Cannot recommend Amber enough! I have extremely thick hair and have run the gamut of salons in the city. Most stylists aren't willing to thin out my hair when I ask them to. I showed Amber a picture of what I wanted when I came in and not only did she achieve it perfectly, but she was actually willing to listen to what I wanted as her client and act on it. (Plus, the salon is incredibly cozy!)

Hair burned/severely damaged and scalp blistered I went to get a balayage with Maddie. After applying the first product and putting aluminum foil on my hair, she put me under one of those machines that produce heat. She said I would be there for about 20 minutes. The heat on my head was doable for about 12 minutes. After that, it started to get insanely hot. I felt like my scalp was burning. I looked around to tell her, but she wasn't there. I looked at the hairstylist on my side, and she said: " Is it too hot? It gets very hot sometimes.” So she removed it. My hairstylist came later, washed my hair, and said she had damaged a part of it and would need to cut that part. I think she should've come back to check on me earlier. Also, the other hairstylist said it gets too hot sometimes. If the machine doesn't work well, why do they use it on people's heads? I lost part of my hair, got a blister on my scalp, and the color is also bad. Some parts of my hair are almost white. I can't even dye my hair to correct the color because it is already significantly damaged. I have curly hair, so I'm switching between curly and straight to see the best way to blend the damage. Honestly, it is hard both ways. I'm so devastated that my hair has been destroyed by complacency! This is something that only a long period of time can fix. My confidence has been damaged. That was the worst experience I've ever had in a hair salon in my entire life!

I’m obsessed! Shannon has done my hair several times over the past year and a half, and she is an absolute gem. She excels at her craft. For years, I asked my previous stylist to make my hair blonder, but it never turned out the way I wanted. Since Shannon started doing my hair, it has completely transformed into exactly what I envisioned. She keeps it healthy too! Plus, she’s an incredible person. I always feel recharged after chatting with her because she gets it. She’s good peeps! I highly, highly recommend her and her salon as she is the owner.

DO NOT GO TO KENZIE FOR EXTENSIONS, COMPLETE FRAUD ! I use to go to Kenzie for my hairstyling needs. One time during my appointment I mentioned I always wanted to try extensions. She told me she "specialized" in them and even states it on her Instagram. Later on she said there was a "promotion deal". One she "never heard of them doing" and encouraged me to buy them. So, in March got them placed and within LESS than 24 hours the extensions were matted and looked SO cheap ( see photos)! I started getting bad migraines and the ends of the extensions was poking my scalp. I was embarrassed to even have them on my head. I got them taken out and was told it would take "usually two weeks" to get the refund. Fast forward to now, I still have not gotten my refund or my new hair. I have been reaching out to Kenzie multiple times, practically harassing her and I am blown off with a "its in the works". TO THIS DAY SHE STILL HAS MY 1300 and MY HAIR. I reached out to the manager regarding this issue. Manager of the salon is beyond rude and told me because she's an independent hairstylist so there is nothing she can do even though this "independent hairstylist" represents your company and is making you all look like clowns. I would give this experience with them 0/5 stars if I could. DO NOT support this fraud of a business.There is many other salons in Nashville. Trust me when I say choose another one.

I had my first haircut with Maddie Petit last Saturday and she did an amazing job!!! I gave her little direction (“shape up, thin out some of the thickness of my hair”) and she gave me the best haircut I’ve had in recent memory. Not only is she very skilled with hair, she gave me an incredible scalp massage, I almost passed out from being so relaxed. And $45 for an amazing men’s cut with shampoo and scalp massage??? You best give her a handsome tip every time for the deal you’re getting on a great service. As long as I’m in Nashville, I’m getting my hair done by Maddie

I have stick-straight fine hair that I keep mid-length with no bangs, which seems like a simple enough order and yet many other stylists have managed to mess it up! Not Morgan, though - she has been an absolute gem every time, delivering up a perfect cut that balances my desire for length with natural volume, fullness and a flattering shape that I can let air-dry or style. Plus, she's easy-going and fun to chat with, and the prices are very reasonable compared to what a similar salon in other cities might charge.

Ummm I freakin love this place. I’ve gotten a haircut and partial highlight here since moving to Nashville and so excited for this to be my new go to salon! Amber gave me the most beautiful color. Exactly what I was envisioning! Salon is very cute and homey feeling! Lots of plants which (love) and owner sometimes brings her lil dog in (also love). Def would recommend!!

Every time I pass through on my way from IL to FL I stop and get my haircut by Maddie. The salon is really cute and the light fixtures are very creative. Last time I was there they had a pop-up vintage clothing shop inside and I got a sweet mint condition Dale Earnhardt sweatshirt. Way above your average salon for me.

I would not recommend going here to anyone. Stylist charged me $60 over what was posted online. She also took almost 3 hours to do partial highlights and a simple haircut/trim. I was in such a rush to leave when she told me the price I just paid quick and left. I tipped her well because I always try and tip well. I have been regretting that tip to this day. Highlights are splotchy and brassy. I found my stylist to be pretty rude. Did I mention she took forever and overcharged? I emailed the place twice and called twice. Nobody would answer my calls or respond to emails. This review is well earned. I haven’t been able to physically go back because I’ve had a hellacious work week have future scheduling complications. So either go to a better place with reasonable prices, or expect to be severely dissatisfied in every way. Don’t go here.

This is something I should’ve done a long time ago. I’ve been going to Morgan Daniels for over a year now and she has never disappointed! She always leaves me feeling confident about my hair and my entire look. She continues to deliver the style that I am going for while also showing different ways to bring out the unique characteristics of my hair. I have recommended her to several friends in the past and will continue to do so!

Emily was great for my haircut! I didn’t know how to explain what I was looking for, so I showed her some pics and she delivered above and beyond my expectations! White Cactus is not just a Salon it is an experience. You are greeted with a wonderful chic new mexico vibe just outside of the downtown area. While you are waiting chances are good you will be offer︋ed a beverage to enjoy while you wait. Taryn has cut my hair before and always does a great job. Emily gives the best head massages. It’s definitely worth tipping for extra head scratch time. Shannon is just a doll. Always has the biggest smile on her face and always greets me with a warm welcome. After years of cheap hair cuts I’m so glad I found this place and won’t go anywhere else! My wife even has started going here as well. Can’t recommend this place enough!
