Keke at the front desk needs to be fired. Nasty attitude, terrible service, argumentative. Just ridiculous. It was my first time trying this salon and I won’t be back. However, I will be sharing the experience with my 14k TikTok followers. Be careful who you treat badly. Some people planned to post about you.

I had a technician named Kimberly do my pedicure, the whole time she keeps trying to up sale me and I get it but after 3 No’s she just wouldn’t stop. Tried to force me to get acrylic on my toes which I despise since I got it once and it turned my toe nail black, no offense to anyone but it’s not for me. Another woman did a great job on my nails but Kimberly proceeded to keep interrupting her asking about me and rushing her, it was very weird. I’m thankful she took her time anyhow and she’s done the best job I’ve ever had done on my nails. I’ve been coming here since I just moved to Charlotte and it’s close by, but I’m trying my hardest to find somewhere else to go. The atmosphere is nice but they are hit or miss with nails and Kimberly was just the last straw for me. It was rude, unprofessional, and I felt the most uncomfortable ever since visiting here.

I don’t usually leave reviews but here we go. Provided a reference photo of what I wanted and it was not executed to my liking. My nail bed/fingers has product around and under them. Spoke with receptionist twice (2 separate days) over the phone who told me to just come back in. Waste of time. I get there, was told nothing can be done, I have to come back ANOTHER DAY so the original person can fix them. Why couldn’t they just tell me that otp the first time I called? Idk. Another thing, doesn’t seem like there is no communication. I’ve explained my situation 3 different times— no one is taking a name, info, nothing is being shared with manager for resolution it seems. So, I will have to explain once more to the original person, cause again, they are not communicating. I came to get a service, not my job to jump thru hoops just to have the service fixed. I gave two stars because the nail artist had a great personality.

This was my first time visiting Valentino Nail Bar for a manicure. The salon had a nice atmosphere, and overall, I was initially satisfied with the service. However, after leaving, I began to notice how deeply my nails had been filed into the nail bed, which left them feeling uncomfortable and sensitive. Unfortunately, this is not something I can overlook, and because of that, I will not be returning. My nail technician was Mary. I hope the salon takes more care in ensuring proper nail health for future clients.
