I have a good visit at Tom Hill Nail Salon. Kelvin did my nails. He was very kind and friendly. I was a bit nervous because I entered the Salon about 20 minutes before closing, but I wasn't disappointed.

If I could give 0 stars I would... the lady who did my toe polish change cause me to contract a fungal infection on 3 different toes (I take very great care of my feet that's how I was able to spot it before it took too further into my nail) and the lady/man who did my full set was shaking like crazy and looked like they were on something and worse of all...did a s h i t t y job. I am always overcharged too. Do not go!

On 12/23/2024 I received the worst customer service ever. I normally get gel polish with my pedicure, but this time I decided to do normal polish. It looked like an 8 year old gave me an at home pedicure. The nail tech wasn't friendly at all.. NEVER AGAIN!!!

This is the tackiest and most unprofessional nail salon in Macon. The young man that did my nails has no clue what sns is! My nails cost $60 and have lasted only 2 days. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!

The gentleman who did my pedicure was very thorough and did a great job. My only complaint (and the reason I took a star off the rating) is that the back door was open and the whole place smelled like cigarette smoke the entire hour I was in there. 😥

It was fantastic! I showed a photo of what I wanted for my beach vacation, and my nails turned out exactly like the photo. They were too long for my taste, but that was my fault, not the salon. I love going here every time I get my nails done! Update. This is months later but I went on and sat with a woman named Linda, and she was amazing. She worked with me the whole time, offered suggestions, and was so polite. She even worked with me on the changes that I wanted to try. I loved the experience and I highly recommend _Tom Hill Nails,! I also plan on making Linda my go-to nail tech, she is a rock star! I had a fantastic experience today. I saw Amy. She was awesome. I changed my mind a couple of times, but she never got frustrated, and she was so patient with me. The designs she did on my nails were amazing. I hope I get her every time I go in.

I have been to this business before for a pedicure and it was fine. This morning, I went for a manicure. It was awful. The technician was absolutely distracted with other people and several times filed my skin rather than my nail. She was very rough! She jerked and pulled my arm to her rather than scooting in to be closer to me at the work station. She “globbed” the gel on my nails and left the nail bed on several nails near the cuticle unpainted. I pointed this out to her and she grabbed my hand and started cutting the skin again around my nails. (?) My nails look awful and I will have to go somewhere else to get these cleaned up with more damage to my nails. Now I am afraid that I have been given an infection around my nails! I will not return to this business and I do not recommend their services.

The nail tech was more into playing games on his phone than assisting me. Every few seconds he would stop doing my nails just to continue to play on his phone. I felt very rushed on my nails. His game was more important than his service..

UPDATE: After they replied back to my review, I came back. I got the same guy for the manicure and again he did a really bad job especially on the sides and corners. Original: I thought I found a really good nail place but I was so wrong. The first time I went in, I really liked the shape (almond) and the service, including attention to detail. I got dipping powder but it started chipping the next day. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and went in for the second time to get the same color just a different shape (oval). This experience was horrible- the sides of my nails are not fully covered with the color and it looks crooked. The real nail is popping from the sides for many of my fingers. There’s polish left on my hands/fingers. And to top it all off, the person doing my nails was not careful with the electric filer and ended up hitting my fingers multiple times. I even got small cuts on two of my fingers. Honestly every time I look at my hands, I find something wrong. He even managed to get polish on the palm of my hand.

Had non stop issues with my SNS chipping. I was told to come in and they would make it right. I did, they removed it and still charged me $10. Plenty of other salons out there who would have made it right

All I’m going to say is ask for Vicky!!! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and when I say she delivered!!!! Looks exactly like the picture! Vicky is very precise, gentle, and fast without making you feel rushed! Ask for her!!!
