Greetings! Every time i came here i am always SATISFIED :) Kendal does an amaaaaazing job with color. She did a balayage for me and omg it’s amazing! i’m so obsessed. She has the magic touch! And i go to Kami for my blower/haircut $ style. AMAAAZING! i am so impressed with their hard work and creativity. I don’t know what i would do without them :) they give me LIFE. 🤍

Very disappointed that you do not take Spa Finder cards! & your manager was very rude by saying we have our own cards, we do t need to take spa finder cards! Many places have their own cards and also take Spa Finder. Very unfriendly and nasty with her tone! The pedicure was great and the ladies at the front desk were very nice but you need a new manager!!!!!

Sarah did such a great job on suggesting what kind of hairstyle I should get since I was bored with my long hair. I love my new long bob. So many ways to style it. I now have a new stylist and she’s great! So easy to talk to and does great work.

I have been a regular client of my stylist for years. l've also enjoyed the spa on occasion and have been a loyal customer since the original salon ('80s) in Woodfield Mall. Tricoci's used to be an upscale salon. As soon as you walked in the door, you felt special. When they checked you in, they would walk you back to the dressing room, hand you a gown to change into so that you wouldn't get hair all over your clothing, then guide you to the waiting area. Due to many personal issues, I haven't been to Tricoci's in Orland for almost a year. I was shocked when I walked in today. Gone are the beautiful glass shelves displaying the Tricoci products, replaced by cheap aluminum black shelves. I felt like I was walking into Ulta, not a high-end salon. They checked me in and told me to "have a seat". No more gowns, no more walking you back. You just sat on the ugly upholstered benches waiting for your turn. No more fashionable black clothing for all the employees to be easily identified - one of the girls donned a cheap brown t-shirt. I guess now that Mario is no longer involved, they no longer want to be deemed as a luxury brand. I will still go to my stylist because I'm always happy with her work, however, I doubt I'll use them for anv other services. For their prices, you deserve the extra treatment. Without that treatment, I can go to the another spa nearby for much less.

Worst experience for male haircut. Wax service was perfect. My hairstylist was extremely rude, and when I asked to get more off the top she got another stylist who did not do it either. Left the place upset, and off to get the hair touched up elsewhere.

Great experience overall with this location. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I had a haircut with Kami. She is super sweet and friendly. I highly recommend you request Kami if you’re looking for someone who really knows how to cut hair. Great experience !

My Esthetician was Paris. The service was extremely calming and relaxing. The service was a hour but it flew past and was very enjoyable. Definitely recommend and will definitely be booking with her again! 10/10

Samya did an amazing job on my hair. I got it cut with a blowout. As soon as I took my long hair out of the bun I had it in it's like she knee exactly what to do. I highly recommend her.

I was here yesterday for my birthday massage and facial and had quite the mixed experience. It started with a tour to the Ladies Lounge (locker room), which was very clean. Here, you choose a locker and change into your robe and sandals. Then, I headed to the waiting area which is also the “quiet zone”. I overheard two employees talking to each other. One said “Maybe if we all line up and pretend to collapse, they’ll finally pay attention to us.” Were they talking about management? Between that and another employee standing around looking at her phone, it was an unprofessional setting. I had my 80-minute holiday massage with Nanis, and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Nanis introduced herself and shook my hand, then asked what problem areas I had. She really listened and focused on the trouble spots throughout the massage. She made sure I was comfortable and relaxed; it was a great experience. By the end, my shoulder pain was virtually gone. She met me outside of the room after the massage with water and booked my next appointment. After the massage was the 60-minute customized facial with Paris. Paris didn’t introduce herself, she just led me to the room and said “you’re getting a brightening facial”. This was before I even got on the table and had my skin examined. She never asked about my skin or what my concerns are. So how is any of that customized? It just felt like a generic facial, nothing I couldn’t do at home. No extractions, no explanation of the products used, no take home prescription like the website description said. But the best part was when she applied a mask that was supposed to sit for 15 minutes. She told me “this will sit for 15 minutes” and just exited the room! I couldn’t believe it. She didn’t once ask if I was comfortable with the heated table I was laying on, and I started to burn up shortly after she left. She didn’t turn the bright light off when she left, so I was bored and looking around the room - only to see an open bag of potato chips sitting behind me. She finally came back, and I quickly asked her to turn down the heated table. I was really frustrated that this was wasted time that I’m paying for during a facial - at least use this time to monitor the client and massage the head/neck/arms - something! There was zero massage during the facial. When it was done, I came out of the room, and she was no where to be found. No water, no thank you, no help back to the locker room. Just gone. Checkout was seamless, but after I paid, I looked up, and the front desk person was gone! Again, no “thank you”, no “have a nice day” or “happy new year”. She just disappeared. This used to be the “it” spa in town, and it just doesn’t feel like it anymore. I might be back for a massage, but the customer experience really turned me off to this place.

Scheduled a massage and facial before the holidays to unwind and relax-the massage with Syrina was wonderful, 5 stars. The facial was rushed impersonal. I was reminded two times this was an express facial and I should have booked a custom -wasn't aware I didn't until this. I paid $100 to have someone wash my face and irritate my skin. The mask the esthetician put on gave me a severe reaction ( I have had a significant amount of facials and have never experienced something like this before) but she wouldn't have known because she immediately left the room without asking how it felt only to come back ten minutes later and scrub it off my face. The atmosphere was loud, I heard the other employees outside my door and a heating vent that sounded like a train was running through the room-which was so small my feet were touching the wall while laying on the esthetics table. I would not recommend facial services there both due to the ambience and imo it doesn't seem like they're cautious enough or skilled enough to know the clients skin-as a result of this facial my face is extremely red and painful.

If I could give negative stats I would… Absolutely disappointed and upset with my hair cut. This will be my first and last time will ever come here to get my hair cut. I scheduled myself for a little spa day of a Haircut, Blowout, Conditioning treatment and curl. Get there and was called back. Was asked what I was there for… Told her the services I booked and expressed that I LOVE MY LONG HAIR (my hair was to the middle of my chest), & that I need to be able to put it in a pony tail due to my work and that I wanted 2.5” of dead ends cut off with some LONG layering to frame up my face a bit. Was instantly ushered over to the wash bowl where it was the shortest & quickest hair wash of my life. Honestly I don’t think I got the conditioning treatment. After the my hair was washed went back to her station, sat down was not even given the courtesy of detangling spray like everyone else I saw got and hair was pretty aggressively brushed out. She proceeded with the cutting, blow drying my hair. When it came time to curl my hair she didn’t even have a curling iron and had to go find another hair stylist to ask if she could borrow their curling iron. She curled my hair and then I left the salon after a total of 50 mins (checking in, hair services and paying included in that time). Few days later I took a shower to wash out all the product in my hair from getting it curled and that is when I realized the laying I asked for WASN’T LONG. I have pieces of hair that ls cut all the way up to my CHIN!!!! And my hair cut looks BUTCHERED!!! It doesn’t blend at all. I’m not a happy camper. How does 2.5” off the bottom and long layering turn into cutting “layering” my hair in a short butchered cut.

MY SECOND TIME VISITING THIS LOCATION AND I WAS TREATED WITH RESPECT EXCELLENCE UPMOST LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM BY EVERYONE AT THIS LOCATION. THE PLACE IS CLEAN. THE BATHROOMS ARE ALWAYS FILLED WITH TOILETRIES FOR CUSTOMERS AND GUEST. ANGELA WAS THE ONE WDID MY PEDICURE (ALWAYS GET THE LUX PEDICURE TREATMENT/THE BESTS $$$$$) AND I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE WORK SHE DID ON MY FEET. MY SPA PERSON WAS A LADY BY THE NAME OF DEE (ESTHETICIAN) WHO WAS PLEASANT DID A WONDERFUL JOB ON MY WAXING. I LIKE GOING TO THIS LOCATION BECAUSE IT IS CLOSER TO ME AND THERES PLENTY OF PARKING. I WILL PROBABLY BE RETURNING IN THE NEAR FUTURE - VERY THANKFUL.

Blake has been cutting my hair for 10+ years! He is the only one I trust with my long hair. He gives me his professional opinion on what to cut to maintain healthy hair, but takes into consideration of me wanting to keep as much length as possible. 10/10 recommend ❤️

Had the BEST experience getting my hair cut by Blake. He was friendly, professional, and made sure to do a thorough consultation so he could give me exactly what I was looking for. I can’t remember the last time I got a haircut and left 100% happy with the result before this. I HIGHLY recommend seeing him, he is truly a master at his craft and you can tell he enjoys what he does. Can’t wait for my next hair cut, thank you Blake!!!

I had an AMAZING hair cut experience yesterday with Samya! I have recommended her to so many of my friends already...! It's been less than 24 hours. Samya just knew my hair and what it exactly needed. She had great relatable conversation with me, made me feel comfortable with my haircut and teaching me how to curl to recreate at home. She was just amazing and I have already booked my follow up haircut in a few weeks. It's hard to find good hair artists and I am just so glad I took a very last minute, walk-in chance and met Samya! Truly felt meant to be!

Update: I was contacted by someone from the corporate side of Mario Tricoci and was given a gift certificate for $50. I don’t find this satisfactory and I will not be going back to Mario TRICOCI. I’ve been a client of Mario Tricoci since they only had their Oak Brook location, so I expected a much higher level of professionalism. I booked a makeup appointment for my son’s wedding day, only to have it canceled just two hours before the scheduled time. For such a large brand, I was shocked to learn they only have one makeup artist on staff, and there was no manager on-site when they canceled. Their policy states that clients must give at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations ‘out of respect for our staff,’ with charges applied for late cancellations and no-shows. Yet, it’s clear they don’t extend the same respect to their clients. Extremely disappointed—this is not the quality of service I expected from Mario Tricoci, especially on such an important day.

I had my hair done by Samya for my son’s wedding and Jill did my makeup and I could not have been happier. It was such a pleasure working with both of these talented ladies and I will absolutely come back.

My experience from start to finish was absolutely horrible. I originally booked an appointment for an updo at 8am with Lorely (at least a month in advance) because I know someone who had recommended her. A few days prior to my appointment I was rescheduled with Erin due to Lorely not working that day…. No big deal. I arrived to my appointment at 8am and was told that Erin was sick… again, I understand that there is nothing they can do at that point. This is the point that I should have just accepted I wasn’t getting my hair done and I should have not returned. I was told that if I came back at 9:30am, Lobna could do my hair. So I drove all the way home and all the way back for my appointment. I showed Lobna a photo and video of what I wanted done to my hair. When my hair was done, it looked absolutely nothing like the reference photo. I wanted a messy high bun. What I was given didn’t even look like a bun- it just looked like a bunch of hair piled on top of my head with a weird bump in the back. I apologized and told the stylist that I was not trying to be rude, but I was disappointed in the result, as it was nothing like the photo. She asked what she could fix, but honestly I told her I would rather just leave because I was now running behind schedule and there was no aspect of the hair that even resembled what I was asking for. She assured me she could fix my hair and said, “you’re paying me so I can fix it”. I kept insisting that I just wanted to leave because I was already an hour and a half behind schedule and there was no salvaging the hair and I just wanted to go home and shower and do what I could to my own hair. Lobna assured me she could fix it. I showed her the photo once again and tried to point out what she could change to my hair to make it like the photo. She worked on my hair for another 15-20 minutes. At this point I could tell it was still not coming together so I apologized and told her I needed to leave to stay on schedule, as the updo was for a wedding I was attending over an hour away and I still needed to go home and continue getting ready. She asked for a few more minutes to finish. After she finished my hair, she turned me around and said, “it’s really not that bad”…. First of all, I’m not sure who says that about their work, and second of all- it was bad. After I told her I needed to leave and said I was still not pleased, she told me, “I wish you would’ve told me you wanted it exactly like the photo”. I showed her the photo twice and a TikTok video of the girl doing the hair. I’m not sure how much clearer I could’ve been with my intentions. She then said “maybe it’ll look better when you put your dress on”. She didn’t even seem happy with her own work and it was just making me feel even worse. I had to ask for a manager- which I literally NEVER do (and yes I’m sure people say that, but I genuinely don’t complain). The manager seemed to think the scheduling issue during the morning was the bigger issue and I assured her that while yes, that was inconvenient, my issue was with the quality of work I received. After being nearly in tears, the manager comped my services. I had to go home and completely redo my hair. Even the curls she had put in my hair were not good and completely unsalvageable. I am horrified to even be leaving this review, but if it saves anyone from wasting their time (and possibly money), then I’m happy to do so. I have nothing good to say about this salon. I will attach photos of what I asked for and what I was given. Keep in mind, the photos I have are the second time she “fixed” my hair and is a slight improvement from what I was originally expected to leave with. Also, the photos don’t even begin to do it justice… it was even worse in person. Save yourself the headache!!! Don’t go here.

I had an appointment with Kisha to do my nails last night for my anniversary. I didn’t know what to expect as I’ve never been here for my nails before. I am absolutely blown away, I have never ever had a nail tech do such an incredible job and really bring my vision to life. I will never let anyone touch my nails again except for Kisha! 💅🫶

Terrible experience. I walked in to purchase a pedicure and massage for my wife. I was rudely interrupted by the clerk before I could ask any questions. I was advised that everything is online. All I wanted to know was how much a pedicure and massage was. Thanks but no thanks.
