I sent my step mother here she needed a major revamp. Marie was able to get her in same day despite her busy schedule and she looks and feels like a new woman! She used some serious TLC in all ways with my stepmom and she loved every moment of it. Thank you!

I have been getting my manicures and pedicures with Linda Tran for 3 years and I highly recommend her. Linda spends time giving you a quality treatment! Her space is clean and her tools are sanitized for every client. My reason for giving 4 stars is the nail technicians are too close to the hair stylists and the noise does not allow for a relaxing spa experience if that is what you are seeking. I will continue to go to Linda bc she does amazing work!

I have had my nails done by Linda and her work was superior. No chipping, no color loss, no problems at all! I highly recommend making an appointment with her if you want great service. The only downside is that the salon can be very loud which makes relaxing difficult at times.

Meh. Basic, not great. Not sure what the 5 star reviews are about. The stylists talk about their experience, but they just do basic cookie cutter cuts. They don't cut according to you, your look. So if that style happens to look good on you, then you lucked out.

Absolutely the worst customer service in this business experienced! And by the owner Terry. Wife came in after we called to get a simple cut and blow dry. In fairness she did say starts at $50. When we went quickly looked at my wife and raised to $75. No problem my wife said. Hair was washed and my wife sat on the chair. And again the wining started I’m busy not sure we have enough time and that continued. And then said $75 is not enough. Really!! What’s the deal…keep raising the charge until you frustrate the customer and they pay? If you want a hit and run salon that is your place. Wife walked out with wet hair. Terry did not care!

After 40 yrs The Island Salon is now known as Island Salon and Spa. Newly renovated and all stylists and technicians have experience for 20 yrs or longer. Stop by as soon as you can before we get completely booked for the Holidays and the season.

Always been great we me! Terrie has gone above and beyond - especially when I’ve waited too long to get back for a haircut! Never changed price or even hinted about it. Changes to the inside by new owner are fantastic, too!!

I have been going to Terrie for over 6 years. Her past experiences working in television with major stars and with ESPN is why I went to her for a consultation the first time and have been going to her for all my styling needs since. She has colored, highlighted, cut, styled, blowouts, hair hydration treatments, gloss, and Keratin straightening. She has done it all professionally and I immensely enjoy our conversations. Some of my appointments have been a process, not a one and done based on what I wanted. She explained in detail how it would be done in the various stages. The old adage, you get what you pay for holds true. I highly recommend Terrie and Island Salon for all your hair needs.

Love this place. Have been going to Terrie for 10 years for my hair cuts, color, and set ‘n style. So accommodating to my crazy schedule, and she works miracles with my very challenging hair. Worth the price. My hair easily keeps it set for a week. I constantly get compliments from both friends and strangers on the street.

Such an awesome experience with Terrie Irwin!! My hairdresser for the past 9 years, since I lived here in Paradise, stopped cutting hair and I was very nervous going to someone new. Terrie did more than an amazing color and cut/style for me, it is a fresh awesome new look!! Very professional and experienced, and a great person. After reading the reviews for this salon, and especially for Mary, I gave it a shot. Mary was absolutely amazing. I’m usually hesitant about trying new people when it comes to my hair. Mary is so sweet, pleasant to talk with, and she does amazing hair. I was super impressed with my color and cut. I found my new hairdresser!! I would HIGHLY recommend Mary.

I made an appointment for a haircut and was fortunate to get Mary. I wear my hair short and punky and have lots of cowlicks. Mary did a great job of restyling it and it has never looked so good and stylish. Wish I could import her to my home town in Ohio. Plus she is so easy and enjoyable to talk to. I seldom write reviews but Mary deserves my time to praise her.
