I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a facial at The Skincare Republic, and I must say, it was nothing short of excellent. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Larisa, which set the tone for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. Larisa, was incredibly professional and friendly. It was clear from the start that she was highly skilled and knowledgeable in her field. She took the time to explain each step of the process, detailing what she was doing and why it was beneficial for my skin. This level of transparency and education made me feel comfortable and informed throughout the entire treatment. I’m already looking forward to my next treatment with her. Happy to have this quality of service in my neighborhood.

I've had two excellent appointments with Larissa; and I urge to go here. She is up-to-date knowledgeable, caring, and a wonderful practitioner in a comforting space. I trust her perspective. The massage with the facial and the whole process was soothing and healing for my being. With old skin, I don't expect the moon- the results that are had with younger skin, but I've found this work does do some re-setting and enables greater absorption and skin wellness.

Had an awesome facial by Larissa! She personalizes the treatments at each visit based on the current condition and needs of my skin and I am always very satisfied. Also, She hand-makes various soaps- try the carrot-papaya loofah!

I have been looking for the right place to get a thorough and affordable facial in the Red Hook area for many years and I finally found it with Larisa at The Skincare Republic! She was very skillful and knowledgeable. One of the best facials I have had in years! I am definitely going back. Such a great addition to the Red Hook community.

I need to add Larisa to my skincare plan, because every time I visit I feel like a million bucks. She is working her magic the entire time -- I had the most amazing neck massage while my face enjoyed a calming mask. She has an incredible touch and everything smells amazing, making your visit so peaceful and relaxing.

The facial experience I had was absolutely delightful from start to finish. Upon entering the treatment room, I was immediately enveloped in the soothing ambiance created by a gently scented candle and soft music. Larissa is a delight and an incredibly skilled esthetician. I had some sun exposure from the previous day and she used products that left my skin feeling calm and deeply moisturized; it genuinely glowed! The service itself was the epitome of relaxation, the heated treatment table and hot stone massage melted away all the stress and tension.

Amazing!! Larisa is so validating and so personable. I enjoy and look forward to every facial i get. The facials are always such a relaxing experience- not to mention that my skin has never looked this good or felt this good. I’ve truly regained my confidence in my skin again. It always looks so radiant and fresh, which is something i’ve lacked before coming to see Larisa. She makes the most amazing body butters and soaps, they smell SO amazing. I have not let one go to waste! They work great and feel so good on your body. I love body & skin care, and Larisa is a master in the craft! Run don’t walk to have the most relaxing, toning, nourishing facial! My skin is legit glowing! I woke up this morning (day after facial) and my skin looks silky smooth, improved texture and fine lines and my face is so contoured from her facial massage and micro-current treatment. She only uses super high quality products and it shows. I will be back!!!

The facial I had by Larisa was amazing. Products were top quality and had my face feeling fresh, hydrated, and smelling incredible all day long (people even complimented me!). Larisa has such a gift with making me feel relaxed and pampered our whole session, and the facial/shoulder massage she gave me was pure bliss 😌 10 out of 10, I highly recommend going here!
