I went today and got a 2 hour massage with Lisa. She is amazing and this was one of the best massages of my life. She listened to all of my requests and is a skilled masseuse. The price was extremely affordable and the location is ideal. I work on my feet and am very active so while stretching is more ideal, massages sometimes are necessary. Lisa did oil massage on my body, scalp, feet, and stretched me a little at the end. I'll be going monthly and maybe one day weekly if I can afford it. Thanks Lisa!

This is my third time coming to Urban Calm Spa - the first time was with Lisa who is amazing, and the last two times were with Cici. The deep tissue massages I’ve received, especially from Cici, were some of the best I had ever experienced. She is very attentive, strong and has incredible technique. She also effortlessly customizes the massage based on your needs and knows how to tackle problem areas. Their prices are also very reasonable, ie $5 if paid in cash, and $10 off on Tuesday and Wednesday. I’ve found my place - I feel like I’m floating on clouds when I leave. It’s hard for me to imagine going anywhere else for my massages going forward!!

Amazing price point for a deep tissue + hot stone massage. They get right to the point and get you on the table quickly. Be sure to review any injuries you have / areas to be careful with as their intake form isn’t super detailed. Be sure to remind your massage therapist of the hot stone add on as my boyfriend didn’t get his :(. Also - they offer a discount for paying cash but there were some language barriers that made getting change for tip challenging. Take the exact change you need for your service + tip. Rooms felt clean and I actually really liked the cut out in the table for the face to rest instead of the usually adjustable face cradle.

Disappointed with the place after looking at good reviews. I booked a couples massage, and even confirmed over the phone for it. However when I arrived they said they don't have any couple massage rooms available. This was disappointing as we were hoping to get a couples massage on New Years Day. The reason I am not giving them 1 star is that they accommodated us in a single room - not what I wanted and gave some additional discount. I never go tipless for massage but this time I decided to give no tip because of all the mess they created. Lucy gave me the massage which was decent.

I went for my first time today 12/27. Lots of time slots available. This was my first deep tissue massage too so I made sure to try and relax because I know that means they'll be getting in there and it hurts so good! Lisa took care of me. She has so much strength and is attentive and patient with how your body moves and flinches. I will be going back because I can feel the work she's done, isn't done yet. I do feel so much better already though, so thank you!

I went in there on New Year's day, on getting a recommendation from a friend to go check this spa out after realizing I was really sore in the back and legs.. Booked a deep tissue massage with Lisa, and she really worked her magic. Was given a chart of human body where we can circle places we want the masseuse to focus, and x's where to avoid, which was perfect to relieve some targeted soreness. She's really strong, and knows her way around the body & knots. Spent more than enough time on the back and legs, really getting through those pesky knots and also briefly went over the rest. Even though she speaks little English, I was able to communicate enough on what I wanted out of the massage, which gladly felt really fulfilling. Way to start the New Year!

Not good. It's dirty feels cheap. The carpet was full of stains, the facility itself is very worn out. It felt kinda like a sweat shop. My husband commented he had never seen so many therapists in one place. Um the massage was not good. It felt like the person was not actually trained. I wouldn't be surprised if you looked them up and zero therapists are accredited by the state. Worst and weirdest Massage I've received in a decade of getting them. The pressure was good but that was it. Felt chaotic snd just bizarre. Idk maybe it's because I'm used to getting massages from licensed therapists often in chiropractor, sports medicine and nice hotels. This was just bad. Also I have never ever been massaged on top of a sheet (which was very rough), had hot towels put down for a minute and then rough dry towels scrap my skin. I almost left 30 minutes in.. it was just so bad. I tipped because I felt guilt again got slum lord vibes. Creepy and dirty.

Poor technique - used a lot of pressure in places that were just bone like shoulder blades. Inconsistent and jerky pressure. Not relaxing at all.

Very professional. Beautiful and clean ambience. They give h a chart to map out areas u need attention and areas I don’t want to be touched. Worth every penny. I have gone a few days after getting a neck spasm and now my range of motion has defined increased. Communication is a barrier since English is not their first language, but they know their science well.

I really enjoyed my time at Urban Calm Spa! It's a no-frills spa that will work out any knot or tension in your body. I booked with Winnie, and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She focused on the areas I specified and was very intentional with her technique. If you need strong pressure, definitely book the deep tissue massage. I also added the hot stones (per a friend's recommendation), and it was worth it! For the price, you get exactly what you pay for! I’ll be making this a monthly ritual.

I went for my birthday and it was perfect! Lisa is incredible. Listens well and focuses exactly where you want her to, even if you aren’t vocal she understands problem areas. She has wonderful hands, technique and pressure. The facility is clean and well equipped. There are even ceiling bars for ashiatsu. All massages seem customizable to your liking. I will be back many times. Thank you so much!

I went in because I’ve been having really bad sciatica pain and I didn’t even have to tell Cece what the problem was. She just kinda found all the places which were causing me issues & worked them out. This was my first massage / deep tissue massage and I feel so much better now

Went there 2x while on a mini vacation. First visit was a couples massage. Soo good. Second was a solo visit and phenomenal. Recommend paying in cash. FORGOT to take pictures, but generally clean.

Winnie did such an amazing job with the ashiatsu massage. One thing to note, they give you a sheet to circle areas of your body that needs work, I find that they sometimes ONLY focus on those areas. Instead, I just told her I needed a whole body release, and the result was perfect.
