I had my eyebrows waxed by Alejandra and plan to try a lamination and tint during my next visit. She took the time to educate me about the process, answered all my questions, and made me feel completely at ease. Her studio is beautifully designed, spotless, and she’s incredibly friendly!

I got my brows waxed, tinted, and laminated yesterday for the first time and I will absolutely be back! I’ve had my brows laminated many times by different people but my experience with Alejandra was the best. Alejandra instinctively knew exactly what I wanted. She tinted my brows lightly, shaped them naturally, and my brow hairs are truly laminated. Folks in the past have been unable to get my brow hairs all the way relaxed and to lay flat since they’re a little curly and unruly. Alejandra definitely knows what she’s doing! And she worked quickly. She’s easy to talk to as well.

Alejandra at Velvet Bee is awesome! I have been going to her for almost 10 years. I will never go to anyone else for waxing. Her space is lovely and inviting and she is always friendly and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Velvet Bee!

This is the best waxer I have seen, and I’ve seen a lot. You book your appointment online, an eyebrow was has you in and out in less than 10 minutes. Very clean, and always an excellent job.

Alejandra is amazing! I have gone to European Wax Center and Nude Waxing Beautique before, but prefer her service overall. :-) She makes waxing as painless as possible, and is efficient in the hair removal process. Plus she has great commentary, what's not to love.

I really enjoyed my visit to Velvet Bee Wax! Her room was decorated really beautifully, clean and relaxing. I was in and out in 10 minutes with no pain!! I’m never going back to the chain waxing centers (EWC, WTC, etc). I’m sticking to this local business for sure. Give her a try, you won’t regret it.

Seriously the most gentle waxing experience of my life! Super convenient location between Publix and Harris Teeter, so you can run to UPS and get your errands done at the same time. Highly recommend this place--beautiful facility--and Alejandra is wonderful!

The location, at first, was a little confusing. Just so you all are aware, there is essentially a co-op of little salons and personal care grooming here. Get buzzed in and taken to the Velvet Bee room. Alejandra will make you feel comfortable and welcomed very quickly. She's a knowledgeable aesthetician and does great waxing work. Support local. Go to Velvet Bee! 🐝
