I recently visited The L salon in New Paltz, and I couldn't be happier with my experience! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The ambiance of the salon is chic and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. I went in for a haircut and color, and the stylist, Alicia did an amazing job. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered great suggestions to enhance my look. The attention to detail and level of expertise were evident throughout the entire process. I left the salon feeling refreshed and absolutely in love with my new hairstyle. Overall, Alicia exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for top-notch service and a fantastic experience. I'll definitely be returning for my future hair needs!

I’ve been going to L salon since they opened. I love the experience from the time I walk in to the time I leave . I see both Lauren and Samantha. They are both so talented and give me exactly what I’m looking for each time . You cannot go wrong with this salon! Highly recommend!!

Came here on a whim. Normally I do my own hair but I left my hair dryer at my brother's house. Walked in about 90 minutes before closing with no appointment. All I needed was a blow-out (no wash). I have very tightly curly coiled hair and im always hesitant going into salons because there's often no stylist available to do my type of hair texture. The L salon was very welcoming and accommodating. They did not make me feel odd or out of place. Kayla was my stylist and she was gentle with my hair, confirmed if I had products in and she got right to it! She did a great job and seemed comfortable and knowledgeable about what she was doing. Reasonably priced and great vibes. Would definitely return.

Kylie is a miracle worker. In my experience it is hard to find someone who you love equally when it comes to color and cut. Kylie is an expert in both, and I trust his opinion on everything. I usually just come in and tell him to do whatever he wants. The salon’s vibes are great and all the other stylists and employees are friendly and helpful.

Great spot! I'd recommend it to anyone in the area. The space is pretty cool, and all the folks there were quite nice. It was a cheerful environment. This was my first time here, and I got a barber-style haircut (fade with trim) from Edgar. He paid great attention to details, and I thought he did a really nice job. It was great, and I'm stoked on the haircut. Thanks again!!

I had my hair cut, dyed and styled today by Mikayla and let me tell you my hair has never looked better. I’m 50 and have never had a haircut like this in my life. She’s young and fresh just like my new hairdo! Excited to have found this great salon!

I never want to go anywhere else for my hair. The whole team at L Salon always makes me feel so welcome whenever I come in. They fit me in for a last minute trim no problem, and as always did a fantastic job and had me feeling like the best version of me. Shout out to Kylie for my amazing bangs!

I took my two year old son there for a trim. I told the woman cutting his hair multiple times, not to cut it short. I said leave the length, just even it out. She proceeded to cut his hair very short. I am so upset. As she began cutting, I said, it looks too short and she told me, no, there's lots of length. I'm the customer. Please don't go there. It was the worst experience I've ever had in a salon.

The L Salon is my absolute favorite place. Maddy is my primary stylist and she's a color magician! But I pop in often for their wonderful blowouts. Some might say I'm obsessed but you can book a blowout with on of their up and coming syslists for such a great price. Really no matter who you see at The L Salon you will walk away feeling gorgeous!

A great salon with excellent parking and talented, friendly staff. Lauren was fantastic and intuitive. Her passion for hair and continuing education is refreshing and definitely an evident by how she took in what I told her and coupled it with techniques and her knowledge. She didn’t just do what I asked, but cut a style for MY particular hair and lifestyle. I feel like everyone wants to do color these days and I’m sure she’s also talented with that, but to find someone who gives a great cut, now THAT is why I will definitely go back.

I’ve lost count how many times I’ve been here with my sister and my mother. 1st, I would like to mention how accommodating they always are, they fit the three of us all in together every time without fail. 2nd, Karen and Alicia (along with all the other talent there) are absolutely incredible and turn your hair into art by the time you’re walking out. Karen has been doing my dyes and cuts for a while now; I literally don’t trust other salons with my hair knowing someone can FINALLY do it right! 10/10 experience every time I go, I’m finally excited to let someone touch my hair.

Best salon in town. Everyone’s so sweet it’s a fun atmosphere. Lauren’s always learning and growing and improving herself and her staff. You can tell they all love working there. The k18 treatment is the cherry on top

I hadn’t dyed my hair in years, was nervous! Alicia was amazing! Easy going and very good at listening to what I was looking for. Gave me the most beautiful teasy lights. Everyone there was super friendly.

I went to Kiley on the recommendation of a friend (who likely was tired of seeing my bad haircuts before Kiley), and Kiley has done great work. I totally recommend him as a men's hair stylist, especially for men such as I who have difficult hair. I also heartily recommend L Salon. Kiley's colleagues have never failed to provide a warm and attentive welcome during my visits.

I took my daughter to get a biolage done. Our hair stylist Olivia was amazing. Her hair came out beautiful. The salon was very clean and the entire staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend this salon and ask for Olivia. She is very talented.

This was my first visit to the L Spa, and it was a great experience. My stylist , Alicia, Spent A lot of time with me and helping me understand there. Many options for my style. When I wasn’t quite sure which way to go, she made recommendations for my hair type and color. I have thin, blonde hair, which usually has Little volume. This was clearly the best style I’ve ever had, and the most volume I’ve ever had ! In fact, the volume lasted a full week without my having to do any touchup. Alicia was patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable, and I plan to return. does the cost is a little higher than I’m used to, it was well worth the results!
