I went here for a massage today after doing a long distance bike ride yesterday. Everything exceeded my expectations by far! Very nice, clean facility with a very welcoming atmosphere. Ashleigh (sp?) was my therapist and she did a wonderful job all around- with great skills and she communicated very well! I look forward to booking again soon!

I give this place a five star. We were greeted wonderfully. It was enough time to sign in all the staff was really great. My husband and I had a couples massage and truly enjoyed it. Just wanted to give a shout out to my massage therapist Tom he was very attentive professional and really helped me relax and my muscles to relax. My husband and I were on vacation so we needed this and enjoyed it. We will return here at the Woodhouse spa next year on our vacation. 🌸Kim solley

I booked a facial and 80min massage for my wife as a birthday gift . She said the facial was amazing and would go back for another . She was not happy with massage . She was very disappointed . When I picked her up she was in tears . Her back has been aching for months and was hoping to have some relief. She said the masseuse yawned the whole time . She never worked on her lower back area and she only gently caressed her . What a huge let down and displeasure this was.

No good. I have been getting facials regularly for 25 years. This one was probably the worst to date. I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain it. It was ridiculous.

If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would. I just got off the phone with the General Manager of the Corpus Christi Woodhouse, Shannon, in regards to my previous appointment. I had given an honest review based on my experience via in their follow up appointment email. During my last visit, I felt that my massage was sub par. I told my masseuse, prior to my massage, I have an injured shoulder that has had surgery and to avoid that area, otherwise I’m good. The masseuse had weak hands through the majority of the massage, so I asked him to increase the pressure in other areas (while still avoiding my shoulder), he then takes his thumbs and digs into my injured shoulder. He could see I was in pain and asked “if it was too much?”. I told him it hurt and we wrapped up the session shortly after. Then, the woman who gave me a facial (to which she almost cried during her introduction) was not up to the task either; she made the situation very awkward after having to spend a moment to “gather herself” and the facial went down hill from there. I spent $450 on a mediocre experience for two. We honestly thought that all four therapists we came into contact with were students. Fast forward to today, I get a call from Shannon (the General Manager) of this location. She calls and begins to what felt like mansplaining to me what the difference in a sports massage vs a body relaxation massage was. I booked a sports massage. However, the conversation I had with my masseuse prior was that he would give me a hybrid of sports and deep tissue. Shannon would know that if she had asked me or even let me talk. I asked her if we were going to talk about my experience and she starts in again with the mansplaining. I had to cut her off and ask her what this call was about. She then continues to bring into conversation how those therapists I had have been with the establishment for 17 and 10 years respectively. I had to ask her to get to the point. She then told me next time I would get 20% off my next experience. She started to raise her voice and start in again about how long the therapists had been with the establishment. There was no dialogue, no apology or anything close to a civil conversation. I told her she was raising her voice and she was being overly aggressive. She then cuts the conversation off quickly, says I have 20% off the next visit and promptly hangs up on me. To say Shannon was extremely unprofessional is an understatement. I felt like a child being scolded for having an opinion. I won’t be returning.

Today was my first visit here. The ladies up front were very nice and welcoming. I don't remember the young man's name who did my massage, but he was very attentive to the spots I had the most tightness and stressed area's. I left so relaxed. I highly recommend Wood House Spa to anyone looking for a great, relaxing and inexpensive experience.

I liked this place. I received a gift card from my daughter for my birthday. It was my first time going. It's very clean. All the staff was very kind and helpful. The service was great. They will cater to your needs , you just have to tell them what you want or don't want.

My sweet husband booked me a prenatal massage and a mani pedi for our little weekend getaway. The massage was fantastic I’d absolutely book again COMPLETELY worth the money! The mani pedi on the other hand, huge waste of money. My finger nails look terrible, lucky for me I had gel on my toes and they didn’t have time to take it off so at least those still look good. If you want polish that will chip off in a day and literally no pressure or effort go for it if not just go to a walk in nail salon you’ll pay less for a better result.

This was my first time visiting the spa, and all I can say is WOW!! Bianca warmly greeted me and made sure I had something to drink while filling out a brief health history. Massage was first with Ryder. I asked for moderate pressure during my Swedish massage and asked that he focused on my right neck/shoulder area. He was very professional, soft spoken and did very therapeutic work on the desired spot I mentioned. While waiting for my facial, Bianca made sure I had a beverage and checked on my well being. Then came facial with Destiny. She was very professional and knowledgeable and informed me of what kind of facial I was getting and the expected benefits. I was then taken back for the last portion of my day to get a mani/pedi with Bianca. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a polish set, and she did a WONDERFUL job! I felt completely unplugged and relaxed all day! If I had the time and money I’d do this every weekend! Seriously all around 5 stars! Will definitively be back! From the moment I stepped into this spa, I was greeted with incredible service that made me feel like a queen in an oasis. My massage therapist was a beautiful and affirming woman who was able to transform my whole body with one session. The esthetician who was in charge of my facial experience was also so wonderful, and so knowledgeable about her trade. I will 100% be going back here for the next time I am blessed enough to spoil myself. Give this gift to your loved ones - do it! So worth it! ❤️🎉

I'm so disappointed...I scheduled a appt.for 20th of March and called today to confirm all i scheduled for. Receptionist was clueless to my questions,numerous times she kept putting me on hold...18 min hold. At tht point I'm done bc I was booked for a illuminate facial,80mins massage n reflexology, mud wrap n Lympatic drainage ..n bath. They only booked me for facial n massage...every question I had I was put on hold! Be vigilant and be aware bc these days u just can't trust unless they earn n deserve tht trust! Today I warn u of Woodhouse "spa..smh!" I'm so thankful I didn't give them $ 570they wanted!

Love coming in 30 minutes early and sit back and relax with a beverage and hot neck roll in the ready room prior to my massage. I love my Swedish message with Shara, who is great remembering my preferences. Friendly staff and Shannon the manager does great customer service and recognition.

Wonderful experience from the initial greeting by Shannon to the most amazing facial by Destiny. I was so relaxed with my facial that Destiny almost put me to sleep. I will book again.
