Taelor scheduled a hair appointment for my daughter’s prom on 3/6 for 4/13. She asked for payment in full upfront. Payment sent through Venmo per her request in full. On the day of prom, my daughter and I arrive to the salon to find the door locked. We were a couple of minutes early, so we waited. At the time of the appointment I called Taelor to find out how to get in and she sends a message back saying her mom passed earlier in the week and she would not be in today. She did not reach out to us at all to notify of this canceled appointment. She told me that another local salon was handling her clients and when asked where that was, she told me to put it into GPS. I called the new salon and they had no idea she had prom hair today and had no appointments, but was able to work her in. I had to pay for this service again. I waited 5 days for a refund that never came. I sent a Venmo refund request and reminder. When I inquired about the refund, she told me “mam, respectfully we only issue refunds by paper check” and told me to go another business on 4/26 (almost two weeks later) to pick up the check. We show up today for the paper check, and it’s more excuses. She doesn’t have access to her checks, blah blah blah. AVOID THIS PERSON AT ALL COSTS!!!!!! While we were going around doing all of prom prep, no one in her field had anything nice to say about her and apparently has done this many times to many people, including wedding parties. I regret ever being referred to her!

I’m having the same issues other reviewers on are having. She told me to I have to pay upfront to secure my daughters spot for prom hair and makeup. I paid her through Venmo month’s in advance. Taelor Hodge had to cancel the appointment because of an unfortunate death in her family. I completely understood. Taelor told me she’d refund me when she got back in town. Never her back from her until I sent a text asking about it 2 weeks later. She told me she could only write a paper check but I told her that I couldn’t wait that long. Taelor then said that if I absolutely had to have it now, she’d give me cash and a receipt. I said cash was fine. I asked her what hours she’d be at at the new location and she never replied until I texted her again later this evening and then she acted like it was my fault for asking to have these communications via text instead of over the phone. She’s trying to blow it off so nobody gets refunded. We might have to take her to court to get our money back.

Taelor saved my hair from a disaster hair cut and is the most friendliest and sweetest woman I’ve ever met, she really took her time with me and eased my anxiety about getting it cut a little bit more to fix what another salon did. Her salon is so cute and the atmosphere is amazing!

I can’t recommend this salon ENOUGH! I LOVE MY HAIR! I have used Taelor for several year! She did my wedding, and birthday make up and hair and all the random times in between! She is my go to every time! Book her! Show her a picture and she can duplicate it! 😍😍😍

So how many good things can I say about this Salon? There is not enough space. I use full spectrum of services and have NEVER had an issue from a razor cut to french nails. If I were getting married - they would be doing EVERYBODY because then everybody would be beautifully styled and smiling. This place really is all about well being and as important as looking good - they make you feel good about yourself. Reasonably priced for priceless service......just sayin'

Taelor is an amazing stylist and knows what she is doing. She is super friendly and easy to talk to, and she does all she can to make time for her clients. I always leave feeling confident and beautiful everytime she touches my hair. I am very happy and grateful to have found a long term stylist I can count on. You rock Taelor!

When I need a mental health boost I find myself in this salon! I receive compliments ALL THE TIME on my hair color and style! Tae is a true artist! She examines my hair tells me what will work and what will take a bit longer to achieve! I have NEVER felt more confident then when she does my hair! The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing! I leave there with gorgeous hair, a self-confidence boost, and having made life-long connections! The Loft Salon is Cleveland’s best kept secret! This is my forever and ONLY Salon!

Very pretty salon. My first visit I wasn’t told there would be a fee for my consultation to discuss options for my wedding. At my pre-wedding hair and makeup appointment the door was locked and no one was there. I called numerous times and left messages while at the front door. She finally called me. She said she overslept/phone was dead, had a volleyball meet and didn’t get in until late. I waited outside the salon until her daughter opened the door (about 1 hr). I Had to reschedule ultimately. She was late to my wedding. My hair fell down all night and the wedding planner was having to fix it all night and my granddaughters hair was didn’t set either. I so commend her for putting her children first, however having a business to run at the same time leaves your customers frustrated and disappointed. I’d ask for my money back but really don’t want to waist any more time.

I cannot express just how amazing this salon is! Taelor saved my hair from a complete disaster that was given to me from another salon. She was so very sweet and explained everything so well and absolutely turned my hair from horrible to gorgeous!! The atmosphere is very light and welcoming. I will never go anywhere but here from now on!

Becky Weeks is the best at color and cut, period! I came in with damaged, dry hair that was in need of new color. I showed her some ideas I liked, she offered her expert advice and went to work. The aftermath was amazing! It was not only beautifully cut and colored, it was so SOFT!! I receive compliments all the time. I found my new and forever salon.
