I had a great experience here. Lauren is an amazing hairstylist, she is very kind and professional. The scalp massage was so relaxing, and she combed my hair so gently. She listened to me very carefully and asked follow up questions to make sure she would attend my expectations. I love my new haircut! she got a new client :)

Makell is such a sweetheart! I was so nervous to chop my hair but sooo ready to do it. Makell backed me up in my decision and confirmed what I wanted would look great. We chopped at least 6 inches off and It's beautiful 🤩 I will be reshceduling myself and bringing the family to Wildwood Hair in the future.

Lauren did my hair and let me just say she did an amazing job! I came in with a lot of growth from a previous balayage and Lauren was able to get me back to a bright blonde. She also did amazing with time and it didn’t feel like I was there all day which is always a plus in my book! This place is definitely worth it. I loved my experience!

This was my first time here and I was nervous but once I sat in Mimi’s chair she was so sweet and welcoming. My hair got really dry and split ends from a pass haircut with a razor. She made it feel so soft & voluminous again! She also styled my hair with cute beach wave curls! Definitely going back💞

Brandi is magic. She has done my hair for the last 7 years, and she is the best hair stylist/colorist I’ve ever had, hands down. She stays up to date with trends, listens to concerns and requests, and always makes me feel like a million bucks when I leave! She is also extremely personable and genuine, and there is truly no one like her. She sincerely values her clients and staff and they adore her as well. If you want lots of good vibes, great hair, and a beautiful salon, this is your place!!

I have been here 2 times and both times I left feeling in love with my hair again. I have had the pleasure of working with Lola and now Mimi. They are both very friendly and very professional. They listened to my hopes for my hair and I always felt that my goal for my hair was completely embraced. Great service. Reasonable cost. Magnificent results.

I had a great experience at Wildwood! My stylist listened very diligently to what kind of color and cut I wanted. She then executed it perfectly! She took her time and was happy to educate me on everything that was happening. I have curly hair, but she never made me feel like it was a hassle during the appointment, as I have felt elsewhere. She agreed to give me short layers without any backlash, and they have made my curls so bouncy and defined! She understood exactly what I wanted and I love my hair! I have gotten many compliments. 😊

I got my hair done by Courtney at Wildwood and would absolutely recommend her! I have thick and stubborn hair, so Courtney took the time to come up with the safest and healthiest route for my hair. The atmosphere in the salon was friendly, and Courtney was SO easy and fun to talk to! My hair results are exactly what I asked for. I will definitely be going back.

Okay y’all, lemme tell you a story about Wildwood. Years ago, I was a hair-virgin and wanting to have my hair be properly taken care of with a grown-up hair cut and style. I had been cutting my own hair my whole life, and never ever trusted anyone with my head. I had a couple friends who went to Brandi at Wildwood, back when she was as in her little studio with the green tiles. So I went. She is the warmest, most welcoming, and kindest person I could have gone to. She receives you like she’s known you for years, talks to you about each detail and thought you have about it, and then gives you some of the best hair you’ve ever had. I’ve made friends in her salon, I’ve gone through some hard stuff and different seasons with her and she has always taken such care of me that you can’t help but feel loved. She’s got a heart for her clients, and her studio at wildwood is such a fun, warm place. Brandi is simply the best, and she and her girls are the only people I will ever trust with my hair.

Wildwood has been my go to for years after discovering it through a friend. I’ve been Mimi’s client and she’s honestly an artist. We’ve reached my blonde goals and she is so talented and knowledgeable about hair health and styling - I feel so great after each appointment and my hair has made such a big transformation. Mimi basically reads my mind for exactly what I want each appointment and we have the best time chatting. The salon is such a great environment and the entire staff is lovely!

I loved the hair cut I got they did a very good job. A little expensive but that’s the world we live in now so anywhere you go with good hairstyles is gonna be on the more expensive side. Either pay 40$ and get a bad hair cut or pay 80$ and get everything you want out of your hair cut. I used to go to those cheap place but it’s not worth it. The ladies at this place did such a great job and will treat you kindly.

If you have medium or thicker hair, I don't recommend getting your hair cut by Courtney at Wildwood Hair. I've never had an issue before with any other stylist or salon, however she simply botched the cut, not seeming to know the basics of cutting hair or layering at the bottom. Save yourself the money and the stress of dealing with a bad haircut! I don't think they have experienced stylists, however they charge on the higher end and are very inflexible with enforcing their policies. Most importantly, as others have mentioned, they lack good customer service and are very hard to reach, which is quite rare for a hair salon. I am not a very picky person and went there with an open heart, but unfortunately, in my experience, they offer low quality services at Scottsdale prices. I learned my lesson the hard way, wasting $100 plus and having to now deal with the end of my hair looking uneven, like a broomstick, because of a very blunt, bulky haircut, which lacks any layers. The simplest, most unrefined haircut one could imagine, that shouldn't cost more than $30 and would only work for very fine hair. Very disappointing experience! I would definitely not recommend this salon. Edit: I called the salon twice after I washed my hair, 4 days after the appointment, but no one answered, although it was during business hours. I have a one year old baby and life happened, we both got sick with Covid and only after we recovered, I was able to spend one hour trying to reach them. When they eventually answered, they were not apologetic at all about their mistake, although I politely asked what they would recommend. They only said: Sorry, it has been more than 72 hours, there's nothing we can do. Only when they feared a negative review and I started to show my discontent, saying that I did call as soon as I noticed and paid $100+, they called the manager and offered as a solution that I come in for a correction with the same stylist AND pay for it. They also wanted to see photos, which I didn't send because I quickly realized they are very inflexible, and if I have to pay again, I would rather go to my old salon in Scottsdale, which I'm happy I did despite the longer drive. This is the only option they offered, they didn't show any concern for me as a customer, no accountability, no kindness, didn't offer any viable solution, I was shocked to see that a small business owner would act like this. They did not offer "a couple of different options" as they are stating below. I have the messages to prove the paid option with the same stylist was the only option offered to me. I obviously said I cannot pay more and potentially risk losing more hair length and in the end still not be happy with my haircut. This is probably what they found disrespectful, that I doubted the skills of their staff. However, how could I trust the same stylist again & pay them extra to fix their own mistake, if my thicker hair was cut uneven (my stylist in Scottsdale noticed too) and one length, with no layers at the bottoms, which made it look like a broomstick? This never happened to me before, all hairstylists I went to knew how to properly layer the hair and correctly execute the haircut. This is honestly the difference between cutting your own hair in the mirror at home vs. going to a hair salon. I'm sorry if this is "incredibly disrespectful", but it is the truth. The haircut they gave me didn't just need refining as they try to play it down, it was unflattering, uneven and incorrect for my hair type, and I did have to lose more hair length in order for the other stylist to be able to fix it. If I were the business owner, I would have put the customer first and fixed the mistake myself, at least out of principle, despite the 72 hr free revision policy. With the risk of being disrespectful again, I did find they lack experience working with hair (hence they are defensive and avoid accountability), take no pride in their work, and unfortunately the business owner only cares about the bottom line. Time will tell if this will help them succeed in the long run.

Makell did such a great job on my cut, highlights, and styling! She is such a sweetheart and took the time to make sure she gave me exactly what I was wanting. This was my favorite cut and color I’ve ever had and the salon is cute, friendly, and cozy! Would recommend!
