It was my first time at Twisted Scissors Hair Studio and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile from Julia. Throughout my entire visit, the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Julia provided me with expert suggestions, and I was truly satisfied with the outcome of my hair. Use the same lady each time, no complaints. Friendly and makes sure I leave happy :) blended the color so well, and with minimal care it lasted a year and still looked good.

Maddie works magic every time I see her! She's so attentive and sweet and always turns my wild ideas into hair magic. I've never gotten so many compliments on my hair before I started coming here! Everyone is so welcoming it's a great vibe all around!♡

I got my hair done with Maddie and she was so accommodating to my requests and patient with everything I wanted, I'm pretty picky with my hair but she did great. Such a good experience, 10/10 recommend.

I had to wait a little bit for my appointment , but it was worth it. I explained what I wanted and Maddy who did my hair , was so knowledgeable and I felt really comfortable with her. Long story short 😉 I'm happy with the result. She did a balayage on the top and the side of my hair with a nice light blond. I will definitely coming back . Thanks Maddy , see you next time 😊

I booked an appointment with Ali for a balayage and she did an amazing job! I haven't coloured my hair in years so I was nervous but she was so knowledgable and professional. She made sure I felt comfortable the whole time. Super attentive and made sure I was satisfied at the end of the appointment. Everyone was super friendly, positive environment. *Curly Hair Review* I am the sort of person who is beyond nervous to go to a hairdresser for the first time. I have what hairdressers have told me a thin unique sort of curl, and I have been to many hairdressers of many different price points who claim to know what they're doing and always I walk out in tears. My hair was at the point that it needed some attention and I had just moved to Tsawwassen, so I looked on Google to see who could cut curly hair and twisted scissors hair studio came up with amazing reviews. I booked an appointment through Facebook for both myself and my boyfriend, was super easy they got back to me super quick I'm pretty sure I booked it on a Sunday night, so I was already off to a good start. Thanks to my boyfriend being so indecisive lol I called to make a change in the booking time and when I mentioned my concern about my curly hair they changed my artist (because truly cutting hair, let alone mine, is an art) to Ali. It's been over a week since I had my appointment, I only went for a trim to get rid of the dead ends and get my hair healthy. I am super happy. My hair still looks good and I feel like it's growing. I am able to wear it up which is what I do 99.9% of the time and 100% of the time that's why I'm was leaving a salon crying. I even wore my hair down to go Christmas shopping, shocking my partner who even commented how nice it was to see me wear it down. I have a colour booked for mid December and for once I'm not nervous but super excited. Thank you ladies!!

Ali is the best , most attentive hairdresser i have ever gone too. Highly recommend her to anyone that wants their hair to look killer everytime. She is not only talented but a total joy to sit with during your appointment.

I have been to so many hair salons and I finally found the perfect match. Julia did such an amazing job. She went above and beyond what I asked for. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she executed it exactly. Honestly it turned out even better then I asked. I will definitely be returning. Thank you so much!!!

Janae did low lights for me today to try to get me back to a low maintenance colour to match my real colour. She did amazing and I love that she brought me back a bit darker and still gave me lovely depth and shine. Also, she did not chastize me for my self haircut (maybe this means I have potential????). Either way my experience was amazing and I have found my forever hair stylist and shop! Sorry Janae, you are stuck with me forever!!!!!

Wanted to give this salon a try and got an appointment with Julia. Not only was she amazingly helpful in ensuring I got the exact color with all my quarantine root growth, she also didn't make fun of my self cut bangs I did with kitchen scissors during the wait for salons to reopen. The salon was clean and the everyone working there was friendly and seemed very kind. I will definitely be going back!
