Tina did FABULOUS job cutting and highlighting/lowlighting my hair!! I have longer hair with layers and it is sooo hard to find someone that can cut it the way I like it but she NAILED IT!! I would personally recommend her with no hesitation whatsoever!!

I just moved up to Gainesville from south Florida and was looking for a new hair salon and took a chance on total image salon. I’m so glad I did because my hair looks gorgeous and feels so healthy now. It’s such a cute and quirky shop, I loved the atmosphere! Just remember to bring cash or download zelle :)

I just want to say, I LOVE TINA! She is my favorite hair dresser in all of Gainesville. She knows what she is doing. I’ve been having her do my hair ever since I moved up to Gainesville 10 years ago. And yes I have tried many other places, for one reason or another. Such as availability, location of where I’m living at the time, or the hype of a new fancy place. Well I always end up coming back to Tina at TOTAL IMAGE. This isn’t bash any other places I’ve gone. There’ve done a fine job for the most part.. but I haven’t felt myself the last year while I’ve been growing out my hair from my last cut (I know, prob too long to wait for a trim) but I finally got back in to see Tina today and I am SO HAPPY. Point is, anyone looking for a hairdresser I recommend Tina at Total Image ☺️ I finally feel pretty today after looking blah for so long.

tina at total image cuts the best hair in town, period, full stop. of all the people i have had cut my hair, tina is the most thoughtful and skillful. she understands the needs of your hair intuitively from years of experience and cuts it thinking of how it will look a week from now, a month from now, and so on, in addition to how it looks as you leave the salon. she simply is an expert, the only expert stylist i have ever met, frankly, and if she ever stops cutting hair i will just let mine grow until it touches the ground and the friction wears it down. all my friends see her. she's simply magic. and affordable, which is outrageous given the quality of the cut. i cannot recommend her enough!

I have been going to Tina at Total Image Salon since I was a child. She has always done an amazing job cutting my hair, and her prices are unbeatable. I have visited a few other salons in Gainesville over the years, but I keep coming back to Total Image because Tina always cuts my hair exactly how I want it and will give suggestions if I ask. My whole family loves coming here, too!

As always, it's always a pleasure to come to see Tina. I've known her for 40 plus years. She's been my stylist for at least 20 yrs of that. She listens to what you want and proceeds to tell you if it will work for you or not. Always pleased with the outcome. I would say to call herald giver her a chance, you won't be disappointed.

I went here twice in the past and had April for my haircuts but since she isn’t here anymore, I had mine done by Tina. They have the best prices I’ve seen and I always am satisfied with my haircuts after telling them what I like. Tina is really nice. She’s flexible on openings so when I called she got me a spot right away.

FIRST HAIRCUT I'VE RECEIVED IN A WHILE THAT I DIDN'T INSTANTLY REGRET! As a guy with curly medium-length hair, I had been searching for a reliable barber that wouldn't just cut off most of my hair and give me the typical jock military cut. After a recommendation from my sister (who also really loved her hair), April really listened to my suggestions (which were admittedly vague), and gave me a haircut I absolutely love. She was friendly, skilled, and gave me a fantastic haircut at a very reasonable price!

I have been going here for almost two years now and April is a truly great stylist! I brought in pictures of what I wanted and she was very honest about how we could achieve going light blonde without totally wrecking and damaging my hair. She is a very kind and hard working person and I always enjoy chatting with her. She also makes herself available if you have any questions or concerns about how to best take care of your hair after you leave. On top of all of that, the prices are incredible and it is definitely the best value I have ever found for a cut and highlights! I couldn’t recommend her more! (The photo is my most recent cut where I decided to go darker again for the fall/winter, so she suggested a demi-permanent so I can go light again without damaging my hair as much!)

Wonderful place! Lowest price I’ve found around town. They do great haircuts and understand how to cut curly hair patterns very well, they also offer amazing men’s cuts. This is a small business with hardworking individuals, I recommend this place to anyone looking for quality hair services.

I’ve been coming here since I moved to gainesville 3 years ago and have not once had a bad experience. Everyone here is amazing, so kind and sweet. I’ve had my hair done by both Tina and April and they always do a fantastic job! Some of the sweetest people ever and always professional. I always leave with my hair looking and feeling so much healthier and nicer! I’ll be coming here for as long as I live in Gainesville!
