The owner does not care about her students. We were told after we bought two tickets to her Charleston class that we would be able to get a refund due to unforeseen circumstances that popped up with one of the stylist. After we were told we could get a refund I followed up with them because I have not heard back from them. They’re very hard to get in touch with. They then told us that we’re not getting a refund after we missed the class. We would’ve gone to the class if we knew we were throwing money away. We’ve emailed the company several times & messaged them on social media and no one calls you back. Very unprofessional. I’ve been a longtime student and I’m very disappointed

The owner of this salon “forgot” about my appointment that I booked months in advanced. She gave me 0 notice, I found out when I got to the salon, 15 minutes from my appointment time had passed, and after I drove over two hours to get to the salon. Beware before booking you may get treated less than someone else.

This is the cutest little salon with such a beachy San Clemente vibe. Everyone there is so nice! Hannah did my hair and I can’t wait to go back and see her this month. Her work is flawless.

I went there today and asked if they could blow dry my hair. Salon was about to close. I was told that they do sessions only and they were EXPENSIVE!!! I should sign up with the salon! Did they dismiss me thinking that I couldn’t afford it? I’m not sure.

What an amazing experience I had at Wheeler Davis! The second I walked in I was warmly greeted by Matt, who was so incredibly sweet throughout my entire appointment. My appointment was with Rebekah, and she was just as warm and friendly. I had actually reached out to her a week earlier to make sure my expectations were realistic, since I was trying to go from a dark brunette color back to blonde, and she was totally willing to answer my questions, look at (lots of) pictures I sent her, and give me her honest opinion. I greatly appreciated the time she took and how kind she was, and she was just as sweet in person. I loved how she explained every step of the way and her reasoning behind certain decisions. I’m all about informed decision making, and it was so refreshing to have a colorist who explicitly cared about my opinions and made sure I was on board with everything she was going to do. So obviously Rebekah is a great colorist/stylist, but she’s also a really rad person! I enjoyed hearing about her life and the things she finds important. I feel like so often salon experiences leave me kind of disheartened about humanity, as there’s often so much cattiness and superficiality, but I didn’t experience ANY of that at Wheeler Davis! Everyone was kind and real, and I’m feeling good about coming here again and again. I’m happy to spend my money at an establishment that employs such awesome people. And the fact that the salon is absolutely gorgeous and comfortable is an added bonus! Thank you Rebekah, Matt, and the whole Wheeler Davis crew!

Wheeler Davis Salon is my absolute favorite and I’ve explored many salons in LA and OC being a SoCal native. I look forward to every appointment and love their service. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for that sunny California beach washed look!

Loooove my hair every time Heather Hernandez does it! She is the best blond Speciaist! Best blonde colorist in OC! Definitely recommend! I've tried many colorist and she is by far the best! She also uses top products that make my hair feel sooo soft and my hair didn't break!! Almost every time in the past I've had my hair highlighted it feels a bit fried a few days later but she did magic where is was soooo soft and healthy for the first time ever and itIt makes such a difference!

I’ve been to quite a few different hair salons and I’ve never left with hair I actually loved and felt good about. After going in to Wheeler Davis salon the first time, I knew I’d be back! I’ve seen Heather Hernandez a couple times now and I couldn’t imagine ever going to someone else. She is so absolutely talented and sweet. She really cares about her clients and what they expect from the visit coming in. I’ve always struggled with having yellow / bronzey blonde whenever I previously got my hair done. There was a point where I just thought I should stay brunette because blonde was too difficult to achieve but thanks to Heather my dreams of having beautiful ashy beach blonde hair have come true! :) Thanks to Heather Hernandez and the Wheeler Davis Salon, I am now confident with my hair! It’s such a relief being able to trust your stylist in perfecting your hair. I also love the Oribe products they have recommended because it helps keep my hair looking healthy and shiny.

All the girls there are super friendly professional and cute to boot. The owners are awesome and very accommodating. I just go in for trims and the head massages to be honest but some of the before and afters I've seen while getting my trims done are astounding the girls here know what they are doing.

I don't know why this place is so expensive!!!! My teenage daughter went there for a basic hair cut and they changed $75 + Tips!! It seems a little over priced. Definitely will look elsewhere for haircut in the future.

I love this salon and Lauren Wheeler. I've tried other places with "better" prices, but the skill does not come close. I don't trust anyone else to color my hair. Best colorists! I happily drive 45 minutes and spend the money to have it done right the first time.

Over promises, under delivers. I've been here twice, and seen 2 different stylists. First stylist, did a competent job and threw around a lot of attitude. Second stylist did a very streaky skunky balayage.

I don't make reviews unless I feel truly inspired to do so. But being that I have naturally kinky, dense hair, I've been disappointed several times when going to other salons and left without the result I had hoped for, in color and styling (even when paying major bucks). I had been eyeing the Wheeler Davis salon for MONTHS before I finally set my appointment with Lo Wheeler about a month ago, it was absolutely more than worth the wait, and the money. When showing them pictures of what I was hoping for, they were beyond knowledgeable and helpful in deciding what we were going to do. Lo is truly a hair goddess- she was so precise in coloring my hair and knowing what would look best on me. I ended up with a foil/balayage combination done by Lia and Lo together, and I was shocked. Because of previous experiences I had with other salons when trying to get balayage or ombre done- I was convinced my hair couldn't go blonde...I was so wrong. My hair turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined, or had ever seen it before. I had no idea my hair was capable of looking like that- I couldn't be happier. I am so, so grateful and thrilled. If you are on the fence about trying out this salon or looking for a new permanent stylist, DO NOT HESITATE to make an appointment with Lo, or Lia Wetzel !!! They are truly as good as it gets.

Just had my hair colored and cut by April. Amazing doesn't begin to describe her talent. Highlights look so natural and fabulous. She truly cares about keeping your hair healthy and shiny.
