My daughter and I had a lovely experience this morning! Maddie and Lindsay were very welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. We both had an amazing massage! Spent time in the steam room and sauna, relaxing in our comfy robes. Beautiful and clean facility - we will definitely be back!

Oh my gosh! this place was everything we needed after a day of snowboarding! The ultimate au pres! A private room to take a shower and share a hot tub with my husband and give each other post skiing massages. So amazing. The atmosphere was perfect and jsut the cutest little place. Highly recommend

I saw Ky for a yin facial and she was fantastic. I’m an esthetician myself of 20 years and I can be picky! She has a very therapeutic touch which I appreciate.

My experience with booking via text message was frustrating and time-consuming, as their replies were slow and often repeated questions I had already answered. When I visited, the front desk lady, who had also texted and called me, gave me a rushed two-minute tour, merely naming the rooms without providing any explanations. While she was not unfriendly, she did not create an environment where I felt comfortable asking questions. I had a waxing session, and although it was not the best I've had, the technician was very friendly and explained everything clearly. Also, they just asked for the payment without any explanation or a detailed receipt. While they might offer better customer service and other services, I doubt I will return.

Wish I could give negative stars. This is not a Japanese spa and it's offensive that they call themselves that. My family gifted me a certificate for $330 (BTW authentic onsens are NEVER this expensive and you always get a whole day of the facilities) I had an emergency and could not make it to my appointment. They friggin charged me the entire 330 which was ALREADY PAID FOR BY MY FAMILY TO HELP ME IN A TIME OF GRIEF. I tried to get anything out of it because I felt awful wasting my family's generosity but "sorry that's our policy" what a gentrification capitalist appropriating scam. Way more worth it to just go to another city that has a real onsen jimjilbang or Russian bathhouse. Shame on Kura Door.

Charge you full price because you don't show is crazy! What if you had an emergency, I get it charge a fee but the full amount is ridiculous. Would you like a tip as well?

I recently had a couples massage at the Kura door. Kennedy was my massage therapist and she was exceptional. She took the time to ask about areas I wanted extra work done on, and she listened and spent extra time there. She was so professional, calm, and kind. She is an incredible massage therapist. I highly suggest! My boyfriend had Seneca and he raved about her. He said her pressure was perfect, and that it was one of his best massages ever. Highly suggest requesting either of these therapists. They are both wonderful. I just want to update this and say that last night I got a massage from Jessica and she is so good. Holy cow I felt like I was levitating after. I was stumbling around from how relaxed I felt. I am so grateful. I felt like I could cry after because it was so beneficial and I felt so much better than I previously had. She helped me let go of extreme chronic body pain for an hour, and then I felt the results the next day and I still feel good and 10X better than when I went in. I will be requesting her every time for now on because I just feel so so much better. If you haven’t had the opportunity to receive a massage from her, you should request her. All the therapists here are wonderful though.

Rating a massage spa depends greatly on the therapist who works on you. I gave the Kira Door five stars because Kierstie was incredible. Going in, I had an expectation of what a good massage was going to be—but she blew that out of the water. By far the best massage I’ve ever received.

I had wonderful facial today: super thorough and relaxing, a lovely aesthetician. Unfortunately I had an unpleasant encounter with the young, gum chewing receptionist at checkout who insisted repeatedly that my gift card had already been used and had a zero balance. Fortunately I had brought the paper copy of my gift card with me and she realized she had entered the wrong information. No real apology was given. I hope I don’t have to deal with her again if I return.

I was able to experience The Kura Door for the first time yesterday with my sisters and we discussed how we wished we have been there before. It is such a beautiful place and had such a zen feeling about it. I had the Yin and Yang facial by Alexis A. She was amazing and did such a great job! She was gentle and really paid attention to what my skin needed. It was the best facial I have ever had! Alexis went above and beyond! I will definitely be back!

The spa experience is wonderful. The booking experience was a nightmare. I'd rather go somewhere that is lesser quality and easier to book. When they moved my appointment back months because of an error on their side, they offered me a 10% discount. Not worth the cost or head ache.

This is one of the most relaxing spa experiences I’ve had anywhere in the world. They do a great job of giving you flexibility to be in the waiting room, meditation room, sauna or steam room before or after your scheduled treatment. I work just down the street from this location as a Realtor so I will definitely be going back regularly!
