My experience at The Wit was absolutely incredible! It was my first time getting a lash/eyebrow lift and tint, and it was hands down the best experience ever. The location is stunning, and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the lovely Marta. She even served me a delicious hot ginger tea before taking me to a beautiful zen-like room to explain the lift/tint process. Marta answered all my questions and made sure I was cozy and comfortable before starting. The results were truly amazing! I was amazed to see how the lash lift curled my lashes from the base all the way to the tip, making them appear longer and fuller. It's like a perm for your lashes, and it made such a difference in my overall look. I will definitely be returning to The Wit and I can't wait to try out their other services. I highly recommend Marta and her expertise, my experience with her today has me feeling excited and ready to explore more beauty treatments at The Wit!

I love the wit so much! It’s really comforting to have a small team of super qualified professionals to work with you and guide you on your skin journey. They’re also so understanding and empathetic to the emotions and ad hoc needs that arise when you’re on a journey to heal your skin. Lyndsey has been really great and invested in my skin, and Marta is an angel who gave me the best acne facial yesterday. It was heartening to see her pivot her plan to fit my needs as she listened to me. I felt so heard! And I left with my skin in a much better place. ALSO I love their products. It’s really cool to be able to buy the products that they use on you. Especially when the market is so oversaturated with skin care products, they really take a lot of the hassle out of choosing. The products are very reasonably priced too. Love love love y’all!

Dr Ruth has truly created something of a wellness sanctuary at The Wit. From the moment you enter, the energy of the space and the kindness of the staff calms and welcomes you. Time and time again, I have been thoroughly impressed by her expertise and support. She never tries to upsell or force a service on you. She truly wants what’s best for each patient. Not to mention, we chat and laugh nonstop through each appointment. I have been so satisfied with my Jeuveau injections and genuinely look forward to my appointments. I have and continue to recommend her to all my friends and anyone curious about various treatment options. Check her out!

I had filler done at the wit and was told this would be helpful in smoothing smile lines and in lifting creating more defined cheek bones. I had to go back several times to have the filler dissolved from my cheeks and mouth. Unfortunately the remaining filler on the right side of my mouth is migrating creating a large uneven shape. Colleagues and a supervisor commented assuming I had a medical condition. I was told by the naturopath at the Wit that the large white line at the left side of my face would fade and to get sun exposure or wear makeup later to be told this was due to an additional line. I was also told that the skeletor appearance would settle, it did not. It did however cause pooling under my eyes creating increased look of eye bags and being overly tired. I did manage to get over there several times and would like to have the remaining removed. Due to recent issues I had tried to make an appointment to have the remaining filler dissolved. Unfortunately, the availability is not conducive to my work schedule, and this procedure was not cheap therefore missing work and pay is not currently an option. Wishing I would have saved my money, regret having this done. I do not recommend filler. Other services are great, B-12 injection and Marta is amazing!

I’ve been to the Wit three times; twice for a different types of consults and once for a facial. Each time I was welcomed with a warm smile. I feel so confident in each of the providers I’ve seen. They gave me their honest and professional opinion each time. I really appreciate everyone’s bedside manner, and how well they’ve been able to take care of me - from moving my appointment time to a later time due to a car emergency, to going above and beyond with a wonderful facial with Marta. I’m grateful for this friendly woman owned safe space. Thank you Wit!!

I have experienced only careful, artful, amazing aesthetic procedures and injections from the ladies at The Wit. Treat yourself in this chic, homey space--you can trust these pros to do it right and make you feel terrific! The vibe is the exact opposite of an impersonal chain med spa downtown. These folks know what they're doing and care about the result--and how you feel about it. Plus, they're fun to chat with over a Topo Chico! I love it here.

Oh man, the perfect mix of medical and spa with a lux vibe. The building is beautiful. Dr Ruth Hobson is so nice and good at what she does. My got my lips filled in and they turned out really good. I have very good results. It wasn’t nearly as painful as the first time I got them done (at a different place, skin by lovely). I also had zero pain the next day. They look plumper for sure but also super natural. I will be back for sure.

Dr. Ruth is so wonderful! I see her regularly for Botox and trusted her to give me lip filler for the first time, which I loved! They are professional, and thorough with every visit. I always look natural and like the best version of myself, not frozen or overly done. The space itself is beautiful, modern, warm and inviting. I always look forward to my appointments with dr Ruth, can’t recommend enough!

Had my first facial today and if I could give more then 5 stars I would. The spot is beautiful and relaxing. Lyndsey was excellent! I had a full consultation before we started and she recommended me a different facial then I had booked, and it was the right choice! She was very cool, easy to talk too, listened to my concerns, educational, and even made me my own personal regiment for at home. I really can’t wait to come back for another one already. I highly recommend everyone treats themselves to any service they have to offer!

I can’t say enough great things about my experience at The Wit. It’s been a full week Since my treatment and I am so in love with the results. Dr. Ruth is a super talented injector.. my lips and checks look fabulous. I trusted her immediately. I’m no stranger to injections and have been to quite a few places in Portland and this is by far the best. Not having to go downtown really helps too. The Wit feels more like a cozy yet chic wellness center rather than a medspa. Dr. Ruth spent a lot of extra time with me cos I got multiple treatments and I felt so relaxed the entire time like I was getting therapeutic treatment done. She offered topical numbing, ice and even this cool vibrating wand to distract from any discomfort. I felt really taken care of. The wit is a gem in NE Portland.

I had my first microneedling treatment at The Wit and was instantly put at ease when I entered the building. The atmosphere is calming and welcoming. Lyndsey took the time to walk through treatment expectations and answer all of my questions before we got started. The treatment itself went as planned and Lyndsey included ample follow-up skincare before I left. Looking forward to going again for my next treatment!

I love coming to The Wit! The space is beautiful - filled with plants and even more beautiful humans. Jacquie is so sweet and accommodating with my ever-changing work schedule. THANK YOU. Lindsey is amazing and more than willing to listen to my needs/wants/concerns, and just all around an awesome person to talk to. I've had three treatments with her and loved each of them - great results! I have yet to have a treatment with Dr. Ruth, but had a quick consultation and I'm super excited to work together in the future. LOVE LOVE LOVE. :)

Originally went in for a microneedling consultation and now months later I can’t stop finding reasons to come back! For one, the way I feel after spoiling myself in this way is like no other, but the way The Wit staff treats their clients is next level. So much kindness, understanding and transparency throughout the entire process. (Add soda water, duh, be still my heart) I have now had 3 microneedling sessions, 4 btl laser sessions and juvaderm volbella lip filler. Not to mention they carry really great products from Zo Skin Health as well as their own line of The Wit products. Both lines have immensely helped my daily routines. Anyhow! This was my first time having any treatment done. I had Exilis done on my face and neck and a consultation for fillers. Both Lindsey and Dr. Ruth are very welcoming and friendly. They both are very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. The spa is very clean and comfortable. I cannot wait to go back for my next treatment! So glad I found this little gem!

After four years of trying to hide a scar resulting from skin cancer surgery on my forehead, The Wit has me logging onto zoom without pause. Professional, compassionate and knowledgeable Dr Ruth developed a plan to soften my scar tissue strategically bringing balance and symmetry to my face once again. I am grateful beyond measure to this team. From the moment Jaquie greeted me (thermometer in hand and masked) I knew this was a safe environment where I could relax and finally face my trauma. I couldn't be more impressed with this little gem. The space is so charming and reeks of taste, right when you walk in, which always gives you a good feeling when you walk in. The staff if wonderful and super friendly, BOTH times I've been there. The Doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted. The space is extremely clean and very well kept. I received Botox and could NOT be happier with the results. They schedule a follow-up appt about ten days after your treatment to see if there is any adjusting that needs to be done and make sure both parties are happy with the result. I was very pleased and scheduled my next treatment that day. I can't wait to go back. I even told my Mother about the place and she may get some treatments done, as well.

I discovered The Wit through one of their Groupon deals and have now been there 3 times for various Med Spa treatments. I love that this is a woman owned and operated business. I feel more comfortable discussing my cosmetic aesthetic goals with other women than with male providers, this obviously is a personal preference and would not be enough on its own to make me a repeat customer. I find the staff friendly and professional and there is not too much pressure to up sell the client on procedures and products. Speaking of products The Wit sells an awesome in-house product line and Zo Skin Health. Their prices for the Zo line are better than Amazon. Additionally staff are well versed in the products they sell and you can feel confident in the recommendations they make for you based on your skin care goals and needs. I can recommend The Wit with a high amount of confidence!

The Wit has such a soothing atmosphere , from its cozy, modern decor (love the fireplace), to the incredible staff, I felt so relaxed and taken care of. It truly felt like “me time” while I was there , a true self cafe experience. Not to mention the results I saw afterwards . I highly recommend Dr. Ruth for injections, and body work. Will definitely be going back .

Can't say enough about The Wit. First of all, it was such a treat to visit the location after the year we have all had. The decor is stunning and simple and beautifully done. Every detail is impeccable. They go above and beyond to make it clean and safe. I had some treatments with Dr. Hobson and she was AMAZING! I knew I was in good hands during the entire treatment - plus I could tell she really cares on top of knowing her stuff. Their skin care products are unlike anything I have ever used and I've had MANY compliments on how great my skin looks. My husband keeps asking me what it feels like to be 25 again:) I'll be working with Lyndsey too and I can't wait. No joke it feels like Christmas morning to think about going back again.

I can't get enough of The Wit! The space is beautiful and calming. They have COVID protocols that made me feel super safe. So far, I have had chemical peels and body contouring from Lyndsey and I can't believe the results I am seeing. I have also had aromatherapy bodywork from Dr. Ruth which was an amazingly relaxing and meditative experience. I'll be going back very soon!

I had a wonderful experience at The Wit. I had a laser treatment from Lyndsey, and although it was my first time, the vibe in the salon was perfect and Zen-like. I actually found the warmth from the treatment relaxing, and my complexion had a healthy glow afterwards. I also had two injection appointments ( 2 weeks apart) with Dr. Ruth, and although I was a little nervous because it was my first time, she made me feel relaxed and at ease. I could already see some results from the treatment the next day. My forehead was smoother, and the main “anger crease” between my eyebrows has softened considerably after my first two treatments, giving my face a more youthful appearance. I’m a 48 year old man, who previously had only one facial treatment before. After comparing before and after pictures Dr. Ruth took just two weeks earlier, I could see a clear difference in the tightness of my skin, and I’m extremely happy with the results so far. I would highly recommend you try both treatments at The Wit.

My new go to spot for my Self Care Sunday routine. Prices are affordable and the service was top notch. I have had previous laser experiences that were unpleasant to say the least and this one was actually enjoyable.The BTL exiles body contouring felt like a hot stone massage and I saw results on the back of my legs and tummy after just two treatments. After some skin tightening, CO2 lift mask and facial my skin was absolutely glowing and smooth as a baby. The inside is beautifully done, clean, and relaxing. Dr. Ruth and Lyndsey were so kind and patient with me. Can't say enough good things about this spot!!!

Safe place for skincare needs. The space was spotless, but still warm and inviting. Covid-19 protocol was followed to a t. I had a great facial with Lyndsey that left my skin feeling renewed. I’ve never really had a skin care routine before and it was only my second facial, but Lyndsey is great at walking you through the basics and explaining what’s going on throughout the process. My pronouns (they/them) were used/respected for the duration of the visit. Will definitely be back now that I’m 30 and need to start thinking about some preventative care (botox 😳) with Dr. Ruth.

The Wit is the best medi-spa experience I’ve ever had. The facility is spotless and minimalistic, and their equipment is state of the art. Lyndsey is a master with the laser. I’ve seen results on the loose skin on my neck after one treatment! Ruth is an amazingly thorough injector. She really takes her time to listen to you to target your problem areas. They both work together to get real results!
