I’m disappointed. I went to zen because I heard great things about it but now I don’t think I will be going back there. I went to go have my nails done for a photoshoot, so I needed them to look nice. The lady who did my nails was obviously rushing because she didn’t give me any time to pick a color and did not paying attention to detail while doing my nails, she cut all of them different lengths, didn’t file them down enough and left small bumps on the top, and filed them all different shapes. I did go back in later to have them fixed (they were nice enough to try and fix them), but they didn’t fix anything about the shapes or sizes. I am disappointed because the amount I paid for the nails does not reflect the quality of the service.

It is very rare and difficult for me to leave a negative review. However, in the years my daughter and I have been getting manicures/pedicures, never have I spent 240 dollars for two FILL-INS and pedicures. They didn't even add more white to my French fill in. Had this pricing been discussed with me, I would have rather had a new set. It's clear when workers are talking about you, and within two days both mine and my daughters nails were chipping. Very, very disappointed.

Alice is Amazing! I have a regular nail tech at home in California and am always a bit hesitant to go somewhere else. However, Alice was skilled, kind, and detailed. She does amazing work and really cares about the client’s happiness. I will look forward to coming back next time I visit family! Thanks Alice! 💅

I asked for long tapered square nails and only my thumb nails are the desired shape and length I asked for. The nail tech, Winter(male) CANNOT shape nails!!! One nail was crooked and I asked for the manager (heavy dude) and he was very non chalant about my issue. My nails are uneven and my thumb nails are longer than the rest of my nails. The tech did a sloppy paint job that I had to go back for it to be fixed. Ive been getting my nails done for 20+ yrs and NEVER had a tech not have me wash my hands!!! I was NEVER instructed by Winter to go to the wash bowl. When I pointed it out to the tech, he stated, "Sometimes it's better to wash hands after gel polish." I always get gel and that's the first time I was NOT instructed to wash my hands even after the polish!! VERY UNSANITARY!!! While checking out, the tech stated, "Sorry I couldn't make you happy today." A place of business should NEVER let a customer walk out not satisfied without rectifying the issue first. They rush you but want to charge an arm and a leg for poor service!! The Chattanooga and Ootlewah locations are better. I've gone to Zen for years, but won't be going back!!

This place is amazing. They get you taken care of as soon as you walk in the door. I never have to wait long. I always see Alice for my mani and pedi! She’s is just the sweetest and does such an amazing job! She is my girl everytime i go in there.

Alice at Zen Nail Spa is amazing! She's very kind, and so attentive to detail when doing your nails. Her talent speaks for itself. These tortoise shell nails almost don't look real, and are so beautiful! I love them. If you are looking for a new nail salon I highly recommend Zen. The entire staff, as well as Alice, go above and beyond to give you the best experience.

Left happy with experience. Approximately one day, my nails started cracking and peeling. You can see air bubbles under neath the gel. I spent a lot of money this day including a pedicure, manicure and eyebrow waxing for my nails to look awful. I’m a bridesmaid in a wedding, and now do not have time to get them fixed. I expected better from Zen.

so i go here and i just get a FILL IN and they didnt even let me pick a color bc they were rushing to do my nails. So again i just went in for a fill in and i wanted the design on the left he said okay i can do that but it will be $55 i said okay thats fine bc u know im getting four nails with designs so i thought it would be okay. Well some time goes by and he still hasnt done a design on any finger he ends up telling me he cant do it bc i picked coffin shape instead of almond. I said ok thats fine let me pull up a new inspo pic. So i did just that and thats what u see on the right, they look good right? wrong only from far away when i left the salon i had to clean up under my nails bc they didnt i still had acrylic shavings under evey single nails when i left that i had to pick out when i got home, they are so uneven there bumps in my paint and im just not satisfied at all. then time comes to pay and its still $55 for a FILL IN and design on one finger i paid it but i wasnt happy with my nails. They are uneven, sharp, they look square not coffin, and he didnt even file my real nail under so it looks bad in my opinion not satisfied at all and i still ended up paying the price for the first set with this set

I had my nails done the day before thanksgiving, not even 24 hours after the fact five of the nails were lumpy and pealing. I left a bad review causing them to contact me to “make the situation right” and for me to remove my review. So I go in and they redo my nails. Once again not even 24 hours later my nails are doing the same thing. The lady who did my nails this time got kinda impatient in the curing process towards the end. If you want the job done right go somewhere else. Don’t go here unless you want to waste your time and money. They use to be good who knows what happened.

I love Zen!! I have been going for a couple of years now, and Alice is amazing! She is so skilled and talented, and takes the time to make sure my nails always look great. I am always happy with the results, and the whole experience is relaxing and enjoyable. Great results and consistent quality!

I wish I could give 0 stars, absolutely TERRIBLE experience. My nail tech (female with rusty blonde hair) spent the entire time on her phone, if not taking phone calls she was sit back texting. A fill in with matte black polish, seemed easy enough but MAN was I wrong! After the extremely standoffish attitude and telling me she couldn’t do anything I asked, she was finally done….and they looked terrible. I was rushed away to pay only to spend the entire day wondering if I should go back since I DID pay for a service they very poorly provided; another mistake. I went back the next day to get 3 nails fixed, lucky me they send me over to the original nail tech just for her to tell me my nails are the color I asked for, “so what’s your problem!?”. When showing her the massive ripples, bubbles and other ugly issues with my nails she SCREAMS at me to CALM DOWN. Of course the place was packed, I didn’t raise my voice I just wanted what I paid for. Instead I sat there red faced wanting to rush out of that place as fast as possible…. The worst customer service I’ve had ever, not just at a nail salon.

Zen nail spa is the place to go! Alice is always so sweet and helpful! She does such an amazing job every time! Emily did my daughter’s nails and did such a good job! The staff is very welcoming and kind! Highly recommend zen!

Another great color dip powder manicure. Peter always does an amazing job. They now know me by name and everyone is so friendly. The girl next to me was getting snowflake nail art added to her nails! It was beautiful !!

I had a wonderful experience and Miles did a perfect job on my nails. I showed him a picture and he did exactly what I asked for and even went through the trouble of helping me find the exact color. I will definitely be going back and asking for miles!

My nail techs name was Kyle. I picked out one gel color for both a manicure & pedicure. Both ended up being two different colors and I didn’t notice until after I paid and walked out…I was too upset to walk back in and somehow have it fixed. This was only my second visit to this nail spa.
