I have been going to Vanessa for almost five years now. Every time I leave her salon I am incredibly happy with the results. She takes the time to carefully listen to what I am asking for, and gently steers me in another direction if her expertise indicates that what I want is not something my hair type will do. She is a professional in every sense of the word and is more than a hair stylist, she is a hair consultant. I wish I could rate her with ten stars! She is the best!

Before even arriving at the salon, Vanessa was put time and effort into getting to know my hair coloring history and my goals and vision for both cut and color. A week before the appointment, she reached out via email to ask for photos of my current hair and descriptions/inspo pics of what I’d like. At my appointment, we talked at length about what was possible given my hair type and part placement. As a first-time client, all of the consultation and communication was huge. At the end of the appointment, she made note of the exact mixes she used for my coloring for future appointments. My hand-painted balayage looks incredibly natural and my cut is exactly what I asked for. She even offered a complimentary dry hair touch up on the cut if I decided I wanted one in the next couple days - I can just find some time to pop in with her and she’ll make the edits. It was great to be able to get a time with her during the week outside of my 9-5 working hours too.

I started with Vanessa in May of 2022. I came in having box dye, bleach, and brown on top and completely dead…. dead hair. Vanessa and I came up with a plan to strengthen my hair and grow it out before we dyed it again. My hair is healthy from where we started over 1 year ago and I’m finally happier with my natural color again! I’ll always continue with Vanessa, her prices are reasonable and affordable for the services I receive! I would love to maybe do extensions one day or maybe even go back to blonde. Vanessa doesn’t lie to you, she gives you honest advice and education while you’re getting your hair done, but her scalp massages are to die for, my favorite part always!

I highly recommend Vanessa! I have been going to Vanessa for many years (lost count of exactly how many) for cuts, highlights and balayage. She is always attentive, thoughtful and takes the time to make sure she understands what I am looking for each and every time I see her. She is open to feedback and clearly puts her clients' needs first. She seems to really enjoy her work, and she is always educating herself about new techniques and products. She's also just an enjoyable person to spend time chatting with while she does your hair!

I booked an appointment with Vanessa and then, after a long wait of 2 months, and at the same day of the appointment, at her salon, she informed me that my appointment was cancelled. Imagine how irresponsable and disrespectful was her behavior. She did not take less than 1 min. of her time to inform her customer she cancelled their appointment. Not a professional behavior, I guess. In her cancellations policies you can find that if you miss the appointment she will charge you a 50% of the work she was supposed to do. But what happens when the one that missed the appointment is not the customer but the professional? Who pays the time that customer invest going to her salon and also the opportunities lost waiting for her during 2 months? Highly unsatisfied with the customer service! Not recommended at all.

I found Vanessa at another salon after moving to a new town and have followed her for years!! I love her current location! Vanessa books one client at a time so you have her undivided attention. She spends the time to understand exactly what you want and helps set realistic expectations for what she can achieve with your color and cut. Last year I got extensions with her and the color match and application were flawless! I absolutely trust her with my hair!!

I found Vanessa through mutual friends on Instagram and fell in love with her work. After my first appointment with her, I was hooked and I have never looked back. She listens to me and what I want but she keeps things realistic when it comes to what we can achieve with my hair color and hair type. She is as authentic as they come. She is also very kind. I'm new to Boston and saw Vanessa to get my hair highlighted and have extensions removed. I've had some kind of hair extensions in for the past three years but have been trying to transition back to my natural hair and it's been a journey! (if you know, you know) Vanessa was so great, knowledgeable and friendly! She made me feel so comfortable and her blonde highlighting skills are top notch! I've followed Vanessa through two different salons and am still with her now that she's on her own. She ALWAYS runs exactly on time, she's quick and efficient, and she does a great job with my hair. She's great about discussing what the best - and most cost effective - approach is for whatever hair problem I'm trying to solve, and she even let me know when she saw a potentially problematic spot on my scalp. I feel really taken care of with Vanessa. She's also a sweetheart and fun to chat with. Can't recommend her enough!

I’ve been a client of Vanessa’s for a few years and I’m so grateful to have found her! She is by far the best hair stylist I have ever had. She takes the time to listen to you and asks questions to make sure she gives you exactly what you want. She’s always friendly and makes you feel welcome. Her salon is clean and tidy. But most importantly my hair always looks amazing when I leave! In the past I’ve had problems with hairdressers cutting too much off and I’ve never had this problem with Vanessa. Highly recommend her salon! Also she cut and prepped my extensions for my wedding and made step by step instructions for the hair stylist doing my wedding hair. I have been impressed ever since!

Vanessa is one of the most talented colorists and stylists I have ever met. When I first went to Vanessa she spent time to ask me my goals and explained how she would achieve those goals. She also was able to explain maybe why I was not seeing what I wanted with other stylists. Vanessa gave me the color I’ve always wanted but never was able to achieve. And the best part: she is consistent and delivers amazing color every single appointment. I’ve never had that with other stylists. I’m so thankful I found Vanessa! Highly recommend.

Words can’t describe how awesome Vanessa is. She truly cares about each and every client she deals with. When I first met Vanessa my hair was such a heavy foil and costing me a lot of money. Vanessa has worked with me to fall in love with my natural hair color which I haven’t seen in over 10 years. Not only is it much more affordable but also allowing me to still have blonde in my hair without breaking the bank. If your looking for a new stylist she’s your girl!
