Zia saved me yesterday!! For real. I wanted to see her initially, but she doesn’t do k tips. So I went somewhere else and ended up choosing colors that did not blend well together at all. The stylist did a great job on my install so no complaints there at all and the color choice was on me, but I digress. I was hoping I’d wake up and feel better about. Instead I was mortified. Zia luckily had a cancellation the same day and was able to get me in. I already felt so welcomed when I walked into this beautiful thoughtfully designed space and once I sat in Zia’s chair, I knew why I wanted to receive services from here. She was able to easily attune to me and co create a color that is exactly what I wanted. I woke up this morning feeling in love with my hair. It was black for a long time so this is definitely a new vibe. I will be going back to Zia to get my color and cuts as long as I am in St. Pete. She has such a vibrant energy. You will leave her chair feeling like the goddess (or king) that you are. Thank you so much sister!!!

Just got a gray blending done, and I absolutely love it. With this low maintenance style, my gray hair blends seamlessly like glitter into the rest of my hair. It’s so pretty! Plus, Zia is really a wonderful human and great to chat with whilst getting my hairs done. Go see her!

Bex has been doing my hair for years, cutting my long curls without it swelling into a big bobb. She is mindful of cutting to accommodate both easy scrunch and go or blowing out straight. She's been painting in blond to blend my gray with my natural darker colors. I've also had gorgeous pink and purples too over the years and all look amazing. She is a talented and lovely person with a very calming space and energy. I share her info with all my people. ♡ Thanks Bex!

I came in looking for an updated style & left with a cutting ceremony ( EVERYTHING I needed. ) .. the haircut is amazing… but the welcoming environment, calming aura, and positive words made the experience for me. I felt so much lighter after leaving. Not to mention that I’ve gotten nonstop compliments about my haircut! 🤩✨

It’s been nearly 2 weeks since my hair cutting ceremony. It was an incredible experience. It was the best haircut I have ever received. I have had so many that have gone awry due to stylists being confused about my hair and then not listening to me. Zia not only heard me, but nurtured & supported me too. Zia has played a pivotal part in my transformation: I was long overdue to cut many energetic cords that were extremely unfulfilling as well as damaging. Bye. Snip. Inviting my intentions to fill up my mind & soul….powerful & cathartic. She also encouraged me to ditch shampoo which is a huge game changer. It’s been my second favorite bottle to ditch, booze being the first (I quit during the pandemic.) Living much lighter these days! So happy I have found a stylist I can trust - one who is so kind, compassionate & supportive. Oozing gratitude & appreciation for Zia💚

Zia is amazing! It’s so nerve wracking to try a new hairstylist when you move to a new place, but based on the reviews, I gave her a try. I am so happy I did! Little did I know that she specializes in gray blending, which is just what I needed. My color looks fantastic (very natural highlights) and the cut is the best I’ve had in more years than I can remember. Plus, she has the best aura!

My experience with Zia was the best intentional haircut I’ve ever had. I opened my eyes at the end and my haircut was exactly what I envisioned. Zia is truly talented, unique, & kind. Zia is the absolute best stylist I have found in St Pete. Extremely knowledgeable. She listens to your needs/wants and takes hair seriously and professionally. After 7 years of stylist after stylist I finally found someone I would recommend and I highly recommend her! After someone destroyed my hair she has been able to bring it back stronger and healthier than ever. I also recommend attending her beach meditations. They are powerful and a unique experience. Zia is also very knowledgeable with yoga, wellness, and holistic living. I have had nothing but great experiences with Zia and Zen Central.

From the moment you walk in to Zen Central you can feel the tranquil vibe of the salon. From the decor, the music and to Bex herself, everything just puts you at ease. Bex has been my hair stylist for almost two years now. I like my hair platinum blonde but a couple times a year I enjoy a drastic change to bright pink or magenta. I have never left this place disappointed. Bex definitely has the magic touch, and the knowledge to keep my hair not only looking good but also healthy. Highly recommended.

I absolutely loved the job Zia did on my hair coloring. I have had many people not do it correctly because they one didn’t know what they were doing and two didn’t take the time to do it right. I made an appointment with her and she was extremely informative and knew exactly what she she was doing. She was 100% invested in taking time to do it and did a fantastic job! She was extremely happy and was just as excited as I was to see the end result and boy she nailed it!!! I highly recommend her! She will be my new stylist/colorist. And I think I will try some other services she provides. She is super pleasant and nice. I’m so happy I finally found someone know how to color hair the way I like it. Zia is great!!! Give a 10 star if I could! ☺️

Went to Zia for the first time yesterday, oh my goodness, I've found my new salon! What a beautiful, relaxing space. And Zia did an awesome job on my pandemic hair (I hadn't had cut or color in about a year). I felt like myself again after she worked her magic. Highly recommend this St. Petersburg gem!

Bex is absolutely amazing not only with your hair but she has the most beautiful energy! This beautiful soul handles your hair with care and does some awesome work. You can also sign up for meditation during or after your appointment. Always excited to go to the shop and spend time with her while I get my hair done and when I leave I feel wonderful inside and out.

Bex is such an awesome person! She also is awesome with some foil and hair color as well... we'll call her multi-talented. Her shop is the cutest and you feel at ease the moment you walk through the door. She listens to what you want and gives you any tips/advice you could ever want! I am so happy I found Zia! She is literally an angel sent from the heavens above. I wish I would have found her a day sooner but as they say everything happens for a reason. The day before I met Zia I went to a different salon ( we just moved here from WI so I was a bit nervous already) and to make a long story short I got botched 😭. I had to get my hair fixed ASAP and out of nowhere she appeared. I had every haircut in my life already in my past l but I have never cried over a haircut before. I went to Zen Central and the moment walked in the door I had this calm rush over me and I knew I was in good hands!! She fixed my hair. And I walked out with the best haircut of my life. Who would have known that if I didn’t get the worst haircut ever now I found the person that will suit all my hair needs. Thank you Zia. I will forever be indebted to you 💫🙏🏼☺️

I had a hair ceremony with Zia and it was quite the experience. She held space for me beautifully and treated me AND my hair with love and respect. She understands the energy our hair strands hold and made sure I was comfortable, see and heard. She curated the experience beautifully! The location is also beautiful and I felt very at home!

So...I made the huge mistake of bleaching my own hair during quarantine. Let's just say it was a mess. I just moved back to the area and was looking for someone to fix my hair. A friend recommended Zia and I'm so glad she did! She gave me an amazing new haircut and color. She somehow rescued my bleached broken hair. She is super nice and really listened to me along the way. I was so comfortable in the chair. It was a great experience. Thank you Zia! I will be coming back.
