Five star ratings are for the stylists. I've been a customer over 20 years. With new owners comes new cheap chairs. They are hard and hurt my back. Also foot rest flimsy. I was afraid to use for fear it would break. New sinks are uncomfortable and you have to stretch your neck to get a good rinse. The new interior painting is a fresh change and looks nice.

I have been getting my hair cut for years at this location. My stylist is always consistently giving me a great cut. The salon has made some recent changes with updates in decor and painting. A definite plus. However, the chairs were recently replaced and seem low in quality. Not a deal breaker for me. I come back for a great haircut!

I've been coming here for 23 years. My previous stylist was wonderful- Linda, but she retired a few years ago. Thankfully, Wendy took me on as a client. The transition to Wendy was seamless because she is as great as Linda was, both very professional, do fantastic work, are kind & caring and listen to their clients. I love the look of the salon since the renovations - everything looks absolutely beautiful & updated! When renovations first started, I thought the black & white theme might be a "cold" atmosphere, but not at all!! The only thing I don't like are the feel of the chairs. They are very nice looking but are hard & uncomfortable & have no lower back support. If I was taller, the upper back would be just as uncomfortable because the back is so short. I found myself squirming around a lot, trying to get my derriere & back to not hurt, so the relaxing experience of getting my hair done was lacking this visit, hence, 4 star review instead of 5. I was in need of a cup of coffee this morning & the new coffee bar was a lovely surprise & very much appreciated! 😀 Overall, still love this salon & the wonderful people that work there.

My 5-star rating is for Jody aka the "hair goddess." Not everyone can cut and style my curly "fastest growing hair on the planet (per Jody) for the past 30+ years. She is a wonderful, kind, and caring human being and always makes you feel as if you are her number one and favorite client. However, I must agree with the review by Jennifer Fidler. The new chairs and shampoo bowls are terribly uncomfortable. While getting a shampoo, my neck hurts and I have to keep moving my neck away from the bowl to feel comfortable. While I appreciate the new owner wanting to spruce up the salon, I have the impression the owner didn't take the time to talk with the stylists and find out their thoughts and recommendations. After all, they are the ones who have the experience.

My stylist is fantastic. The new renovations look great, however, the chairs are not very sturdy, they tip very easy if someone leans forward in them. I think it is the square base— the old chairs were a round base and did not tip.

This is the salon that I have gone to for many years. It was a nice place that recently changed hands. The new owner is an investor. He came in and updated it in a cutting edge theme. The people who work there have remained. It's different. I'm getting comfortable with it. Soo, I guess🤔 "I LIKE IT." 🙂

Wendy is absolutely amazing. I have been going to her for YEARS. She always does a GREAT job!! The 5 stars are for her! I am a little concerned about some of the remodeling decisions. The chairs are terribly uncomfortable including the shampoo bowl chairs. I have never had an issue with the water going down my back but now I do, to no fault of Wendy. The bowls and the salon chairs do not seem entirely functional. Just from my observation, it appears to make the stylists job harder then it already is. The comfort of the chairs is problem. I want to feel comfortable while at a salon and that is not the case. The chairs don't go high enough and also are EXTREMELY FIRM and hard to sit in for more then just a couple of minutes.
