She was very nice! But when I was told my cut and color was gonna be 650 I was shocked. Ended up getting a cut for 150 which I think is also way too pricey, even for a curly cut. But she was very nice and understanding about the whole experience which I appreciated. Just know going in that you're gonna spend a lot of money.

I was totally open to whatever Jess thought would be a good cut and texture for my hair and she knocked it out of the park! This is truly the best cut I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot! It looks great curly or straight and is super fun to try different styles!

Jess is AMAZING! She is a beautiful soul inside and out. She made me feel comfortable right away, almost as if we’ve known each other our whole lives. Besides her joyful and charming self she is very knowledgeable in her profession. She made sure I knew every product she was using and why she was using it for my hair type. Totally feel like I was taken advantage of. Prices are so far above anyone else. 500 dollars with tip...as I always tip 20 percent. Got a cut and a root touch up. Walked out with the worst style and color. She never offered to fix it. She told me it was my own fault for now asking how much it was going to be. Expensive lesson learned.

This was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had getting my hair done. Jess was absolutely amazing and her energy is contagious!! I went in knowing only the color and a general idea of the style, and left with something even better than I could’ve imagined. I would go with her expertise any day. Unreasonable prices. Took advantage of someone. Sad and disgusting. Every salon Im the area including higher end salons said that there was no reason 2 hours of service with shoulder length hair cost almost $700. And you cannot justify it. To any sane person greed is disgusting.

I found urban vintage through a random google search after moving to the area and I am so happy I did! Jess is the owner of the salon and my hair stylist. It has been the best experience that I have ever had going to a salon. She not only cares about your hair, she cares about you. She has given me so many tips on how to properly take care of my hair! I can't say enough good things about this salon!!

I recently had a dramatic cut at another salon and it just didn't suit me. A friend recommended Jess, so I made an appointment. She totally FIXED it! She knew right away what I wanted and I left feeling like a new girl. She offered explanations for what she was doing and definitely knows her stuff! The other thing I noticed immediately was her positive energy. She made me feel comfortable right away, and I could tell she really listened... and she obviously LOVES what she does. Jess is the best! I get a cut about every 3-4 weeks and Jess always asks what I'd like done but I always just defer to her what she thinks I need and I've never been disappointed. She explains what she is recommending and why. It is easy to see that Jess cares a great deal about her clients. I've always left in a better mood than when I went in. I'm impressed with how Jess in the last year has managed to navigate Covid, relocate to a new space, and still offer a great experience. I won't go to anyone else in CR.

They take pride in their work and it shows! When I have the money, I take my twins here for their hair care, too. Also, it's the only place that hasn't messed up my five year olds hair, either. They are all awesome at what they do, but Jess, is very energetic and full of contagious happiness. I recommend going here if you want to look and FEEL good.
