I’ve been coming here for YEARS and love it. Very clean and relaxing space. I absolutely love Shazia, she does a great job with my eyebrows. I always get compliments! Plus, the face massage afterwards is so relaxing

$30 for eyebrow threading is a scam. Also it was so painful and wasn’t even done properly. While the girl was sweet she might as well have had tweezers in her hand. Eyebrow threading should be swift and not feel like plucking. I promise you can find cheaper more skilled places. Eyebrow threading originated from Ancient Persia so you can go find an authentic place and give your money to them and leave happy with the results.

I have been coming here for brows since mid 2013. I have never been disappointed, and have never needed to ask for any particular person. They all do a great job. It is out of my way to get here now, but after trying a few other places I am convinced that it is worth it. 2024, still coming back! Kamini is the best! ❤️

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love this place for threading eyebrows! You must see Kamini at the Wells location! She is the absolute best and makes you feel so at home and comfortable!!! Highly recommend!! I love you, Kamini!

I go to Marco and have been for nearly a year. He has a true talent for all things brows and lashes. I had to switch from waxing to threading due to bad reactions and it was seamless. When I leave every single hair is in place, I feel like my face shape looks better because of the suggestions and executions. 11 out of 10!

Walked-in for my first appointment today because I really needed my brows and chin threaded and was seen by Suzanne. She was super sweet from beginning to end, stopping from time to time to make sure I liked how my brows looked and what I most appreciated was that she was gentle. I had a great first visit here and I’ll definitely be back again. Thank you again Suzanne and Thread Away!

Have been going here for 2+ years and love it! Kamini, shazia and all the others do such a good job. Very easy to make appointments online. Its a little pricier than other spots but keep in mind you are paying for convenience of location. You can def drive out to other neighborhoods and get cheaper threading done if you prefer. I moved to west loop but still drive back here for this.

Don't live downtown, I'm here for work today and decided to get my eyebrows done as it's overdue and I keep forgetting. The place I wanted to try is closed on Mondays so I went here since its the next closest. Nothing wrong with the service, fast and clean brows. But in no way was it worth 30. Prices are pretty hidden on the website and not listed anywhere in person either, so I was caught off guard with the price. Can't afford to tip so I left feeling awkward and robbed.

Did a good job, but my goodness! $30 for eyebrows when I sit in the chair for <5 min. Wayyyyyy cheaper places! Wouldn’t recommend for that alone. A rip off!

After a busy workweek I love to get my brows threaded at thread away in River north Kamini is amazing, so understanding and nice ! + the roller massage was so relaxing. I always feel so good afterwards. Highly recommend !!

I got my eyebrows done today and one of the eyebrows was threaded smaller than the other. It isn’t extremely noticeable, but for sloppy $30 I’d rather find another location.

I love chasias work, I’ve gone through a lot of threading in different cities and she is by far the best I’ve had ever. I gave 4 because charging 30 per threading seems a bit extreme. I’m use to in San Francisco paying 12$ per session , so here being double per session is just a bit too much. But at least the quality is amazing . Ask for Chasia if you need your eyebrows done .

Wonderful experience. Traveling from out of the area and googled an eyebrow place close for last minute. A little bit more expensive than I’m used to but well worth it for the eyebrow thread and tint.

Don’t waste your time coming here. I waited 30 mins to be seen and then a women walked in and she took her bc she had an appointment. Mind you I called and asked if I needed to make one and I was told no. Mind you this other women was 8 mins late. I got my eyebrows and she did an okay job nothing special. Not worth waiting for when they clearly don’t respect your time

Kamini is amazing! She is so kind and knowledgeable. She suggested eyebrow lamination and the results were everything I have been trying to achieve on my own for years! I am now a loyal customer. The lamination price is also very reasonable, especially for being in River North.

This was my first experience here for eyebrow threading, and it was great! This is coming from a person that has super full eyebrows, so I am VERY VERY picky with the salons I go to. The employee's were very sweet and Kamini was super careful and diligent with my brows. She asked me what I wanted, and I explained that I don't think my eyebrows are aligned correctly. She looked at my brows and then we decided what we wanted to do. I will 100% be going back to see her. If you are looking for a new salon and what to make sure people know what they are doing, this is the place to go. Only 4 stars because the price tag is steep, $30 for eyebrow threading. I visited 1 other salon and they were charging $19 (although they were NOT as good, actually bad in comparison)!
