I had been going to Lauryn for my hair color and highlights for many years . She finally moved back from Maui and has opened up the most adorable hair studio and boutique in the heart of Encinitas . I am so excited that she is back in San Diego!! She is is an amazing hair artist and a wonderful person ! I love that she has met a lot of the local artists and is displaying and selling their art and Jewelry ! I can’t say enough about Lauryn !! she is truly amazing !!! I definitely recommend her to everyone !!! 🙂

I always Get compliments on my hair after I have it done by Lauryn. This second generation Hairstylist is the best I have ever met. I would recommend her to anyone. she gives you the kind of haircut that looks styled even if you don’t style it. It just falls in place where it’s supposed to. The color that she gives matches the client perfectly. Her talent shows In every client. When I see the people walking out of her salon with big smiles and beautiful hair, I know I truly have found a talented and skilled stylist.

I typically change my hair color with the season, going vibrant and darker in the winter and lighter in the summer. I tend to do color work myself but I didn’t want to do any damage to my hair with those box dyes and wanted something more professional and permanent. A co worker of mine always has the most beautiful color work done on her hair so I asked her if I could get her hair stylist number. Turns out it’s her best friend. Perfect!!! I texted Lauryn and she was so so sweet and so knowledgeable. I sent her a photo of what my hair looked like and what I wanted it to be. She was excited about the color I chose and we both couldn’t wait. When I arrived at her salon, it was the cutest most comfy and homey salon I’ve been to. Lauryn is gorgeous and so sweet. We got right to work and chatted while she brushed on the beautiful deep vibrant burgundy red color onto my hair. She is very professional and took her time. We let the color set for a bit then it was a nice, soothing hair wash and dry. I loved the color turned out and she sent me off with some beautiful voluminous curls. I will def be back for any touch ups I need or color change. Thank you again so much Miss Lauryn. I love my new color!!! Highly recommended!!

I had a great experience getting a haircut with Lauryn!! I loved how detail oriented she was. After the cut and blowdry, she went back and made sure that all my faceframing pieces were cute perfectly and that I was happy. We chatted throughout the appointment and she is so nice and welcoming. I will be back!!

Lauryn did an excellent job refreshing my hair! She made sure to be prepared for what I wanted since I was a new client. I sent her photos and she did great! The salon is small but comfortable and private. Would definitely recommend!

Lauryn is masterful at color and cut. I’m a natural red-head but nobody has gotten the color right, except for Lauryn. Her space is super cute and very “zen” so you feel Ike you’re getting a real spa experience.

I highly recommend seeing Lauryn for all of your hair needs, I have long curly hair and it glows and bounces with joy leaving the chair. Specializes in Brazilian blowouts but doesn’t mind cleaning the neck up and trimming the beards for the male clientele(me) Cute space decorated in commissioned art and handful of plants that give a peaceful vibe 10 out of 10

Lauryn has been doing my hair for over 10 years now and she never disappoints! It’s a matter of fact last time I got my hair done with her I told her that I always have an idea of what I want and she goes above and beyond every time! I’ve had basically every hair color under the sun and each color I’ve had she was able to get me to the best shade with it looking incredible. I get compliments on my hair all the time! Also her studio is so cute and intimate! Sometimes big salons can be overwhelming but her place is super private and cozy and makes the whole experience that much more enjoyable! If your looking for a hair stylist who truly is passionate about her work Lauryn is the girl for you! Your hair will thank you trust me!:)

Lauryn is not only a super talented stylist, but she’s also the sweetest human! From my own experience I can say that she will listen to what you want and is excellent at it all - color, cuts and smoothing treatments. I recently had a Brazilian Blowout from her and I’ve been loving my hair ever since! It has made my hair quicker and easier to style in the mornings and it feels so much smoother!

Lauren did an exceptional job highlighting my blond hair & moving up my tape in extensions the very first time I went to her. That’s not an easy task. Lauryn is the gem I’ve been looking for in North San Diego County for my hair since moving here in 2018 from NYC!! My hair is a multitude of contradictions and tough to get right. Lauryn gave me beautiful, vibrant yet natural-looking color, my first professional cut since COVID, & a Brazilian Blowdry, and each service was SO high quality & exactly what I wanted. Plus - she’s incredibly nice and honest!! No snobby airs or constant upselling, no telling me she can do something that she cannot do. Lauryn works her magic and it shows ... She is an artist and you are her canvase ... She will take you from zero to hero once she is done with you ... Lauryn has been taking care of my hair for over a year and just look at what she has done ... She even does beards and mustaches ... You will look great!!! Highly recommend
