Very disappointed in my ‘holiday party’ hairstyle. I immediately went home and redid my hair- the stylist gave me a very greasy looking unkempt ‘style’ that she did with very little effort. It was not pretty at all and this stylist should not be proud of what she left me with.

Let's just say I fly 2,000 miles from Arizona to see my girl Justine because she's THAT amazing. She works at their sister location, Studio Monroe which is also fabulous. I have never walked out disappointed. Yall (especially that pretty lady Justine!) are amazing!

I was there about a month ago, and had the worst experience with haircut and highlights. Stylist didn’t do what I had asked for. Never wasting my money there anymore.

Paid $250 (before tip) for my daughter to get highlights and a trim on her long hair. I reminded her to tell the stylist, Danielle, that we were going to an event tonight. Most stylist actually try to make you look your best regardless, but some want to know if it is a special occasion. When my daughter arrived home I was sure she hadn't told the stylist that she was going out. Her hair basically looked like it dried naturally with frizz and uneven waves (her natural texture with no product or care). The top was straight and flat. When she said she told Danielle, I picked through her hair and was able to find a couple of curls. So incredibly disappointing- would have been better at a Super Cuts and styling it ourselves. Of course we didn't have time to fix it.

Absolutely love Kristin at Xscape Salon!! She is always persistent to capture exactly what I'm looking for, even when I bring her crazy over the top Pinterest pics. I love that she has a wealth of knowledge in regards to products and is not pushy with sales at all. It's always a great time when I go to Xscape Salon. Updated after over 10 years of going to Xscape - Their new appointment policy is great! It holds people accountable for no showing or frequent last minute cancellations. The service industry is exhausting in today’s world and demand for services are even higher. The Xscape girls are worth gold!!

So disappointed. If you have ever gone through 8 months of growing out short hair you know it’s a pain. I paid for a few hair trims along the way and two highlights. Had been coming to Xscape for years, always a good experience. Couldn’t connect schedules with my normal stylist and the new stylist did not follow my request or the picture, in 25 minutes I was back in my car with a bad haircut. Did not wash or wet my hair and chopped off my hair and most of the highlights. (I haven’t cried about a hair cut since my mom permed my bangs in the 80’s)Stinks but it happens. This is a very small part of my one star review. I called several days later and left a voicemail asking for a owner or manager to call me. Waited a week, called again asked the owner to call me. Called a week later spoke to staff asked the owner or my normal stylist to call me. Waited another week left a message 2 days ago. Nothing. Obviously they don’t care if I come back, it is a busy salon, but at least a owner might read this and I can express my disappointment.

3 hair cuts all on time and a great price for Aveda services. My son (18) thought the beard grooming was a nice touch. A great business with a well deserved reputation. I enjoy the atmosphere in this business. Employees here are knowledgeable and I appreciate that extra care.

Had been going here monthly for a year. Called 4 hours before an appointment to reschedule, and they told me (without warning/never sharing this policy with me before/never before including this language on the booking confirmation) that they’d be charging me a $25 penalty next time I came in. When I came in at rescheduled time, I waited 45 minutes past the appointment time without being seen and had to leave without getting a haircut. No follow up call. They’ve lost a frequent regular, fortunately there are plenty of excellent stylists in this town!

I love Xscape and Studio Monroe for myself, but I just brought my 15 month old for his first haircut ever and Rebekah was SO good with him! She worked super hard even though he was a wiggle worm and did an amazing job! His haircut looks great! We will definitely be scheduling his next haircut back with her! Thank you, Rebekah, for your patience and amazing work! We appreciate it!

Yesterday I got my hair done by Kailyn, and she was beyond amazing. I didn't know what I wanted or what to do. She helped me feel relaxed and told me every step she was taking. The other ladies there were helpful too! I highly recommend them and will be going back for sure! I absolutely love my hair, her work is amazing!!!!

Easily one of the best Salons in West Michigan. I would highly reccommend if you're looking for friendly and helpful staff, easy to make apts, and ofcourse a great haircut. My stylist is Erika and I can say without hesitation she does a fantastic job every single time. She helps me find a 'look' by bouncing ideas that she has with my own. I've never walked out of the doors dissapointed or felt like my haircut was rushed to attend the next customer.

I love this salon. The girls there are up to date in current styles, willing to work with you to achieve your best look, and are highly professional. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I go every for weeks and am ALWAYS satisfied. Prices are fair and competitive. And they are super willing to work with you if you are having any sort of issue. Like I said, highly professional.
