Christine is awesome! I moved to SLC with my pixie cut and was anxious about finding a new person to cut my hair. Christine has been the ticket! She gives a great cut that I get so many compliments on it. She is attentive and listens to my ideas. Love my haircuts from her.

I’ll start by saying I think this girl has some talent but she totally failed on my first haircut with her and I won’t be going back. I came in with longer layers around my neck from a longer style pixie and told her that I wanted to keep the layers longer for winter. Somehow she assumed that meant to shave my head in the back so high and so short that it went above my tan line and looks totally ridiculous. Upon first glance in the salon I really liked the front of my hair style yet once I saw the back I was in such shock I just thanked her and left. When I got home and was able to take a closer look I just couldn’t believe how silly it looked in the back and it just doesn’t match the front of the haircut at all and even went above my tan line on my neck which looks so bad. I am very embarrassed to rock this haircut and thought she would have at least cut the hair to my tan line at the very least. Bummer.

I am so glad I found Christine, The Pixie Barber. When I decided to chop my medium length hair a few months ago, I went to the first person who had an opening, and ended up with a shorter version of a long haircut - not at all what I wanted! Christine was able to clean it up and leave me with the perfect cut. If you’ve had short hair for a while, you know that cutting short hair is not the same as cutting long hair - it’s a completely different process and skill set. If you’re ready for a chop, do it right the first time and go to the one person in town who specializes in short styles - pixie, bixie, wixie, bob or anything else!

Christine is amazing! I had been struggling for awhile trying to find a stylist that I liked. I was trying to figure out what to do, growing my hair out from a pixie cut. She was so helpful and listened to what I wanted and worked her magic. I'm so happy that I found her!

I've been seeing Christine for almost 2 years and she is just as amazing as she was the first time she cut my hair! I had struggled maintaining my short hair because it is so difficult to find stylists who really know how to cut short hair. Christine is in a catergory of her own! She is also kind, thoughtful and really listens to what you want.

I took a flier on Christine because I found her solely through a Google Search. I had recently moved to SLC and I didn't love the stylist I was using. I decided to find a new one when my stylist decided she was going to only do extensions and color. Since I have short hair, it was time to find a stylist that actually wanted me as a client. I also wanted to transition my hair to my natural (gray) color. Christine talked me through what we would do and how long it would take. She did a great job transitioning the color and I'm decided to rock a shorter cut for a while. She's great and she's now my SLC hair person. I know she will take care of me no matter what length or color I want my hair to be.

Christine is so kind and patient - I just feel right at home when I go to her. I wasn’t sure what I wanted when I arrived at my last appointment. She took the time to help me figure it out and I left with a great cut, feeling cute again :) Highly recommend!

My haircut looked good and Christine was really nice, but I do want to warn away anyone from what felt like overpricing. I got my hair cut from a long bob (barely at my shoulders) to a short bob (about to my jaw). The plumbing was out so I couldn’t do a wash—which was totally fine, not blaming anyone for plumbing. I also requested it not be styled. So, I used zero of the salon’s product, got a very uncomplicated cut… and still paid $145. Oof. 😭

I am relatively new to the SLC Valley, so finding someone to cut my pixie was a little daunting. I kissed a few frogs unfortunately, but found Christine before I gave up and went totally postal. She is simply amazing...she listened to my concerns about my previous stylist and gave me a cut that makes me feel so happy and the most like me that I have felt in a really long time. I am excited to see her again in 6 weeks, and again and again after that.

Christine is awesome. I'm glad she started expanding the types and styles of cuts she does to include men's hair. She's been cutting and styling my wife's hair for almost 2 years now and has always done an amazing job. Now that she's doing men's cuts, I booked an appointment and was so glad I did. Completely professional and efficient, while also being very attentive to my preferences. I love my cut. Already booked my next appointment and can't wait!

Had a great experience with Christine! She did a really nice job with the cut and styling. I'm fairly particular about my hair and Christine nailed it. I found Christine through my wife who started seeing her when she was making some big changes to her hair. I am a huge fan of that result too! I'll be back.

I will start this off strong by saying that in the end, I ended up kind of enjoying the haircut, even though initially I wasn't entirely a fan and thought it was too short. After I took a shower, and bought a beanie, I realized that the haircut I received was absolutely made for the holy and mighty beanie. My hair feels soft and healthy, and my hairstylist was able to get a lot of the gross green I had stained in my hair, which I am assuming is the point of the cut being so short. I mean, like, also this is a pixie haircut place, so hey! You get what you sign up for. 10/10, super friendly! Might come again, we'll have to see.

I wore wigs for 5-6 years, covering hair my loss. My hair grew back and I finally wanted the wigs OFF. And Christine worked her MAGIC. I haven't felt real confidence in years and she gave that to me. Will be going to her again and again. She was kind, loved her energy, and so easy to talk to.

Such a good experience. I really appreciate how Christine listened and was honest with me about the cut and style I wanted. She was able to fix and correct a previous barbers work for me and really just made me feel comfortable. She took her time, which was such a nice change. I will definitely be rebooking with her and if you’re looking for a new barber check her out you won’t be disappointed.
