I was looking for a great hair salon in Folsom, CA, so I googled "hair salons in Folsom" and came across The Parlor Salon. Scheduling an appointment with Selby turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made! Selby is truly talented—she listened to what I wanted and gave me a fantastic haircut that exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail and professionalism were top-notch. The salon itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made the experience even better. If you’re looking for the best haircuts in Folsom, The Parlor Salon is the place to go. I fell in love with Violette immediately. I was nervous and not sure what I wanted, bangs was the only request I had. The color, the bangs, and the cut exceeded my expectations. Then I went back to try a Keratin treatment. I am on day 7 and still LOVING everything about it. Super soft, no frizz, easy to style. The amount of compliments I have gotten on my hair sure reflects her work. I will not trust my hair with anyone else. Customer for Life

Update: This place is not here anymore technically. It’s been replaced by Plush Aesthetics. Is this place even open? I have called them, requested an appointment (twice), and have yet to hear back. I’m only in town for 4 days and would have liked to get a cut from Selby again…

I booked four days in advance. Hair stylist told me she needed to push the appointment for an hour later. I got there when she asked. Waited another 20 minutes and still no service. What really got me was when I got there. I got my hair stylist name wrong by mistake (it was my first time) and the receptionist assumed I was in the wrong salon. I honestly felt like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman trying to buy a dress I wasn't good enough for. Definitely won't be back.

Recently, I saw Sarah for a haircut for the first time. Not only she's an amazing person, she is very talented and knowledgeable at cutting hair. I have lived in the area for about ten years and Sarah is the first hair stylist who didn't mess up my hair. She took her time to make my hair beautiful. I highly recommend her.

Sarah has done such a good job every time I've come in! She knows how to work with my hair type and has guided me through what would work best for me when I've been unsure of what I wanted. I always look and feel great every time I go in, and it's always a nice and relaxing experience because she's super friendly and kind. Definitely give her a try!

Sarah is just amazing! I’ve been going to her for about 6 months now and I always leave feeling great! I’m pretty new to highlighting and coloring my hair, but she is extremely knowledgeable and always does a wonderful job. She’s taken my hair from light to dark and back to light, and never misses! I highly recommend her!

Sarah is truly an artist. She took me to the exact color blonde on my first visit that I’ve been trying to get other stylists to take me to for years. She’s very friendly and knowledgeable and pleasant to be around. Also very gentle, as I have very long hair that tangles easily. I 1000% recommend her.

Sarah was the best! Sweet talented young woman. She took care of my daughters hair so effortlessly. I loved the atmosphere and her work. I got myself a haircut also by Sarah. I recommend her to my sister in law, she also loved her hair! Definitely recommend!

They don’t have good customer service I called more than 20 times to make an appointment after 20 times someone picked up the call and she said I’ll let Sara to call you back, and I wait 2 days I haven’t receive any response and I call them back after 2 days same thing no one answer my call It was my first experience 👎👎👎👎

Absolutely love Haylee! She's super sweet, knowledgeable, and talented. I really enjoyed her helpful tips on how to give my hair more volume because my hair can get pretty flat (like Flat Stanley). I especially loved how she washed my hair because she's thorough and gave me a relaxing neck massage. A lot of places I've been to before rush through the hair washing process, so having a good wash and massage was a real treat. Haylee also showed me how to successfully curl my hair and gave me tips on how to keep them. I love my hair and so I glad I found a hair stylist that gets me. I shall definitely be coming back to The Parlor Hair Salon!

I just moved up from LA and was sad to leave my stylist of 7 years but now I have found my new salon (and I drive from East Sac!). It's a beautiful, welcoming space that was obviously crafted with intentional love and care. Selby is not only a great hair stylist, but super sweet and I really enjoy our hair styling chats.

I just saw Haylee for a full highlight, gloss and cut. She did the most amazing shade of blonde and actually got me brighter than any other stylist. I have been trying to go more blonde for months now. She was so thorough and didn’t take any shortcuts with my color or haircut. She nailed it. You can tell she knows her stuff when it comes to hair. I had the best shampoo of my life as well. She is definitely worth the money. I can’t wait to come back!

I moved here from Alabama and was nervous about finding a new stylist. Selby, the owner, is phenomenal! I set up an appointment for a cut and she made my hair look so healthy and full of body and she is so easy to talk to! The salon is gorgeous too! If you need a new stylist or want to try someone different you definitely need to go to The Parlor and see Selby! 🥰

After moving to the area I dreaded trying to find a new salon. You could say that I have trust issues when it comes to hair stylists. lol. I have been fortunate to have gone to some elite places and seen award winning stylists. But I'm here to say that Selby did not disappoint! She is absolutely wonderful to work with. She takes her time, is detailed and meticulous. Not only is her work beautiful but she is so warm, sweet and welcoming. I was happy to see she uses Kevin Murphy products, which are so luxurious yet healthy. The salon is very calming, classy and charming,. I highly recommend.

Great salon, my stylist is Nicole and she is amazing! Had several things done with her, Brazilian, color, highlights and cuts. All was done perfect and to add to that she is a very sweet and professional stylist. I walk out of The Parlor Salon always feeling great! Highly recommend Nicole!!!

I’m really picky when it comes to hair styles. I have not found anyone who has become consistent because I can’t get them to deliver the exact look I want. Selby took time to listen and explain the details of what she was going to do. I left with exactly what I wanted and a ton of excellent styling tips. Will be using the Parlor Salon and Selby Jimmerson from now on! Can’t express my satisfaction and thankfulness enough.
