I had my first wax with Waxing the City today! The store is really cute and they have a nice variety of products, too. My appointment was with Maria K. and she was lovely; funny, nice, and she did a thorough job with my wax. I highly recommend booking with her whether it's your first wax or tenth!

I had Maria last week as my Cerologist for a Full Brazilian and she was amazing! So friendly, thorough and timely! I was out the door in 45 minutes. She made the entire session very comfortable, too! I will definitely be going back and would recommend her to anyone looking to get waxed!

I had went to LIV Aveda for a wax and left with patches of hair and wax burns up and down my legs… I then went here (Waxing In the City) to see if they could help me and they did just that!! Josie and the manager were so helpful, they of course got rid of my patches of hair that were left and helped me find great products that healed my wax burns from other salon. Love this place!

Maria Kruse was my cerologist and she was absolutely amazing! The environment was super welcoming too. I had 3 different waxes done during my visit and she was super professional and very knowledgeable about what she was doing. She made me feel very comfortable and the whole experience overall was amazing. Would definitely recommend going to visit her for your waxing needs!

Tayler did a great job on my full brazillian!! Very professional and is a sweetheart. She did a very good job and the pain was very minimal. Definitely will book with her again.

GO SEE JOZIE. It was my first experience with waxing ever and I have severe anxiety. Let me tell you this girl came through!! I felt so bad with all my body movements and how nervous I was but she was my hype man fs!! I would recommend her to LITERALLY anyone just not my enemies cuz she’s too good. ;)

I got a full face wax for the first time today and an eyebrow wax and it was all I could ask for! I was comfortable and Sabreena was very knowledgeable and knew what she was doing! Maria was great too! I left with a soft face 😍 Will be back again!!

I had a great experience at this salon. The salon is clean and the staff are welcoming. I did a full leg wax with Tayler. She did a great job explaining the process, after care and about the quality of the products she would be using. She answered all of my questions and was not pushy about trying to sell me products. She explained about their club orange program and why the program is a great deal if you are going to join the waxing world without making me feel like I had to join. I will definitely be back!

I love this place! I always see Alex for my waxes and he is absolutely wonderful. He is efficient, I never have any hairs left and he always makes me feel comfortable and is so friendly. Highly recommend!! And the membership program they offer is great and definitely saves you money with no strings attached.

I recently went to get a full face wax and I loved it! The staff was patient and welcoming along with showing me the bathroom! I had Tayler who did an excellent job talking with me and being consistent and thorough with the application of the wax. The service lasted about 45 mins- 1 hour. Only thing I wish to add was more after care and what it would look like after I was finished. I also forgot to ask about that but some tips of best after care would help next time! Overall great experience and I would book again.

I usually don't do reviews but this place was very clean, sanitary, welcoming, and overall just top notch. I was very impressed with the staff. They were all very knowledgeable, kind, and respectful. I definitely will be going back! If you are looking for a place that has good vibes this is the place to go!

I would definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back! Tayler was awesome, so friendly, and made my first brazilian wax good. I won’t lie it definitely hurts your first time but I’m hoping to brave it out and return to try it again as they say the pain gets less and less the more you do it. However I have a low pain tolerance so hoping to build it up! Regardless she was fast, informative, and my skin down there is super SMOOTH, CLEAN, and feels amazing!!! No bumps or anything it feels so gooddd! I definitely want to try it again!!!

For everyone who is wondering, They use hard wax. Personally, I’ve used soft wax at Liv Aveda and it is painless and quick, but this was the most painful waxing experience ever. I wanted to stop half way through it. It didn’t even get all the hair , there were several strands of hair because the staff said they were too short still? Glad first time was half off because I’m not coming back. One good thing I’d say about that place, is the staff member was amazing !

I definitely give this place a thumbs up. The staff are courteous and very professional. The place smells good and is very inviting. This is the most professional place to get your waxing needs done. The staff care about you and your skin. The staff will recommended before care and after care that suits specifically to your skin. They are not pushy either. I definitely will be going back there again and I recommended for anybody to go there male or female. Tayler did an amazing job and I felt extremely comfortable with her being as it was my first time there. I also love the fact they offer both soft and hard wax. I definitely prefer hard wax.

I never write reviews for anything but this is a matter of safety and it just really sucks to have had this experience. The gal (I honestly do not know what her name was) that waxed my legs was very nice, very knowledgeable. We had a good visit. When my session was complete, she left the room for me to dress and when I went to climb off the table, I fell because my feet were oily and I realized after the fact, that the table wasn’t lowered back down to its original position so it was a good 2.5 foot jump down from the height of the bed to the floor. I am 5 feet tall, perhaps this wouldn’t have happened if I had actual legs to reach but I don’t. Either way, an elevated bed should ALWAYS be lowered back down to its lowest position before a person can safely get off of it. I don’t feel like this is something that a person should need to think about before they climb off a bed. This is true in healthcare, that beds need to be returned to their lowest point. This here, is a business of maintaining our health (or should be) and I’m “too short” so I wiped out unexpectedly because there was a drop I could not reach because the bed wasn’t lowered like it should have been. To top this off, I went home and showered and had to shave my legs because multiple spots were missed. Right now, I just found another one while applying lotion. Glad that I got this service for half off since it was my first. I will not be retuning. And again I hate that I had to have this experience.

I had a great experience here start to finish! Everyone was so kind. I got my eyelashes lifted and tinted and it has changed my life! The cerologist, Tessa, was so sweet and did an AMAZING job. I also got my armpits waxed and that was just as amazing. My cerologist, Alex, was so gentle and thorough—he even did some extra steps to ensure the best outcome. I would (and did) recommend this place to everyone. You’ll be in good hands! :)

I had an amazing time here. Very professional too (i can also be picky as a cosmetologist but this place was awesome) The environment was really welcoming, fun and friendly. I appreciated the time of explainations, the greeting when I walked in and the connection the person made with me as a client. Sabreena was so kind and loved having her do my wax. Thank you again! My experience at this WTC location has been really great compared to other locations. Everytime I book an appointment, I am attended to very quickly! Services go by fast and you can tell that the workers put a lot of effort into their job (they pay attention to even the most tiniest hairs remaining). If you’re planning on booking an an appointment, you should book with Alex! He made me feel very comfortable, made sure I left with the greatest wax possible AND I left with more knowledge about waxing aftercare than I knew before!

Nicole did an amazing job! She introduced to me to hard wax which was great for my sensitive skin. She was very friendly and laid back while remaining professional! The other staff I interacted with was equally as amazing! Will definitely go back & I would definitely recommend!

Space is clean and sanitary. Staff are professional and educated about all services. They are also easy to talk with. Products are amazing and if you're part of their club orange membership you get a certain discount off of products!
