If I could give 100 stars I would! Araceli was incredible. I have struggled with stress related hair loss and hair thinning. She was empathetic and helped match extensions to my hair. Her pricing was reasonable and the service was next level. 10/10 would recommend this location, they will treat you like family and make you feel so good about yourself!

So typically i don’t write reviews good or bad. But i shed some tears as i left today. I scheduled a hair cut (basic visit) figured we would discuss all the things i wanted and the price would go from there. I got there before the scheduled appointment time and they told me the girls haven’t showed up yet. Totally fine.. they did speak to me in Spanish a few times (which is totally fine!) i told them i don’t speak Spanish. They asked me what i wanted…which was a hair cut? Because that’s what i booked. They kept telling me 5 more minutes and the girl will be here. Ok again, totally ok. A lady told me ok this girl is going to shampoo my hair while we wait for the girl. Ok, so we go to shampoo and while they are shampooing they say oh she just got here! Great! The lady that is shampooing takes me to her chair. It felt like there was a language barrier and proceeds to ask me if it’s ok if she cuts? And that’s where it all went downhill. I had imagined we’d go over what kind of cut i wanted/ style. No one had come to offer any assistance with translation, which would have been fine with me so we could talk about the type of hair cut i wanted. Whatever happened to the girl that was coming to cut my hair? No clue. After she cut my hair she asked me if i wanted layers. at this point i was totally checked out. I have never been to a salon where we don’t discuss hair before we move forward with anything. I felt like i didn’t matter. The 45$ service i booked turned to $65. To trim my ends off. With no style no nothing. I feel bad i didn’t tip because it’s not the ladies fault. My appointment was at 9, i didn’t shampoo until probably 9:15ish and i was at home by 10:00. Never in my life have i been to a salon and this was the sequence of order. I’m going to stick to the girl i go to because the way i felt when i left i don’t want to experience again.

Make up was amazing!! And we loved our hair as well ❤️ my only problem is they need to be clear on the price updos are listed as 70$ does not say starting at 70$ I was charged 120$ it is what it is. Yes ! I was happy with the service and I had the $$ to pay but if people put a specific amount aside and then get hit with a higher price at the end it can cause issues.

1st timer, and they didn't disappoint! The whole crew was very nice from the moment you walk in!! Maria is amazing, she is very knowledgeable and my hair is what I'd wanted for such a long time, finally found a place to call my for all my hair needs. Maria, a HUGE Thank You - Gracias!!!

I have waited almost a month since my experience to post this review because I know what the effect it can have on a small business. However, after much thought, I must. I was treated disrepsectfully as a customer, twice, and my highlight and color were poor. Please know, I feel confident the owner knows how to process hispanic hair, but not caucasion. I felt the vibe and should have known better, but proceeded. I learned my lesson and want to prevent a bad experience for others. Also, I called to ask if I could reschedule my appointment from noon to 1 or 2. I was told no, 12:30 was the latest the owner could schedule. I showed up at 12:30, was asked to come back at 1:30 because she was working on a client and had a cut before me. I came back at 1:30 and she started on me at 1:45. Not good. Then, she did a poor job on both my highlight and color and I asked if I could schedule a 'melt' the following Friday to fix the work. No problem. Scheduled. Then, the day of the appointment, a child called (the same one that rescheduled my earlier appointment from 12 to 12:30), and said she needed to cancel my appointment and asked if I wanted to reschedule for another day. Not acceptable. Just trying to save you the aggrevation.

Gave me the wrong hair cut she cut it more then what it was suppose to be cut never going back again called to see if I can get my money back but Manager said she can’t because I left a bad review and saying I didn’t give a chance to fix the problem I don’t see how u can fix a problem when the hairstyle cut off all my hair

OMG! I had hair that goes all the way to my waist for months, my old hair stylist quit answering my messages so I finally decided to try a new place (her loss). I came here because it’s new and it’s very close to home and their prices are fair. My hair looks amazing! Maria too such good care of me! I found my new place and will never look back! They offer many other servers too, I’ll have to try them soon!

The BEST experience ever! The workers stayed open an HOUR AND A HALF extra to help with a last minute, terrible hair dilemma I was having. Could not have been nicer!! Will be returning for sure.

I live near the studio and the thought to walk in always crossed my mind. So I took a chance on a new place after so many years of not going somewhere for a haircut. Not only is the studio so beautiful, everyone is super welcoming and Araceli is honestly the best! I have super natural curly hair and she gave me the best curly haircut ever; to top it off she even had it blown out to complete the cut so I am able to style it straight, amazing! 10/10 for Vanguard Hair Studio from me ✨ I will definitely be coming back.

It was a pleasure visiting the new Vanguard Hair Studio in Fort Worth. I am very picky when it comes to haircuts and I have to say, I love this place. The owners are super friendly and helpful along with their amazing staff. Super cute, fun and clean salon. The attention and care you will receive is something to talk about, very attentive and understand your hair care need’s. I live about 30 minutes away and it’s always worth the drive. I am a customer for life.

Lo peor de lo que me a tocado pasar fui por un “tratamiento intensivo “según RATACELY 💇🏻‍♀️y ella muy buena Honda me recomendó un baño de color a mi cabello (aclaro si traía crecimiento y canas ) y yo acepté su recomendación 😱😱😱ooohh ERROR terminé con dos colores en mi cabello y aun tuvo el descaro de cobrarme $150 dólares por el trabajo realizado

My hairstylist left to be a sahm, so I was on the hunt for a new one. I drove by and was intrigued so made an appt to fix a haircut a previous stylist messed up. Is it weird what sealed the deal was the head massage while shampooing? I had to fight falling asleep it felt amazing. I almost want to call just to make a hair washing appt.😂 I missed her name, but shes the sister of Araceli, and she actually listed to me on what I want. Gave me suggestions on her expertise, and my hair came out exactly how I wanted it. It does get busy, but justly be patient and you'll be happy with the services.

Very nice looking business, nice and friendly staff. Came in with a color correct and boy did they do wonderful. I have never had my hair look so good. Five star service. Will be back!

Aracelli and Maria did an excellent job. I've been to the cheap places like Sports Clips, to expensive places on Magnolia and downtown but, by far, Maria did the best cut. No gaps, no renegade long hairs, and every hair was perfectly cut. Aracelli cut my wife's hair and after numerous butchers, she did an amazing job. I'm very impressed and highly recommend. 👌

I had an appt. with the owner of the shop to get highlights, not only did she not do my hair I was passed off to 2 very young stylist that showed me pictures and I showed them exactly what I wanted. I did not get what I wanted. I wanted blond highlights and walked out with orange hair. I asked the owner what was she going to do to fix this and she said "We'll have to charge you more to do that" I explained I am paying you $200 for highlights and now I have orange hair. "My brother is getting married this Saturday and I can't go like this" she still insisted I would have to pay more! Now I have called for a receipt on services they did the girl I spoke with said she would get back with me tomorrow. I have called 3 times to find out about my receipts and they have blocked my number. I just think people who are thinking about going there DONT you will certainly regret it.

This salon is EVERYTHING! When I left my hair stylist today I wanted to cry. I called vanguard and they got me in immediately and fixed me! Seriously had a bright a$$ red streak in my hair from going brown to blonde when I showed up. It was awful! These ladies got me in and fixed my hair! Come here! You won't be sorry!
