Rude employees!! I went into Ulta to get my hair done, I had called a week before and made the appointment. The lady Tabitha said that the system was down and that she would put my appointment in. The day of my appointment I walk to the back and a lady asked me was I Tabitha's client and I said yes and the lady showed me to Tabitha's chair and brought me my water. They said Tabitha was on a break and we be in shortly. I'm sitting in the chair for about 5-8 minutes and two employees walked up and asked me what I was doing. I said I have an appointment and she asked me had I been checked in and I said yes. She asked my name and I gave it to her and she went to the computer and said there was no appointment for me that day. Then another employee comes and talks to me and she said she had a client coming in at 12:25 and she could get to my hair at 1:00 the same day. I said "yes someone is going to do my hair" and the employee who was not wearing a name tag smiled at me and tilted her head to the side and made a snarky laugh. So I did it right back to her. This employee said that she wouldn't do my hair and I said " That's fine because I'm not going to let you". She then went around to the front of the salon saying I was not allowed in the store anymore. I was walking to the front of the store and all of the Ulta stylists yelled out Byeee like a bunch of high schoolers. I went to the front and asked to speak to a manager and Lily was sent to talk to me. I told her I've been coming into this salon for years and I've never been treated so bad. I asked Lily who was the lady that was wearing no name tag and she said that it was Tabitha. I have called corporate on this store because the employees do not know how to act professional or dress appropriately, including the facial piercings. I will never go to an Ulta again. Sephora is so much better, the women that work there actually know how to act and treat a customer.

This was my first time ever getting my makeup done professionally for my maternity photoshoot. Tabitha made me feel so comfortable and she was so kind through the entire experience. She listened to what I wanted and everything turned out so pretty! She also curled my hair and it lasted all day and night! Which is a big deal for me, because my hair never stays curled for some reason. Overall my first ever experience was a great one and I appreciate her for her tips and patience with someone like me who knows nothing about makeup 🫶 thank you again!

Was there to make a quick purchase, in and out in less than 5 minutes, and was met with nothing but rudeness. Jerilyn was not only unfriendly but outwardly insolent while I was at checkout. Unfortunate that those in customer service don’t even have basic manners.

Worst experience ever. Tabitha pitch to fit about doing my hair. She took the appointment over. The phone said that the computer was down and that she was going to put it in later and never did. So I showed up to my appointment and I didn't have an appointment. I was then told that I'd have to wait until after the actually scheduled appointment for somebody else was over before I could even get my hair done. Also, the other women in there were very rude and acted and dressed very unprofessionally. I then went to a competitor Aunt. They saw me within 10 minutes of me leaving Ulta and my hair looks great.

Had a great experience in the salon! Went in to have my hair colored and added highlights. My last stylist turned my hair into shredded wheat-looked dry, yellow and had red tones (all of which I explained to that stylist that I did not want)! Tabytha was great! She really listened to me and fixed the problems I had and made me feel beautiful again ☺️. She’s amazing!!!

Usually a really good store ! Most of the workers are kind but today a young lady with dark hair and bloody knife earrings was extremely rude at the register. I said hello how are you and instead of being friendly she just asked for the phone number in a rude tone and rolled her eyes when we were trying to get our card to work, very strange usually the service is great here but she seemed really bothered to do her job :(

I had an amazing hair makeover with Lawrence, I Had read previous reviews complimenting on his expertise and talent! I was so impressed with his personality, his LOVE of doing hair, the time he took to listen to me, and to achieve the look I wanted. Look no further if you are looking for a new stylist, who will make you feel very special, he takes his time to make sure you are getting what you want. Great place! I'm not sure if any of you Californians from the Inland Empire area remember a place called Juan Pollo's, but if you had their rotisserie chicken, you'll remember how good it was. Well, the owners of this place and Juan Pollos are brothers, and the menus are exactly the same. But this place has Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menus. Try it, you'll like it!

Horrible customer service. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I booked an appointment for a hair trim at 12:00. So, I arrived at 12:00 and the lady who was supposed to cut my hair greeted me. Then says “we will have to reschedule your appointment”. I looked at her confused and asked why. She said “the customer before you booked the wrong service, so it’s taking too long”. I looked at her confused again because 1) there wasn’t a single sole getting a haircut that I could see & 2) if that is true, you would have known that you couldn’t cut my hair well before my appointment time and could have given me a call to let me know & 3) why is another customers mistake affecting my appointment (should have either made them re-book for that service, or declined whatever service they needed instead). So, I politely asked if anyone else could cut my hair. She walked around for a few minutes and came over with a manager. The manager rudely says “your appointment has to be rescheduled because something is wrong with our booking system”. No empathy whatsoever. No sorry. Just rudeness and a blank stare. I stood there confused once again because her reason was completely different from the other lady’s. I’m upset because I have a newborn at home, and literally have to plan out my days hour by hour on top of having someone watch my child. If I would have at least received a phone call even 15 minutes prior to arriving, then I wouldn’t have been upset. This stores customer service is absolutely horrible. I ended up going to the Castle Rock location and they were awesome! I recommend going there if you need your hair done!

Absolutely amazing work in the salon Lawrence is a miracle worker. I had the worst haircut done at another salon it was uneven very noticeable. I am leaving for a corporate event tomorrow and Lawrence literally saved the day! He is gifted. He knew just what I needed to shine. And even stayed late to fixmy color. He asks all the right questions and makes amazing suggestions. You leave looking better than you would think. Words cannot do justice he is a vibe and makes your time there enjoyable. Definitely recommend found my new stylist. My daughter's and I will be back. All staff was amazing sweet and kind as well the entire store is just great. Honorable mention Becca she is another stylist and was great to chat with as well they are a good team. . Best experience! LAWRENCE is a keeper!

First I want to say I always have a great experience when I go to get my hair fixed up from this Ulta Beauty at the Southlands. But my last visit just today with Lawrence has moved me to write a review. When I sat down in the chair, I explained what I was thinking I wanted to have done. Then he asked me what I had done in the past and what I liked about those particular treatments or haircuts. Then he made his recommendation explaining the why behind every thing he was suggesting. To achieve the look I was wanting to go for required a different approach than I assumed to get my hair to look and feel the way I wanted. But it was everything after that he did that really was above and beyond. You can tell he really loves what he does and the whole time he made me feel just amazing. He took before and after pictures (so fun). He is uplifting and just a joy to spent the time with. And when he was done, I was so tickled how good my hair looked. I felt like I was ready for a hair commercial! The cut hit exactly how I wanted it to look. The color literally made me love my eyes again! Thank you so much Lawrence!!

I saw a post of my niece’s hair on IG and asked who did her hair, she told me to see Lawrence at Ulta Southlands. I scheduled for a color and cut and Lawrence was amazing! I noticed how particular he was when he was applying the bleach in my hair, and midway process, he took the time to reapply bleach to some areas that didn’t lighten! I loved that he was a perfectionist. Most stylist will just put foil in, rinse, and call it a day, but Lawrence treated my hair with love and care! I love my cut and color!! Will definitely be seeing Lawrence again soon!

I came into this store looking for a new makeup foundation. Lilly helped me find the perfect match according to my skin tone and texture I was very impressed by her knowledge and her honesty why one color would not be my best choice. I went in looking for a perfume for an upcoming wedding and had no idea what I needed/wanted. Ashlyn took so much time with me to find the perfect scent and made the whole experience very pleasant. Normally I don't ask for help with these things but she made it more of a fun adventure than a stressful challenge. Definitely recommend this Ulta, great customer service!

See I would have given this store 5 stars. The service was fantastic. G, was great. Everything was great until checkout. Summer was the cashier, her and the girl with the colored hair kept pressuring me to give them a number or email even after I told them I am okay. It started light but towards about the 5th time of them telling me to sign up, they made me feel as if I had no choice. I felt uncomfortable because of these two. They made the whole experience turn sour. It is sad because Summer used to work at my old job and she was not this pushy. I understand that stores need to meet a certain number of people using their accounts but cmon. Train your employees to not be this pushy.

Tamia was so rude when I came to the store today. It was uncalled for and when I said I wanted a different person she got upset. The rolling of the eyes and the faces she was making is why I wanted another person. Control your face when you work with the public.

Olivia works magic on eyebrows! I’ve been going to Ulta to get my brows waxed for years…and Olivia is the best esthetician I’ve had so far! My brows have never looked better. She takes her time with face shaping and I appreciate that she’s a perfectionist. Highly recommend Olivia!
