I saw Mecia for my pre-wedding haircut after crossing paths at a networking event and exchanging info. I am so pleased with the results. I feel so pretty! I have been visiting the Parlour for a few years now and absolutely love it. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing and the team of stylists work together to make sure every client is taken care of with knowledge and skill. Whether it's getting my color touched up or a wax, I have full confidence in this solid team. It is obvious that they are all lead very well by the salon manager who freely shares her guidance and experience. And the scalp massage at the shampoo bowl is icing on the perfect visit. I highly recommend.

Had Ashley & Leah as hair/make up stylists for my wedding. Ashley was extremely rude to my bridesmaids. She also did an AWFUL job at my trial and then pretended she had no idea what the problem was. Will never be using Parlour again.

This salon is the whole package, welcoming and friendly, great product options, full service menu and amazing stylists. I saw Stepheni and she absolutely crushed it! My hair was grown out and in need of a blonde refresh. I shared some photos of my expectations and she nailed it! Great conversation, shampoo and style to complete the service. I will definitely be back and highly recommend The Parlour, specifically Stepheni for all your hair needs!

I absolutely loved my experience at The Parlour with Grace. She has now done my hair color, wedding hair and make-up trial, and wedding hair and make-up for me. She is not only extremely talented, but kind, sweet, quick, and so accommodating. The rest of the gals at The Parlour are also extremely sweet- we just loved our experience getting ready here on my wedding day and would highly recommend it to other bridal parties :)

I would LITERALLY trust Bekah with my life at this point. I’ve been getting my hair cut here for about a year now and can honestly say that no one has done a better haircut and style for me than Bekah so I’m going to keep coming back. They also do a lot of bridal hair so I will definitely be choosing this place for my wedding necessities! This isn’t your average hair salon, it really feels like you have a friend that has your best interests at heart that is doing your hair❤️

Bekah did a great job and was super nice and actually listened to what i wanted while staying in my budget which i appreciated!! She worked great with another stylists mistake on my hair. I’ve been looking for a stylist in GR and I’m glad I found one I can stick with. I got in quickly to her schedule and she was quick while I was there as well. Go see Bekah!!!

Cute hotel. Great location. Good restaurant prices and a nice happy hour. It is a bit pricey but I didn’t have an issue with that. The only annoying thing is there’s no parking. It’s all a paid parking garage offsite- which is subject to availability.

Participated in a wedding preparation here; some parts were great, others not at all. First off, wedding prep begins at 8:30 but they will let you in anytime after 8. The food offerings were quite good although not exactly as expected, i.e. I expected warm bagels but they were cold and not toasted. Overall the taste for everything was good. The lounge area for wedding parties is a nice size and gets lots of natural light, so it was enjoyable to spend time there. I next had my hair done, which went well. The stylist was nice, the hair looked good and as expected and didn’t take too long. The worst part was the makeup. I was taken a half hour before needing to leave for the wedding ceremony, so everything was rushed. The girl who did my makeup did not do a great job and also did not offer basic options like eyelash curling without my suggestion. She even had me put on my own mascara because she was scared to get too close to my open eyes. I felt like I could have done my entire face of makeup better and in the same amount of time. Very disappointed. I noted my displeasure to the receptionist when paying but she could not reduce the price of my services because I was locked into a wedding party contract rate, which was disappointing.

Wedding Hair - The Parlour GR Highly recommend! 5 of us got our hair done, and we were all finished in 1 hour 15 minutes between two stylists. My trial went very well and my stylist Grace recommended a blowout the day before my wedding to control my crazy curly hair which I’m so glad I did. LOVED my wedding day hair! I wanted a Kim K slicked back low bun and that’s exactly what I got.

Bekah made sure to give me exactly what I was looking for in color while also being realistic about how we could execute what I wanted. Bekah made sure I was comfortable and talked through her plan to make sure I knew what would happen next so there were no surprises. The best salon experience I've had in Grand Rapids! I stopped by for a service with Rebekah and was blown away by her professionalism, kindness and attention to detail. This place is so nice!! My hair needed some serious help - it was super dry and SUPER dead. Bekah is the absolute sweetest! She is so kind and I had a blast chatting with her. She completely transformed my hair, and it has never been healthier. She cut it perfectly, and she gave me great tips on how to keep it hydrated and healthy. All of my friends who have gone to her have said the same - she is amazing!
