This salon is AWESOME!! I took my daughter to see Ms. Gwen for her first trip to the salon. My daughter is half black and half Mexican, as has all sorts of textures running through her hair. Ms. Gwen was professional and kind; she gave me tips on what products to use at home for my daughters hair. My daughter did not cry throughout the whole process and I was very impressed by the work that Ms. Gwen did. I am DEFINITELY bringing my daughter back to herwhen her hair grows out again. Call and ask for Ms. Gwen!! You won’t be disappointed!!

This salon is awesome! It’s ALWAYS Clean, The staff is always polite and friendly it’s cozy and although you hardly ever have to wait, IF you do it’s comfortable! Now... Renee is the owner/ My stylist for about 3yrs.now and there has not been any style or color or thought that I have brought to her and she could not execute!! This is Truly her God Given Talent and Gift! If you want any style/color/cut that you are unsure about she is your girl! She will counsel with you and Everything. You will not be disappointed. I see people travel in for her service! Try it you’re gonna Love It 😊

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Honestly, I wish I I could give it zero stars!! This place is not very diversified and if you are Hispanic/Latino they like to talk down on people and discriminate. I went to this place because it had such positive reviews online but I left extremely disappointed and hurt. I would've never imagined that I was going to leave this place feeling worst than how I went in. I wanted to have a girl's date with my sister but as soon as we walked in a lady that was doing hair asked us if we spoke English when it was obvious we did because we communicated in English the whole time. After that, she said she was not going to provided services for us because we speak Spanish and she speaks English. Come on! We spoke English the whole time and she had to ask twice if we spoke English with such a nasty attitude. We got denied services here in TEXAS for looking Hispanic! I personally don't believe anyone should feel nor go through something like that!! Ever!!

I was getting my hair done in the shop when two ladies walked in and requested to get highlights. My hair stylist asked if she wanted highlights in the roots or all over. The lady that wanted highlights could not communicate clearly on what she wanted, she seemed like she couldnt understand so the lady with her translated to ask what she wanted. Because of the language barrier my stylist politely explained that she felt uncomfortable doing the service because she wanted to be able to communicate with her client. So they left.. They then came back while my stylist was servicing another client recording with out the permission of the client in service or the stylist and accused her of discriminating because of their race and told her she was rude. Even though that all took place my stylist STAYED professional and did not escalate the situation.. I definitely give her 5 stars and have seen her work on ALL ethnicities time and time again and she does an Amazing job!

I went to this place to get some highlights done and the lady without even knowing me, she assumed I didn’t speak English because I asked my sister for opinion and refused to give me service ; so if you are Spanish DO NOT go to this place because they will discriminate you!

As always this salon offers top of the line services to all customers serviced. I can personally attest to that because I have seen it each time, with my own eyes. It doesn't matter what race or your financial status. I have seen Stylist/Owner/Operator Renee give each customer her honest and most professional opinion, even when it means possibly forfeiting the opportunity to make a profit on an misguided or uneducated customer. I love this salon and have been coming to this stylist for years. I can honestly say that I have NEVER left there disappointed.

It’s a great atmosphere! Very professional. As i was getting my hair done i noticed that all the ladies are very meticulous on how they do hair! I love it! I walked in looking a hot mess with THREE different hair colors, walked out with ONE hair color and a HUGEEE smile on my face. I was very pleased with the work and will definitely be coming back, it was so worth the 30 minute drive i did! Thank you so much Ladies.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Renee has been cutting my hair for years! She doesn’t shy away from any texture and cuts with confidence. I get complimented everywhere I go on my hair.There’s no better feeling than random strangers stopping and saying “ Girl, your hair is so cute!” And I reply by sending to Purple Feather Loft to see Renee.And I’m Latina baby! Those two ladies that say they. Discriminate here are dead wrong! I refer women from all backgrounds here and she rocks them all. It’s too bad they couldn’t communicate with stylist, they lost out. Trust me when I say Renee is the best and very compassionate. She even makes house calls to cut my daughter’s hair who is wheelchair bound and vent dependent. Support small businesses and become part of a family.

She is an expert in healthy, trendy, professional, color or any hair care service that you may desire. Renee brought my hair back from an unhealthy state to a vibrant, growing, full healthy head of hair . WOW, Renee is the truth! I came all the way from Delaware because I wanted a professional colorist who could transform my hair which had been henna treated for the past year. Henna deposits color so it is always a challenge to go lighter. Renee was up for the challenge and I went from an Auburn with red highlights to a soft brown with gold highlights. The consultation was very in depth and she made sure she was clear on the desired outcome before she developed her plan of attack.
