Called the 23rd of December hoping they would have space same day and they squeezed me in 🥹 I needed a root touch up and walked out with overall color toning + face framing cut. Alex was AMAZING. First time here and it won't be my last! I live in Puerto Rico and I love that I now have a landing spot for my hair needs in LA! Leticia is super amazing too! Love love love it here 😁

I was in LA on a business trip when my husband encouraged me to find an organic or non toxic salon that can make my natural salt and pepper hair look whiter and brighter. I live in NY and most places have turned me away and or they aren’t chemical free. They usually will suggest I go “BLONDE”. I have been chemical free for the past few years so the amount of chemicals in hair care has led me to neglect my hair . I called on a Saturday hoping they would have room for a cut and color blend and possibly a non toxic Keratin treatment. They accommodated me with an afternoon slot. Leti and Alex assessed my hair. And they were confident of how to execute everything I wanted in the short visit to LA. The TEAM IS OUTSTANDING everyone Leti, Alex Marlene and Maya (WHO GAVE ME THE BEST HAIRCUT in 10 years) all brought my hair to an amazing stage I thought id never see again. My hair is rough and course and it doesn’t MOVE it just looks like a helmet when I blow dry it. It has NO shine and I always keep it back. At this moment I was just in shock and so excited… I was there until they CLOSED and they even picked my sushi order as I didnt anticipate to me there from 12pm-8pm at the last minute on the final stage of my hair. It was a drop yellow. I asked if we can maybe get it out somehow and I suggested maybe to tone it a little, Leti wasn’t sure if it was the right thing, I saw it on her face, but She agreed that it maybe can use a little adjusting. I was sure it would do the trick, Well it made it way too dark and the perfect color and effect I had was gone but I will tell you it was my suggestion and I was happy to except it. So I left knowing that in a month after a few washes my hair would be more or less what I wanted. What I didn’t know is I kept Leti up all night hahah She was contemplating how they can fix my color. While I didn't know this, I woke up in the morning looking at my color and realizing I might have to buy something to put in my hair to maybe blend this color. I called the Salon at 8am when they opened and it didn't even ring, Peter answered the phone and I said Hi is Leti there? He said Hello? I said Hi is Leti there? He said yes may I ask who’s calling? I said its Mary. He excitedly said are you Mary from yesterday! I was just calling you when can you come in today Leti wants to fix your color. She told me ALL about you and said she didn’t sleep knowing you didn't get the color you wanted. I was in shock. I was like what? To think this person could have said it is what it is. Not my problem. She honestly wanted me to come back and have the team take a stab at getting it right. They moved things around because I only had the morning. And ALEX graciously as gently as he can stripped the color out and blended the colors beautifully once again. I think the stripping process and recoloring process may have done a toll on my Keratin treatment. As you can imagine. So the texture of my hair isn’t as incredible as when they first did it. But it truly isn’t their fault. The entire team made me feel welcome definitely not rushed. Just like I was apart of the crew. We laughed and talked it was really a wonderful experience and my hair through all that process came out amazing a few deep conditioning treatments and Ill be good as gold. EVERY-TIME I am in LA . NO one is touching my hair except the team at Vive Organic Hair Salon. All of you were truly invested in my outcome for a nerdy girl from New York who hasn’t done her hair in MANY MANY years. You gave it life all over again. Thank you again for holding integrity for your work. I pray it brings you further than you can ever expect. Best of luck on this new Salon. Everyone should make it their business to support Leti and Alex’s salon! I will follow up with photos when I get home from my trip as I am still on the road and didn't come with a hair straightener. I didnt think I would be doing my hair!

This was hands down the best haircut I’ve ever gotten in Los Angeles. From start to finish, the experience was fantastic. The team was incredibly attentive, taking the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. They paid such close attention to every detail, making sure everything was just right. I really appreciated how generous they were with their time and effort—they genuinely put in the work to achieve my desired style. The blow dry was also spot-on, leaving my hair looking exactly how I’d envisioned it—sleek, polished, and perfect. I couldn’t be happier with the result. If you’re looking for a place that truly listens and delivers exceptional service, I can’t recommend them enough!

Booking an appointment is easy! Once you get there, they offer drinks and snacks before you start your appointment. I had my hair done by Alex! She’s amazing! Just showed her a picture of my inspiration and it came out well. She would also always ask before doing something different if it’s okay to do that action - other hairdressers don’t ask and just cut (not from this salon)! I had plain long hair! Also added the 3 inspo photos for the haircut

Walked into this place on a whim and left with the most gorgeous, healthy and original color. Alex trimmed the ends as a thank you—thank you Alex. I have not been this pleased with a Los Angeles style in forever. Will absolutely make this my new salon.
