I recently moved back to Delaware after living in Ohio and my hair really needed a refresh. I got my hair done today by Nicole Pool and my hair looks amazing! Not only is Nicole incredibly kind and welcoming, she’s very knowledgeable. She listened to my ideas , provided helpful feedback on what would look best and I am so happy with my hair color and cut! I highly recommend Nicole!

Tired of traveling over an hour to my previous hairdresser in PA, my coworker recommended Andrea at Upper Cut. Not only is the salon right around the corner from my job, but I am so pleased with my stylist Andrea. She does beautiful cut and color. Prices are decent too.

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at The Upper Cut. I have a 3 year old with very curly mixed hair. My first and only experience with getting my daughter’s haircut before didn’t go well. The stylist didn’t understand how to handle and cut my child’s hair. It put me off from getting her hair cut for a year. Enter LAUREN!!!! On a friend’s recommendation, I booked an appointment. First of all, she knows exactly what she is doing with mixed curly hair. Before a drop of water touched my child’s hair I was asked if it was worn curly all the time. Yup. Game plan changed. Curl respecting dry cut done! Secondly, she’s really knowledgeable! Lauren was able to provide advice on areas in my child’s hair care routine that I was concerned about. I learned what mistakes I was making by her patiently answering all of my questions and just by watching how she treated my child’s hair. Finally, she seemed to form a genuine rapport with my child. I know that there’s customer service, but you don’t often meet strangers that are open-minded enough to let in a child’s silliness or sense of humor. Lauren is also really adept at anticipating a child’s head movements and can do a safe cut effortlessly. Many things about getting a 3 year old’s hair cut can be harrowing. This was the opposite of that. Everyone in the salon was sweet to my child and Lauren was so exceptional. Thank you so much for making my baby’s huge amount of hair look great!!!

The Upper Cut is best hair salon by far. From the front receptionist staff for arrival to exit. Sherry, my hair Angel for nearly 12 years to the best shampooing staff not too mention the awesome head massages and brow waxing! Can't beat this place🫶
