My kids and I have been coming to this salon on and off for years. Started with Ruth, then Irene, and now Tikque who is literally my favorite. Tikque is super talented, I just didn’t like the way she did our hair this particular time. I am a former hair model for, Babyliss Pro, Wella, Arrojo, and others in NYC, ATL, California, New Orleans, and NC, so I take pride in our hair. It’s hard to find a great stylist in SC. I scheduled an appointment with Tikque for my daughter and I for her Kindergarten graduation, so this was big for us. Our trained hair, messed up in the salon, after hours of sitting. (We also made sure we kept our hair protected so that it would be beautiful for her big day, (after she fixed the problems)the following morning)That cost me $150. I politely explained that to Irene, and she politely declined a refund. Very surprising being as I have never had a complaint before. She offered to do it over but that defeats the purpose of getting it done for my daughter’s Kindergarten graduation.

This was my daughter 1st time getting her hair done at a salon. Irene was highly recommended and when I spoke with her over the phone and she was friendly. I was impressed how soon she was able to get my daughter an appt . Irene did a great job and my daughter was happy with the outcome of her hair.

The lady's at the salon were sweet, however the one that cut my hair seemed distracted. I came in asking for a hair cut and eyebrow wax. First of all, it took her several attempts to finally get almost all the hair off leaving some of it undone. Secondly she completely forgot I asked for a haircut so when she was about to take me to the front I had to remind her. Lastly, when I showed her a picture of what I wanted done (to add another layer) she didn't even look at it and I got home to find out she only added a layer to one side...

The hair braider that styled my daughter's hair is quick, efficient and polite. The lady at reception area or whatever probably would've been pleasant if I didn't have my other 3 kids with me. But as a parent sometimes your only free time is when you have all you kids with you. So just have a babysitter or something bcz she was unpleasant the moment we stepped in bcz we were taking up seats in the waiting area. We ended up sitting outside.
