Speechless. The service was astounding. First time massage and first visit. They exceeded any expectations I had in mind. Claire was a godsend. Front staff was very attentive. The hot green tea was perfect temperature right away. Towels were just right. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. Thank you!

I had a wonderful massage today by Roberto! Unfortunately a bad experience by the service staff. This was my first visit to the spa in Cedar Rapids. I was led to the back by a lovely young lady and she served me a cocktail! Very classy! Then I was forgotten. I received a phone call while relaxing in the back room and they asked me if I was going to make my appointment! After that was straightened out Roberto found me and took me to the table. The massage was great! Five stars for Roberto! I checked out at the front desk and paid my bill. I was then asked to complete the intake form, which I did. I then asked for my coat and gave the lady my name. I was ready to leave and another gal asked me if I had a gift card on file. I did not and I told her I had already settled my bill. She tore off to the back to confirm I had paid! Like I was a criminal trying to escape and not pay. She came back and said someone had not clicked a box. I then mentioned that I liked the spa but things seemed disorganized. All she could say was that it was “gift card season that was why it was disorganized”. She did not acknowledge my compliment or thank me for my visit. I even told her I had been waiting over 20 minutes before they even knew I was there! She was salty and non-empathetic! Just rudeness! I will not be back and don’t expect that you will print this honest review. Please consider training your staff in customer service.

I travel often and have spent a lot of time at different spas in the country and abroad. Ritz Carlton, Naples, Fl The Hyatt Spa, Bonita Springs Fl, Bellagio Hotel , Las Vegas, St. Martin, Spa , French Side, Maris Dusan, NYC, The Langham Hotel, Pasadena, CA, Ritz Carlton, Cayman Islands... I could add more, My point is my first visit at The Sanctuary Spa was like no other. I was pampered and received services that were exemplary. I have visited the spa several times now and continue to enjoy treatments by estheticians who are highly experienced , kind, caring and specialists in their area(s) of expertise. Needless to say, I place this spa in the top 1% of the spas I have visited. I believe in caring for my body by pampering myself as often as possible. Massages and facials reduce stress and anxiety levels. Whether you're treating your body or your face , your skin's health is important. There as so many other benefits as well. Immerse yourself in a serene atmosphere and relaxation room like the The Sanctuary and you will thank yourself .

Best spa in the area. Atmosphere, professionalism, customer service, quality. Libby did a stellar job for my back. Have also used Chantel, who is also great.

This place is the best spa I have ever visited. I was traveling and experiencing a lot of pain. The Sanctuary place was able to get me in very quickly. Once I arrived I got to experience the relaxation room which was an amazing treat and a great way to start off my massage. I want to give Sophia a shout out for listening and tailoring the massage to give me the relief I needed. I will be back next time I visit Cedar Rapids.

This was my first visit, but it was certainly not my last. I spent most of the day with Callista getting a facial, mani and pedi. She was so friendly, funny and professional. She took great care of me and listened to my needs. From the front door to the relaxation room to my actual appointment, everyone was kind, thoughtful,professional and friendly. I highly recommend The Sanctuary Spa!

My husband booked me a prenatal massage (I'm about 8 months pregnant) and a pedicure for my birthday. It was AMAZING! Definitely the best pedicure I've had! I love that the pedicure is done dry and laying down. I fell asleep for almost the whole thing! The massage was fantastic! I've had prenatal massages at other locations, but the setup at Sanctuary was the best! It was the most comfortable I've been in my third trimester! I will definitely be going back for more treatments after the baby arrives!

I always have a great experience at Sanctuary Spa! The massage therapists are all great at what they do, the staff is always kind and accommodating, and I love the atmosphere and complementary drink in the relax room.

I have gone to sanctuary spa for years. The people are always so nice and Cheyenne, my massage therapist, is always so easy to communicate with about concerns I may have regarding my massage. And even offers her personal number if I have concerns after my appointment. I recommend people to Sanctuary Spa all the time!

I live in Arizona and wanted to give my Daughter & Granddaughter a spa day for Mothers Day. They live in Iowa. I called The Santuary after doing my research. I must of called them over the course of 2 days sbout 7 times. I ended up with the manager, kari who was a huge help. I cannot tell you how above and beyond she went for me. On Friday night I needed something changed on one of the gift certificates and I was told Kari was on her way out of town, probably for her Mothers Day. She emailed me and guess what she took care of it for me and made sure I received the new certificate and asked if i needed anything else. It was after 9 pm in Arizona so Iowa was 10 or 11pm I am humbled by their caring and superior customer service.

Disappointed... not the mini spa day I was expecting. Booked 2 services "a la carte" and received both squeezed into one service time frame and wasn't the full experience described. But was then charged for 2 separate services.

I have been going to Sanctuary Spa for years and their facials are simply magical. My favorite treatment is a Hydrafacial - my skin is left smooth, glowing, and most importantly, cleansed like no other! If you're considering a facial, I highly recommend Sanctuary Spa!

I've been going to The Sanctuary for many years and Cheyenne is by far the best! She spends time prior to the massage asking about any issues I may be having and then explains what could be causing it and how she will remedy it. She's amazing!

Went in for an hour massage and it was absolutely what I needed! Hanging out in the relaxation room while sipping on a complimentary drink set the tone the for the whole experience! Cheyenne was amazing and is very skilled in her profession. If you like a quiet experience she will respect that but I highly recommend picking her brain as she is also great to talk to!
