I came to Tribe after a bad experience with my previous stylist chopping off my hair and somehow made it worse during a cleanup. I’ve always had long, beautiful hair—it’s a big part of what makes me feel confident and good about myself. Losing it was devastating, and I felt scared and emotional going to a new salon. The receptionist was kind and helpful when I explained my situation, and she set me up with Amy Beth, one of their more experienced stylists, for a correction cut. Amy Beth was incredible. She was not only experienced and knowledgeable but also listened to me and understood what I needed. She reassured me that the key to growing out my hair successfully was starting with a great haircut—and she delivered exactly that. She suggested I might be a candidate for extensions and gave me a cut that would work well with or without them. Ultimately she transformed my hair so it looked so much better and will now grow out beautifully. It’s been a month since my appointment, and I could cry with happiness every time I look in the mirror. For the first time in almost a year, I don’t hate my hair or how I look. I’m confident that with time and my simple hair care routine, I’ll finally achieve the long, healthy hair I’ve been striving for since it was chopped off. Thank you, Amy Beth and Tribe Salon, for helping me get my confidence back—it means more than you know!

Not only did Jessica do absolutely beautiful work on my daughter, but she was really helpful when my daughter hadn’t exactly explained what she had hoped for- and Jessica was quick to make sure she got just what she wanted. She’s a great addition to this salon with wonderful customer service and we are so grateful!

Gloria did a fantastic job with my hair. I’m an incredibly picky blonde that just moved to Reno. I’ve been told by several stylists that my hair is complicated and difficult to do. Gloria did a phenomenal job. She was quick, listened very closely to what I wanted, was thorough, detailed, and awesome. I highly recommend her. My next appointment is already scheduled.

I had such an amazing experience in the salon today. I went in 10 minutes before my appointment and was greeted immediately with smiles and warm welcoming! Before the hair cut started Cheyenne and I had an in depth consultation on my goals and expectations of my hair. I left the salon with my expectations met beyond what I could have imagined! Amazing! Amazing!

Cheyenne, I can't say enough about my hair transformation that you did I love the color and the cut. WONDERFUL experience with Gloria! I came in not knowing how to salvage my hair as I recently lost a ton of my hair due to my thyroid. I expected I'd need to cut my hair to my chin to get any kind of thickness. Also, most people don't know how to handle my hair that's super fine/easily tangled. But Gloria was super optimistic. She listened to everything I said about my hair's history. She was very precise with the haircut and got my hair looking considerably thicker. She blended my new growth in with my longer hair without having to take off length (other than my dead ends). She really knows what she's doing, and she's also super approachable and easy to talk to. 10/10

Cheyenne was absolutely amazing, from her personality to her work; it was all top notch! She took the time to listen and ask questions about what I wanted so we were both on the same page. I walked out feeling so confident! I was looking for someone to do a partial highlight and just freshen everything up; she did just that! I can’t wait for my next appointment with her!
