It is my first time here. I booked a 90 minutes combo body and foot massage. Rebecca let me soak my feet for 15 minutes and then left me more than 5 minutes to change and settle in. At the end she told me all the "prep-time" is included in the 90 minutes massage. So the actual massage time is 70 minutes. I get massages very often and never came across a place that runs things this way. I let her know that I wish they has told me beforehand, to which she has no reply. She proceeded to tell me that tip is at least $15, now, I usually leave big tips, it's just her tone has rubbed me the wrong way. Tips are NOT mandatory and the amount of tips is based on whether or not the client is happy with the service. I still left a tip, but I will not be back.

I have been here a total of 9 times. The last time I actually had an issue with the with massage and the owner Abby contacted me right away after I expressed how I felt about the experience and she made it right which is what I call 5 Star customer service! Rebecca is literally the best massage therapist there and she works Sunday-Friday so make sure to request her to ensure you have the healing massage that you need. Rebecca knows reflexology and acupressure so she can actually massage the spots on your body that need the most support! They have a foot soak that is made of herbs but don't drink it its not tea despite the look of a tea bag. Overall my experience here has been good and the one time it wasn't it was resolved quickly so I highly recommend going here for therapeutic massages with Rebecca!

I just had a body massage, and a facial. I feel wonderful. I don't hurt, my muscles feel really. The masseuse was very skilled. The facial did wonders for me. This facility is very clean, and a pleasant environment. I will be back. I'm very impressed. I also want to add they are very good about appointments, their prices are quite good.👍😸 This is 08/1/2023 Before I went to vital day spa I had a lot of back , hip pain. I was on three different kinds of pain killer, and Voltron. Most of it was not very effective, and the side effects made me feel even worse. They have skilled professional masseuse . Jerry is a fine professional masseuse, he understands how to alleviate pain and realign back muscles . Excellent! I come in for a full body massage twice a week. I no longer take any painkillers. I am truly thrilled. I am pain free. I cannot recommend this place enough. . 8/12/2023 I came in with a really sore back, and I was kind of depressed. I had a full body massage by Jerry for 90 minutes. The sore back and shoulder pain was gone. Then I had a full facial. I look younger. My skin is happy. I feel wonderful and relaxed thank you.Vital day spa is a great place. I use to take pain medication fory back 11/23 . I feel the skilled massage that I get at vital day spa has helped ease and stop pain. The masseur Jerry is very skilled and caring and needs recognition for being a super good masseuse. I am happy to recommend this fine establishment. Thank you. 3/1/24 This is a great place for a good healing massage. Vital day spa is clean, pleasant, with wonderfully skilled masseuses. I had Mike give the massage this time. He is very good and gentle. I feel so good after and my backache is gone. Very good! I will be back

Best massages around locally and cant beat the prices. They are always available when i call day of and always get the knots out no matter how bad they are. Love their friendly service i sometimes take my boys and they love it

I tried this place for the first time because I was having upper back pain and stress in general. I paid for 1 hour full body massage and it was wonderful. Definitely will be returning!

Massage therapist was outstanding. Walking on back and finding my knots and working them out with deep pressure was something only an experienced professional could accomplish.

My daughter and I got facials. Our tech was VERY thorough and nice. She gave us after care instructions and suggestions for my daughter on when to return, because she struggles with chronic acne. We will definitely be back!

My sister recommended them . They knew exactly what to message. My feet have always bothered me. I'm on dialysis so I get cramps occasionally they knew exactly what to rub to make better

This has been the worse experience I ever had, never again coming to this place. First of all they expect a tip more than $10 also the massage was not relaxing at all. I shared a room with my mother and felt really uncomfortable since they were talking during our massages session and also laughed. Never again don't recommend at all! Horrible!!! No relaxing music and the service sucked! My massage was not even a hour session and the lady was being so rough! Also forgot to mention they sexual harassed me during my massage, massages my butt more than my whole body. Felt really harassed I will be reporting this to San Leandro police. According to the Labor Code 351 LC it is ILLEGAL to request a tip. Specially if the service provided did not meet the expectations. As a paying customer it is a luxury to get a massage as to why IM PAYING FOR THE SERVICE. I’m glad you stated that you ILLEGALY REQUIRE tips from customers. Which again is against the law. Will hear from you soon.

Would not recommend this place...most of the massage therapists are not highly skilled and have poor technique. Have found my experiences to be rather painful than relaxing.
