Very bad hair cut from Meghan. Nothing is even and it’s impossible to style. Sorry. I have had good haircuts here before but this was my first time with her.

Tila is an amazing hair dresser... I walked in looking and feeling like a mess... My hair had not been done in over 1 years, so I had half brown, and half blonde hair with unhealthy hair. I asked her to do a full foil, and cut off all my dead hair.. and I can not be happier with the results!! I highly recommend her, she is very nice which is always good... It made for a very nice time, and I will always come back for Tila!!!!!

I moved to the south shore area almost 3 years ago now. Being of Asian descent, I guess I never realize how difficult it was to work with Asian hair. I have jet black pin straight hair length pass my butt. I’ve been to a few places where I tell them a specific cut and I even give them examples and the cut is completely wrong and they chop off way too much hair. I had Google Hair salon near me in the first result that came up was Zona Norwell. I called and the person at reception was extremely knowledgeable on the Hairstylist And what they specialize in. I told them over the phone that I would like to schedule a haircut and schedule someone that knows how to work with Asian hair. I wish I got her name because she was spot on. Today when I went in for my appointment, I first met with Sarah who was absolutely pleasant And washed my hair To help Xiqin Get ready for me. When it came time for Xiqin to cut my hair, she gave me exactly what I want, and not only that she wanted to make sure I Was happy with my results. I wish I took a photo of my hair, but she did such an amazing. I highly recommend Xiqin If you’re looking for your exact style a cut, and for someone that actually listens to what you want. She kept my hair long , She gave me all the layers I wanted and Also, input Her recommendation of the length to make sure it wasn’t choppy, She gave me angles , and lastly, my long curtain bangs to tie all up . She was amazing . The atmosphere of the salon was extremely classy, Clean, And just overall a very put together Establishment. I needed to put in a review today because I’m So happy with my hair and with the service that was provided. I will definitely be back!

Having just experienced my 2nd bad experience with Zona salon, the 1st one was at Zona Hingham during the pandemic, I thought I should share to save others from my experiences. I had booked an appt to have a wash & blowout with a stylist named Xijin. I was told on the phone that I would be in good hands with this stylist who’s been there for yrs. Unfortunately, I felt very much like I wasn’t in good hands from the minute the stylist started with my visit. The hair wash was fine but then, what I look forward to the most, the scalp massage was very uncomfortable. This stylist gave a very strange head massage with small fast movements with way too much pressure. Should have been fair warning but I was hoping for the best and looking forward to the trim & blowout. When I say that I was butchered by this stylist I’m not even a a little bit kidding. I told her what I wanted which was maybe 3/4 inch trim & a blowout. She started right away telling me what I should do cuz I had “too much hair”. She kept mentioning layering, I repeated that I just wanted a trim & blowout. This kept on through the rest of the visit, with her saying “see, I do this, will be better, I know I’m the stylist. She ripped at my hair during the visit, she ended up ripping my hair (thinning) it even though I had said no. Once she started doing that there was no going back, the damage was done. Just when I thought she was done, she continued to thin out the mid to end of my hair. I left there with half the thickness of the hair I had when I came in. Even the blow dry, she was pulling so hard on my hair, I could feel the breakage. I went home thinking, I can’t believe what this woman just did. Woke up next morning, hoping I was wrong & maybe it wasn’t so bad, but whenI went to comb my hair & put it up as I usually do, I had no freakin hair to put up. To say I was pissed is an understatement. This salon is Way overated! I guess if you don’t have the money to pay for the highest stylist there, you are not going to have a stylist who even has a clue what she’s doing and maybe get Butchered like me. I want my money back and my hair fixed (but obviously that can’t happen). Zona Norwell sucks.

I cannot say enough great things about Romina. She is kind, gentle, funny and does fabulous color, cut style. Zona salon is comfortable and enjoyable. I always feel good about myself when I walk out.

I had one of the best salon experiences of my life! I called same day and the team fit me in within 30 min. I was going from long hair to a pixie cut and they teamed me with Heather M. who is extremely talented, professional and a delightful person. She was great at keeping some length first before going shorter, and consulting me on my edges. The scalp massage was heavenly. My haircut is fantastic and Donna, at the front desk, is a gem. I recommend trying Zona!

Ii asked for contrast in my short spiked hair. Darker roots and yellowish spikes. I washed once. My hair is all the same redish color. Not happy.

By far the worst salon I have been to. They have cancelled or changed every appointment I have had. The only great stylist they had left due to poor management. The other girl that did my hair extensions did such a terrible job that I had mats all over, she didn't match my hair to the extensions, it looked and felt awful. I will not be back and you should avoid it at all costs.

I've always had Andrew (Frank’s brother, part owner) cut my hair, but when he had nothing available right away, I decided to try someone new asking only for someone who’s extra good at short haircuts. I was told that “Beth” was extremely good and had an opening in the Norwell location the following day. I’ll admit I was nervous about an unknown but Zona has such high standards, I figured anyone in their employment would be safe. Well, “safe” a gross understatement as it turned out. Beth has exceptional talent in precision and what I perceived as a perfectionism that’s exactly what I wanted in a hair stylist ( I can always messy it up at will ..) She’s accommodating but not to the point where her experience fails to express the ideas that I need from an expert or I’d cut my own hair. Her intense focus didn’t preclude a natural friendliness I found refreshingly authentic. I didn’t expect to be so pleased by anyone other than Andrew, but Beth did such a wonderful job—I’m sure Andrew will understand. These guys only hire the best.

I've had my hair colored and styled by Marjeta 3 times now and I can't speak highly enough of her. She is a true professional! I don't feel rushed and I trust her 100% on her advice for my color and style! I get so many compliments on my hair after I see her! She is fabulous and I just love my hair! I highly recommend her!

Today was my first time at Zona in Norwell and Skylar did an amazing job for my cut and color! Everything was so clean in there and they followed COVID protocol to make you feel safe! She was so nice and did an awesome job on my hair! Will definitely be back! Also a great value for a cut and color highly recommend

I went zona hingham for years, always excellent services, guarantee good looking hair do, you think another branch be the same, my experience in zona norwell was different. 30mins late without any communication initiated by the saloon regarding how long we had to wait, or explanation. If hingham zona without an appointment, I wouldn't compromise with going to norwell branch, they're totally different. Great haircuts, 1 star off for bad communication and not being on time.

Marjeta is a master colorist!! Like many during Covid I took on coloring my own hair. Let’s just say it was disastrous. I had been to Marjeta once in Weymouth and was SO relieved she was moved to Norwell. She not only fixed my hair but made it better than it’s been in years. I love the color and my normally unruly dry hair is now glossy and healthy. A little spark of happiness during these times. Thank you SO much Marjeta!!!! Also, Zona Norwell follows strict protocol to keep clients safe including partitions, cleaning, distancing, masks and sanitizer stations. Very impressive and calming for someone like me who is at high risk FIVE STAR review from someone who never leaves reviews Thank you again Marjeta!!

Staff are very nice and helpful. Stylists always listen to what I am looking for and also make recommendations without being too pushy. The front desk is super helpful about scheduling. And I get so many compliments on my hair! They also take safety precautions during COVID-19 seriously which I really appreciate.
