Ashlee is an incredibly gifted stylist. She has an amazing intuition with haircuts and color/highlights. While traveling I've worked with other stylists and I've found none that compare to her skills. She is the absolute best! She is also so funny and easy to be around. She was great with my kids too. The Hive salon has a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I look forward to my next appointment!

Cassandra has been doing my hair for a while now and I can't say enough nice things about her. She takes time to really understand what look you're going for, is very honest about what can't and can be done and is very knowledgable. I always leave with great hair and a good experience. Plus, she's super nice! The salon is adorable too.

I am not a person who frequents the salon, as I find many times the experience feels very cliquish and uncomfortable. The minute I walked through the door I felt very welcomed and I loved the atmosphere. I walked away with a hairstyle I absolutely love and I will not be going anywhere else! I highly recommend The Hive!

Laura and the team at Hive are incredibly talented! She always listens closely to what I’m looking for, whether it’s an updo, new hairstyle or a trim. She also taught me how to finally manage my wavy/curly hair in the Florida heat. Couldn’t recommend the salon more!

i loveee this salon! growing up my parents only ever took me to generic areas like super cuts before school time (and i always hated it). i grew out my hair to my waist and in march decided it was time to cut. i recently went back to trim because i loved it so much and i cannot express how good the experience is! i was remembered from my appointment 6 months ago and they were even lenient with rescheduling due to dental work! as long as i’m in the area i’ll always choose to schedule here. always really nice and a fun time

Update: I've been going here for almost 3 years and still absolutely LOVE the Hive. It's a great group of creative stylists and a fun atmosphere. I still go to Laura and yes, she is still priceless! Laura is priceless! She is helping me recover from a bad haircut I got before I moved here without all the awkward stages. The color is fantastic and exactly what I wanted. I can not say enough good things about her skills. Plus, she's a wonderful person to talk to 😀

Cassandra has done my hair for 2 years now and helped cure it of years of heat damage that it’s the healthiest it’s ever been! I always LOVE the colors she does on my hair, pics are recently from my wedding two weeks after a color appointment with her and I couldn’t be happier with how it looked! She is always a joy to see and the Hive is a great atmosphere, 10/10 recommend!

The Hive is the best hair salon in St. Pete! I get my haircut by Ashlee and she always does an amazing job, not to mention she’s hilarious and a great person to be around. I’m so glad my friend referred me to this place. The pre-haircut head massage is the best!

Laura's talents are Epic! She's a great stylist and a bright spot in any day. With curly hair that grows in random directions - picture a rough guinea pig - Laura is the only stylist I've ever found who could tame it. Thanks Laura! Love your place!

What a fantastic salon!! The space is beautifully chic, and the team makes you feel right at home. Scheduling is a breeze, the scalp massages are phenomenal, and I am over the moon happy with my cut. I’m in the process of growing out my bangs, and Cassandra knew just what to do to make new curtain bangs pop. The ladies are incredibly knowledgeable about products, treatments, and different hair types, and ask all the right questions to give you the look you need for your lifestyle. Not to mention the energy in there is so enjoyable!! Thank you for a wonderful experience; I’ll see you soon for my next appointment!
