Got my hair done here around a month ago, I sent the stylest becca the direct hair color I wanted, and not a picture which is on me. The color ended up beinging way more orange than I wanted, but she was willing to fix it which was nice. The issue is, when she was doing my hair for some reason my color on the back side of my head was a completely different color than the front, something I just did not ask for? At first I was exited that my hair was dyed as it was my first time, but when my mom came and asked her she just kept on dodging the question. Now my hair is a complete nightmare to dye over as it fades. Not coming back here again.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at this salon with Emily. Let me start by telling you that you should absolutely make that hair appointment for the haircut you've been afraid to go for because, I did, and I got my dream hair! My cut and style is always on point with little to no effort daily. I have never been someone that had much of a hair routine at home, nor have I been consistent with haircuts. However, my fantastic experiences at this salon with Emily changed me! I not only love all my haircuts that she has done, but she is also the most wonderful and amazing person to chat with. Additionally, her rates are so affordable!! I have even referred every friend and family member (I take my 6 year old to get her hair done here as well!) In summary, make your appointment now. This salon will make your confidence sky rocket without making a huge dent in your pockets🙌🏻🙌🏻

I have been going here for so long! I love Emily, Dana and Rachel! Everyone is super sweet and very talented! Booking is never too far out and it's never too crowded. I can't WAIT to try to new nail services. All in all, great service.

I’ve been visiting Yoma since around when it opened 3 years ago. Everyone at the salon is a master of their craft and friendly to boot. Emily is INCREDIBLE! If you’re looking for the snooty Hyde Park experience this isn’t the place for you. If you want highly experienced professionals who will treat you with kindness and respect then you belong at Yoma. I came to Allexis at Yoma to get my makeup done for a family wedding. I let her know up front what I was looking for and that I really needed the look to last through the night. Within 20 minutes of leaving the salon, my makeup starting creasing all around my eyes. By the time the wedding started (less than an hour after she finished my makeup), the makeup had creased and foundation had separated so badly all over my face, I had to wash the makeup off and do it again myself. I wouldn't even go out in public looking like that, there was no way I could show up looking so creased and cakey to this wedding. When I reached out to Allexis directly to tell her, she denied me any kind of refund and said the reason why it was creasing is because "faces move and sweat". I understand that and I am used to touching up my own makeup as needed throughout the day, but there's no way a $100 face of makeup should last for only 20 minutes after being done. I'm sure the other girls at this salon do great work (hair, lashes, etc.), but I cannot recommend coming here for makeup.

I consistently come in to have my makeup done by Alexis and she blows it out of water every single time. She’s amazing! She always accommodates my wants/needs rather it’s about scheduling or just giving me the makeup look exactly how I want it. I love the vibe in general at the salon and I feel so comfortable and beautiful everytime I leave. Love her 🫶🏼

I took a one on one lip blush course with Rachel the owner of Yoma. I absolutely loved her! She’s so patient and explained everything in detail and helped me along the way. I continue to message and ask her questions and she’s always positive and helpful and continues to mentor me in my progress. I highly recommend her as a permanent makeup instructor and her course was comprehensive and made me feel really comfortable working with her and now on my clients.

I love coming here. The staff is amazing I feel right at home. I've been coming here since mid June of last year and I have had my lashes, microblading and hair cut/dyed here. I've never been disappointed by any service provided.

Been multiple times for hair cuts, colors and lash extensions and have never been disappointed! Emily always does an amazing job. All staff is welcoming and friendly, and the salon was clean and adhered to COVID-19 rules and regulations. The inside of the salon is well lit and decorated nicely- 10/10 recommend
