Had a 50 minute massage with Molly last week and she was fabulous! I have a monthly massage membership here, it's a simple spa purpose built for massages and the staff is lovely. They've curated a very relaxing environment and I always look forward to my visit here

I did a sports massage with Jennifer and it was one of the best massages I've ever had. She was incredibly intuitive and worked on areas that really needed attention. I had better range of motion in a shoulder that had been bothering me for a long time. I'll definitely be requesting more time with her

I’ve been coming here for a monthly message for about 9 months. Every massage has been amazing, and leaves me refreshed and ready to take on my month. Molly is an amazing massage therapist. She’s very professional and soothing and takes into account my needs and concerns before every appointment. Overall the ambiance at Now is very calming and professional. The customer service is amazing, and while they do try to upsell their add-ons at every appointment, it’s done very thoughtfully and I don’t feel pressured to try things I don’t want to. That said I do like adding gua sha when I want a deeper massage. It’s very reasonably priced.

I had a problem with my right shoulder and I had asked for a deep massage. Their lobby looked professional. I assume that they were, but they wanted all of my Private and personal information. After realizing that the massage I received, was not worth my walking into the door. I didn't want to argue for my money back. I actually gave them $300 in cash and asked them to remove All of my private information that they did not need. I did not tell them that I'm represented by five major law firms that I, sue states and governors throughout the United States. I live in and out of the country and I travel the world. I have had massages throughout the Pacific and Europe for the last decade. I have never seen such incompetency in terms of a massage he did not do the whole back. He did one section and did not turn me over. I asked for deep tissue and I got a weak pat instead. I told them, that I would ask my bank to charge my cc card. back . Cuz, I did not want them to have any more information on me....I gave them $300 (I was only there for about 45 minutes) in cash and told The receptionist to not run my credit card and remove all of my information. My entertuitive feeling was that my personal information was subjected to a possibility that vendors nowadays sell, your personal data. That is why I asked to have all of my personal data removed from their website. I would recommend you do the same. George

The Now is an excellent place to receive massage therapy. I have been going there for sometime. My recent massage therapist, Molly Smithies gave me an exceptional massage. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. Would recommend her to everyone looking for a quality massage!

This was probably the worst massage I’ve ever had. I usually go to Yuan Spa in Bellevue, but decided to book this place last minute since they had availability. I booked “The Stretch” which was supposed to emulate a sports massage or perhaps deep tissue? Unsure now that I’ve experienced it. The massage therapist discussed my problem areas with me prior, which I liked. We agreed on focusing on my upper and lower back, and shoulders. I did tell her I liked firm pressure, but it was almost like she was jabbing her elbow into me and gliding the length of my back and legs. She also spent very little time on my back and shoulders, and more time on my legs? She also massaged my hands twice. Again, unsure. It almost seemed like she was manipulating my sheets more than the knots in my back. She was also pulling on my legs (maybe this was the stretch aspect) but literally dragged me down the massage table more than a couple inches. I left my appointment feeling worse off. When I got home I noticed a new area of my back was aching and almost felt like I pulled a muscle. I came to this place to relieve the knots and muscle aches, not worsen it.

Skip this place if you can. I had a 50-minute Swedish massage a week ago, and it was easily the worst experience ever. - First of all, I got itch rashes appearing around my neck and stomach immediately after the massage which is lasting over a week (it's actually spreading). I've never experienced anything like this before and I've gotten many massages over the years from several different providers. (I had one similar experience after getting a massage in Vietnam, where the sheets probably weren't getting cleaned often enough.) I think the oil they used caused the rash around my neck, so I asked them what product they used, and they didn't even answer. - Secondly, it was the worst massage I've ever had. It was more of rubbing oil around than massage. I asked the therapist twice if she could apply more pressure, but she never did anything different. And it definitely felt like the therapist didn't know what she was doing in terms of where and how to apply pressure. - Lastly, the setup is really weird. Each "room" is divided only with curtains, so I could hear rustlings and whispers from the next room, even with the loud wave sound they played the entire time. Also, it's so dark with red tinged light, you can't really see much (like how clean the sheets are!) First I thought I was just unlucky with the therapist that day, so I was just going to let it go. But with spreading rashes reminding me every day how bad the whole experience was, I contacted them and asked if I could get a refund for a gift card I got from my friend because I am basically scared to go back, risking another bout of rashes. And their response wasn't that satisfying. They didn't answer the question or address the issue of rashes. Instead, they just offered $25 deep tissue add-on. Reading other reviews here, I see that I am not the only one who had this bad experience and that this is how they run their business. I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you want a stress-free, relaxing experience.

I had my first appointment at NOW and to say I was disappointed is an understatement so I wanted to provide feedback directly to the GM was disappointed with that outcome so sharing here. I got The Now50 plus scalp renewal. - My massage was supposed to start at 5:30, and it started at 5:40. While I normally wouldn’t mind, my massage then ended at 6:20 (my massage was 40 minutes). - I got the added treatment (scalp massage) which does not get you any added time, it just gets added to the 50 minute massage (this is not stated on the added treatment page or FAQ). - This was not a full body massage. My massage was just back, chest, head and shoulders. Had I known this was not a full body massage (not even arms and hands) I wouldn’t haven’t booked it. Given the price is comparable to all other full body massages I’ve had, I assumed this was the case. Also recommend adding to FAQs. I reached out to the GM and asked for a partial refund for my experience and they offered me to come back to reset my experience, which I am not interested in. Sharing so no one else has a similar experience to mine.

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. They don’t know what they’re doing. I had an hour long massage if you can call it that and I got the extra cupping. The guy who is giving me a massage had no idea what cupping meant. He rubbed one cup on my back for five minutes and then put the cups away and gave me what you could describe as a body lathering with lotion. Wasn’t a massage was just applying lotion to my skin in the cupping was a joke. Bad start to my Birthday.

Front desk staff are so lovely! Unfortunately that was the worst massage I’ve ever gotten. I actually got up and left early. Pretty much just paid for someone to put lotion on me. Also, the “enhancements” sound much nicer than they actually are. Not worth it.

I wanted to share my experience from my recent massage. While the ambience with the ocean sounds and location was quite pleasant, unfortunately, I left feeling very uncomfortable overall. My therapist asked 2 questions ( area & level of intensity ) but the massage technique used was strange and unfamiliar, which made the entire session awkward and uncomfortable. It felt more like someone was simply rubbing oil on my back rather than providing a proper massage. I decided to stay to the entire session because I already paid for it, but I wanted to leave after the first 10 mins. Additionally, there was a peculiar smell in the room that detracted from what should have been a relaxing atmosphere. Towards the end of the session, I felt particularly disappointed. It seemed like the therapist was just doing a basic neck rubbing instead of a massage, which did not meet my expectations or the standard I have experienced elsewhere. Based on this visit, I will not be returning or recommending this services to others. I understand that people have different styles, but I believe there is a need for improvement in ensuring that all aspects of the massage, including technique and overall comfort and align with customers' expectations.

The atmosphere at the NOW is incredibly healing. Joe carefully listened to my treatment goals and provided an outstanding massage tailored to my body's needs. He asked thoughtful questions throughout the session. I highly recommend the NOW for relaxation and rejuvenation, especially if you need targeted attention to specific areas. I'm eager to explore the additional services and benefits of the membership. Looking forward to my next massage!

Cool space, bad massage. Oddest massage I’ve ever experienced, with no actual tissue / muscle massaging. I almost asked him to stop and walked out. When I spoke to a manager, they discounted my service 20% which was nice, and offered me to meet with a different therapist… but not complimentary. While I get there are personal styles, the bad massage I had wasn’t due to lack pressure. Rubbing oil on someone is not a massage. Super disappointed by this service.

I’m so glad that I found The Now Massage in Fremont. Customer service is outstanding. Prices are reasonable and booking an appointment is super easy. The ambiance is relaxing, and I love all the natural elements used throughout the spa. Bonus points for displaying an ocean sound in the background - it evokes a sense of natural tranquility and can help calm the mind.

I'm no rookie to massages, but this place definitely exceeded all my priorities experiences. By far the best massage I've received. The atmosphere, aroma, sound, setting, and customer service hit 10s in my book. I plan on becoming a member for sure.
