Don't place an online order for curbside pickup. Placing the order was easy enough and prices were good. Let them know when i was on my way, drove around the outside of the store a few times looking for pickup signs, but there were none, which should have been my first clue. Parked close to the door and waited 10 minutes after checking in and putting my location in the app. Finally went inside to pickup. A single cashier was providing extensive assistance to another customer while 4 others waited in line for another 10 minutes before someone else came to assist. Either they are seriously understaffed (based on the number of associates I saw walking around with other customers, I'd guess not), or they just don't care.

I went in to get my brows laminated and tinted and I was not disappointed! Anasia walked me through the whole thing and really put me at ease for my first time! She did an amazing job and really understood what I was looking for with the shape!

5 stars for Stephanie for doing a beautiful job on my hair!! ✨️ I want to apologize for writing this review so late - it has been on my mind the last few months but I never forgot, And I wanted to finally take solid moment to write this long overdue praise for Ms. Stephanie. I was visiting Mesa at the end of May to attend a wedding. I personally have no clue how to style my own hair and my sister in law and I decided to book appointments at this location. Stephanie fixed up my hair for me into a beautiful up-do. She took her time, used the products needed to make it look neat and kept in place. And she placed clips that I had brought with me to help make it stand out. I also want to commend her patience - she told me to not hesitate to let her know if I wanted anything different and was so kind and gracious. She really did a fantastic job. I had some really nice compliments on my hair at the wedding, and it held up all evening!! Thank you Stephanie! 😊 🥰

I went in because it is a makeup store that it should help me find makeup that matches my skin tone. I was then told that there was only one person on the floor and needed to wait for shift change. I then waited 20 minutes or so for a shift change. Watch five individuals walk in and no one came to help me. Then as checking out instead of doing the thing that they should have of helping me find said concealer I was told. Have a great day. I would get more help from a Target associate than I would from any of the associates here

EDIT to to update: [7/2024] if you try to give her another chance, she will make you remove your review before she proves herself and that she deserves it. Good reviews are EARNED when trust is broken. As a professional, an apology should be given and a 2nd chance to be welcomed to complete service to correct such a horrible experience that would deserve changing a negative review into a positive one. My review will stay up since she can't put her ego and pride aside to make up for what she did and provide GOOD service and for being dismissive of the trauma she caused and for wasting 30 minutes of my time sitting in her chair just for her to tell me to leave if I wouldn't remove my review first, without trying to correct the previous experience. ----‐----- [10/23 ] This is for the salon. DO NOT BOOK WITH BRITTANY C! she will do what she wants and in her words "doesn't like to listen to others". I went in for a fall color with shadow roots and after 7 hours, I had bright orange roots and the rest of my hair was the same as when I came in. I asked for 3 inches to be cut, she cut 12 thinking I wouldn't notice bc I have curly hair. She said she likes to cut until it's even and because I had my glasses off, I couldn't see what she was doing. The other stylists told the higher ups how much she had messed up, I didn't want to pay for something I didn't ask for and looked nothing like the picture I showed. They made me pay anyways and said to let her fix it, and no one was available besides her. I came back and she was trying to figure out how to fix her mess up. She saw I had a band before we started and ignored it so my hair was also really splotchy. I told her the only thing we could do was go black. I asked for the blue black or violet black if they had it. She got mad that I wanted to "change the color", she kept trying to force me to do red bc i went in the first time for "something different ". After we finished, they did end up giving me a refund because she gave me the color she wanted, and not the blue black like I asked for. She claims to have 19 years experience and that she should be a master stylists however it felt more like I was at a beauty school training salon. She's not friendly and very stand-offish. Being pregnant i really needed the confidence boost but I left there ashamed and embarrassed to be seen.

I have never been more disrespected and treated poorly by staff before. I am currently dealing with a disability and walk a little off. They were rude, and seemed to think I was up to something. I knew what I needed and didn't have to be followed or harrassed by the staff. Even though there is a location closer to my house, this location was convenient at the time. I clearly made a mistake, The staff there is Insensitive and bigoted. I still spent over a hundred dollars... I will never return to that location again. I would ask future potential customers to pay attention to that as well.

Is it normal for male customers to not be offered help? I swear the lady on the floor went up to every female customer asking if they wanted help but never did so with me, a guy. She passed me maybe 4x & didn’t ask if I needed help. I know, as a customer, we should approach them but it’s lowkey basic customer service to come to the customer. Superstition Ulta knows this

Update: This location really seems to have improved since first opening. Employees have been consistently helpful during my recent stops in. I'm also noticing more employee activity in the front of the store, which I think is great. The employees are great... at socializing with each other. This store is new. It looks very clean and organized. I saw some employees who did appear to be busy stocking items, so I don't mean to rag on everyone, but I didn't see one employee acknowledge myself, or any other customer. Customers were walking around the front the of the store looking for items, while the employees were hanging out at the back of the store, near where the checkout is. This layout is about the dumbest setup I've ever seen. Once a group of employees came to the front but still just continued to talk only to each other, I just put my stuff down and left.

This is second time that I chose curbside delivery and no one came out! I checked in (twice) provided all my info and no one came out within 15 minutes. I walked In and saw 3 employees chatting at the door. I said I’m here for curbside - she says would you like to get your order? Terrible terrible service! I would give this facility a zero if I could

Manager not helpful or considerate. I bought blush and 2 $25 gift cards. Then after paying they tell me there is an offer that you get $10 gift card if I buy 2 packgift card so i tried to exchange but they said i couldn't. Instead of just giving me a $10 gift card because "they can't return gift cards". They told me there is nothing they could do. They did offer me $10 off of purchace now but of course i already purchased what i needed. I guess i should have returned the blush and then re bought the blush. But i didn't want to deal w it anymore. The poor clerk was very nice though. I'll stick to the Ulta at Tempe. Much better customer service there.

They have a huge selection, but prices are pretty high. The clerk who helped us, Nicole, really knew the inventory and even made recommendations. She was great.
