I visited this place twice because of its good reviews, but both times, the massages were extremely disappointing + my back started hurting more after the second visit. I don’t believe the therapists have proper training—they seem to be just going through the motions. The first time, I booked a 50-minute reflexology session with Jacqueline, who clearly had no idea what she was doing plus she was scratching me with her long nails which was painful. It wasn’t reflexology; it was pure improvisation. I paid but informed them that the service was subpar. Hoping I had just been unlucky, I asked who their best deep tissue therapist was, and they recommended May. I decided to give it another chance and booked with her. Unfortunately, the second experience was just as bad. Instead of a deep tissue massage, I was simply rubbed with oil—nothing more. Again, I paid but politely let them know that this was my second consecutive disappointing experience. They offered to “help,” and when I asked how, they suggested a 10% discount on my next visit. That was insulting—why would I return for yet another bad massage? No, there was no miscommunication. The issue is straightforward: the service was poorly executed by untrained staff. If they’re not qualified to perform this type of massage, why is it even offered in the booking system? I strongly advise avoiding this place. I don’t trust the reviews, or perhaps they only apply to a specific therapist.

A year ago, I received a professional and considerate massage treatment here. Today, I am here again and have received more professional and meticulous service. Due to my cervical discomfort, the masseur taught me some soothing methods after the treatment. This kind of care is something I have not enjoyed elsewhere. I am very grateful for providing me with the best service. I must return here again and look forward to it

I recently visited Zen Spa and had an absolutely wonderful experience! I opted for the Deluxe Head Spa treatment, which was an incredible value at just $208. The service exceeded all my expectations. The spa environment is incredibly calming and beautifully designed. From the cozy lounge area with its unique hanging chairs to the tranquil treatment rooms, everything is thoughtfully arranged to create a serene atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel welcomed and comfortable from the moment I walked in. The Deluxe Head Spa itself was pure relaxation. The attention to detail and the care taken during the treatment were outstanding. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and thoroughly pampered. Zen Spa is truly a hidden gem. The combination of professional, warm staff, excellent services, and a beautiful setting makes it a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more treatments. Highly recommend!

I was very happy to be able to get in last minute on a Saturday. I had a deep tissue and it was more vigorous than I’m used to but the woman was good and paid attention to the areas I needed focus on. I would recommend to others that are on vacation and wanting a needed break :)

This was the best lymphatic massage I have ever had! I have had many lymphatic massages over the past few years, but nothing has compared to the one I got here. It was so relaxing and I felt so rejuvenated after. Highly recommend.

I was recommend to Andy by a friend and he did not disappoint!! He was kind, professional, and a calming presence. Last week, I had a Swedish massage that included an abdominal massage, and I loved it! The abdominal massage from Andy was amazing. It literally improved my digestion, and I felt less bloated immediately. The few minutes he worked on my abdomen reduced a lot of tension, not just in my abdomen but also in my lower back. I will definitely request it next time

Great service - Andy and Cindy are both very good with deep tissue + cupping if you need. I always appreciate the staff's flexibility and swiftness to see clients as soon as they can. Plus they have great packages which really make the benefit to go back even easier!

Pretty solid! Was taken good care of, even being a few minutes late … Worth the price, quality massage. They don’t have a lot in the facility itself, and the little additions some spas do before and after felt missing. Otherwise, if you just need a massage that isn’t risking your body and will make you feel rejuvenated, this place has you covered! Would go again, since it’s not an incredible rip off price wise (as some things in SF can be).

This is a great spa. It’s small but has everything needed. The staff is all very kind and the atmosphere is very calming. I went to get a massage there and let me tell you, the reviews about Elton are so true! He was truly amazing! I said I wanted a deep massage and he did not disappoint. If something didn’t work, he’d try a different technique. It’s obvious he knows what he’s doing. If you need to be fixed up, he is your guy!

My wife gifted me a head message at Zen for my birthday, focusing on my issue with migraines. The treatment was wonderful, relaxing and energizing my head, scalp, face and neck. Had a hard time not falling asleep 😄 It was the first time I had a pure head massage and can only recommend it!
