Billy is the best of the best! I am so grateful to have found Billy, every single time I have been to Billy it has been an unbelievable experience and I leave feeling so good about my hair. He is without a doubt the person I trust most with my hair, he has amazing vision and is so skilled and knowledgeable. I also have been using the Yamaguchi Nori shampoo and conditioner and I have seen a huge difference in the health of my hair. Thank you Billy for everything!!

I have been going to Billy Yamaguchi since 2005. He communicates extremely well with me to make sure I know what he is thinking and going to do. I have a ridiculous amount of hair, enough for two or more people and it’s very unmanageable. I leave feeling like 1 million bucks. His loving assistants are my favorite part of my appointment.

Bobby was wonderful and accommodating. I called last-minute to have my 11 year-old-daughter’s hair cut. She has very long hair and wanted it cut and styled a specific way. Of course my daughter wanted it cut for a birthday party later that day. My wife called her personal hair stylist, but she wasn’t available on such a short notice. I called Yamaguchi and Patricia told me she would check with Bobby and get back to me. Patricia called me back within 5 minutes and said he could cut my daughter’s hair if she could get there in 15 minutes. We live in Thousand Oaks, so with traffic, it took us 30 minutes. The staff was so kind to us even when we arrived late. Bobby cut her hair just the way she wanted. He was very gentle with my daughter and explained everything thoroughly to her. Bobby was very engaging and easy to talk to. My daughter enjoyed her experience and will be definitely coming back for her next hair cut. Thank you Bobby!

Happenstance? Fate? Luck? Probably a combination of all three. A planned stay at the Lake Austin Spa Resort came with a bonus in that celebrity hair stylist Billy Yamaguchi was a guest speaker. He shared how he incorporates Feng Shui principles to provide a hairstyle that matches your lifestyle, and then offered to apply those principles to style my hair. Game-changer! Not only does my hair have a new energy and bounce, I have a new energy and bounce. Billy is a master of his craft, but his warmth, personality, and genuine care will impact you even more than the new hairstyle. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience.

I really enjoyed getting my hair cut at Yamaguchi Salons! Billy has such a positive energy and passion for hair styling as well as life and wellness. It was definitely a celebrity experience. It does come at a celebrity price, but Billy mentioned that he creates styles to last, so when you consider having a great cut for several months, it makes it worth it. On top of that, everyone at the salon was super nice, and overall it was a great experience!

My appendix ruptured and I was hospitalized for 12 days. I didn’t eat for nearly a month. I lost 20 pounds. Two months later, from the stress of the illness, half of my hair fell out. I struggled with feeling good about myself. A poster advertising BYamaguchi’s services stirred something inside of me and I believed he could help me. BYamaguchi’s warm heart and passion were immediately evident. He did not see the lifeless person sitting in his chair as he touched my thin, stringy, listless hair. His connection to me through feng shui reached past the downtrodden me and brought out the playful, strong, confident me. My hair danced and shined again. As did I. Healers come in many forms. Billy is a very special professional. His demeanor and honest connection with his clients makes us all feel more confident and better about ourselves. Billy provided my mom with her first post pandemic haircut. After a year and a half of neglecting her hair to protect her health, my mom was over the moon by the transformation Billy brought to her hair and style. He blends Fengshui with his work and through the questions he asked me was able to read who I was and perfectly understood how I wanted my hair done! He offers you your Yin and yang and goes into detail of how that interprets into your life and hair .He gives you suggestions of what he’s feeling and how to shape your hair and most importantly he listen to what your envisioning for your self . You leave Feeling gorgeous and the outcome of his professional advice mixed with what you Envision is indescribable you’ll have to experience for yourself and you won’t be disappointed! I absolutely loved my results. The staff was so attentive, friendly and accommodating. After being locked down with quarantine hair I was completely satisfied! I usually leave a salon and go home and fix my blow dry but not this time. I was able to enjoy it for a few days. I also bought shampoo, conditioner and a few other products that make it easy to keep up the color and style. I can’t wait to go back for my next visit. Billy is the absolute best!

I can’t say enough good things about Yamaguchi Salon. Billy is by far the best hair dresser I have ever gone to. I love how he incorporates yin yang into each experience. It is a warm and welcoming atmosphere and I always feel more balanced afterwards. I would highly recommend him.
