I’ve gone here 5-6 times and they never do the corn row design I ask for..you show them a picture and they do something completely different without telling you and then charge you $80-100. Last two times I went they braided my hair so tight I got bumps or sores or whatever. My cousin goes here and gets braids and said the same thing….we’re both out ✌🏾

This was my first experience getting braids in over 10 years & I was a little nervous but I truly had a great experience. My braided Katie was so gentle yet quick. She did the exact style that I wanted I definitely will be back

Lmao this lady has lost her mind. 85-100 for simple corn rows for a weave base with my own hair that’s not even neck length. And then has the nerve to keep calling me AND text after i hung up on her since when I tried to clarify to make sure I understand she rudely kept yelling the price. I guess that’s what works for them though.

I went in last week to get my hair done and the lady who did it did an excellent job! Took her time. I was getting compliments as soon as I left and it was late.. A week later my braids are still fresh and all the girls, kids, babies, adults.. they take notice! I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to get authentic pro quality braids. I will be back when it’s time to get re-twisted! Thank you ladies all for your time and expertise! Keep up the great work!

If I can give no stars I would. Talking about unprofessional at its best!!! I arrived 15mins earlier, texted I was there and no text back. Not only was they a hour late for my appt, with NO call or text to tell me they are going to be late. I gave them another chance and came back to still get it done. The stylist that was doing my hair still didn’t walk in until another 10 mins later. On top of that They tried to charge me more for a style that I sent the day before and they sent me a price back for. So you a hour late & trying to up your price… THE NERVE!!! As I get up from the chair to say I’m good & don’t want the services, the owner I’m guessing grabbed my arm tried to stopped me from walking out the door. YOU SHOULDN’T EVER TOUCH A CLIENT. I DON’T RECOMMEND. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!

Do Not Waste Your Money Here.This place is so unprofessional.Ive been getting my hair braided here since I was 16 and recently I've been treated so rudely. They don't listen to what you want they rush if they have other clients coming in after you or if they want to get out of there,and still charge expensive prices.I called to schedule with someone else because I didn't like the way one of the girls did my hair before and I heard them laughing in the back ground talking about be in French.I will Never give this place another Dime!

I been coming here for years & I always walk out happy . No matter if I’m late or need same day appointment , I get accommodated. The only shop that I allow braid my hair & I would highly recommend this place to anyone . Fari is the one that does my hair & kk always slayed my sons men braids .

I called a few days to get a quote for a braided hair style. The lady asked for a picture of the style I wanted. I sent the picture, she called me back and said she was not at the salon right now but would call me back when she arrived at the salon to give me a price but I never heard back from her.

20 Years ago when my 3 kids were little I got my hair braided there , regularly. I'm in my fifties and I'm ashamed of the way my hair looks so many years of tension... partially tension around the edges of the hairline. Years ago Mbaya used to do my hair she was great at braiding, invariably she became so busy,it seemed like the braiders were new each time I returned. One of the braiders did wonderful braids ( BTW she had a relaxer in her hair) moved back to Senegal and retired. I got crochet braids there June 14,2022 180.00, It was 60 dollars for crochet braids years ago. The work is no different now it takes about an hour to an hour and a half to make the tracks and attach the prebraided hair with a crochet needle. The hair I bought may have increased a dollar a pack in that same 20 Years. Touba charged 180.00 dollars to do my hair. I've known Mbaya years. She assigned me a girl I've never met, I don't think she understands English and the simple but expensive (180+ 60 for hair) procedure was a disaster. The girl double knotted my crochet braids and by June 22, 2022 I'd taken them out. The girl did a terrible job and the whole circular track started to unravel, people were coming up to me literally handing me back my hair. Keep that in mind and also the shop is very cliquish... they'll keep you waiting endlessly and they don't really want to talk to you or listen to you... provided you get one of them that speaks English. I've been to alot of braiding places over the years Touba has some of the highest price,oldest equipment, rudest braiders, and a filthy shop.

Bring cash and be patient. They started on my hair an hour past my appointment time. They are fast and braid well, but don't ask for anything out of the ordinary.

Omg. She put a trillion braids in my short hair, mind u my hair is shaved in back. She put in multiple colors of blonde. I told her I wanted to wear it in a bun, I said I didn't want it long and I didn't want a part. She didn't do anything that I asked her to do. Box braids were so ugly. 6 hours and they were taken out immediately. I the worst braids I hv ever seen. Do not go there. I also asked for edges to be left out. Nope she didn't do it.

Very unprofessional and rude. Not all of the ladies there are, but for the majority of the years I’ve been coming here I’ve had nothing, but constant problems. This was my last visit.

Bousso is awesome. She put box braids in my daughter's hair. When I picked her up she was smiling from ear to ear. I tipped her$70 if that says anything. I don't have to look anywhere else or sit and wait for stylists who don't call back.

I was impressed with my cornrows. The stylist understood and created exactly what I wanted. KK made some suggestion that improved the over all style. I will definitely be going back.

I was told one price and it wasn't until she was halfway done she told me I was supposed to pay more. Than she stopped and asked me if not she wouldn't finish. Extremely unprofessional for her to do that seeing I was on a budget. The second issue was, telling me they did stitch braids and it totally a lie. They did regular french braids to my daughter hair when I got back. Paid full price and was told I'd get a discount next time.

Made an appointment to get my natural hair washed, deep conditioned, blowed out then braided in 4 sections to the back. Firstly no one showed up until 40 minutes after my appointment so that was a bit unprofessional. Then after the woman showed up to do my hair she started brushing my hair out with a wig brush instead of a detangling comb which was ripping my hair out(thick 4c hair). After the wash she proceeds to dry my hair like a person would dry a dog’s fur which only made my hair tangle. Then she tried to use the same wig brush to detangle my hair which was not helping and caused her to spend an enormously long time trying to blow dry my hair because it was tangled. She eventually finished and I lost a lot of hair. I also noticed that another hairdresser in there picked up the same brush and brushed someone else’s hair right after mine without cleaning it which I found very concerning. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Please look elsewhere.
