As a black woman with long, natural hair, it has been a life-long challenge finding the right hairdresser that is comfortable AND knowledgeable when it comes to its care. After numerous bad experiences that left me with damaged and, as a result, increasingly difficult to manage hair, I found Precious. We started my hair care adventure over a year ago and I can’t speak highly enough of the results. My hair is the happiest and healthiest it’s ever been! Plus, she is an excellent teacher. I’ve learned SO many tips and tricks to continue my hair care regimen at home and I continue to have flawless results. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, genuine human that has your hair’s (and your) best interest in mind, I can’t recommend Precious enough. Should I leave the state of Colorado, I will be flying back to continue receiving excellent service.

I’ve been seeing Precious as my trusted healthy hair advisor for over a decade and we have truly grown together. It’s thanks to her that I have freed myself of thinking I needed to relax my hair every 4 months and have been natural since September 2020. Since then, my hair is the healthiest, longest and happiest it has ever been. Precious has been an educator, my hair cheerleader and a trusted advisor in my natural hair care journey and I am so very thankful to not only call her my Hair Queen but also my friend! If you are looking for a salon to call home, I highly recommend you run, don’t walk to The Hair Fetish Experience!

This place is a money grab. The price that is on their website and the price that Jen give which is $100 per hour for hair coloring is two different thing. Don't recommend!

Vicki was really friendly and did an awesome job on my hair. The salon has a good vibe and is well kept. I got a highlight done. She worked quickly and my hair turned out beautiful and most importantly HEALTHY! Their prices are really fair and they take good care of ya! I’ll definitely be returning here.

Jen is NOT mean or negative in anyway, the salon is clean, and I'm sure she has many happy clients. I just was not happy with 2 out of the 3 haircuts she did. Maybe she just didn't like me personally as a client? 7 months after my 3rd haircut, done in April, my hair is now long enough to cut, but after much thought and consideration, I won't be returning to Jen. I did compliment Jen's good Google reviews during the 1st haircut, not the last 2 so, maybe that was the motivation to do a good job with the 1st haircut?

I came into town on a time crunch and didn’t have time to do my hair. Precious came to my rescue! My hair was dry and brittle, she put a special hydration treatment which worked wonders. There’s nothing like leaving the salon and just feeling beautiful. My hair still looked great after week of being in the hot sun sweating! Thank you Precious!

I have been going to Precious for years and let me just say that she is nothing short of amazing. I have been to many hair salons in my 37 years on this planet. You run into a little of everything. You have stylists that don’t listen and just do what they feel would look good, you have stylists that are inexperienced and thus end up damaging your hair. Precious is attentive and experienced. It’s to the point now that when I get in her chair and she asks “so what are we doing today?” I trust her enough to let her do her thing lol.

I have been going to this salon since it opened, and they are the best! No matter which stylist touches my hair, it is great experience! They are professional, get you in and out so you are not spending all day at the salon. Precious successfully took me natural, which was quite the change for this TX girl who was used to relaxers. Also, they are color specialists. When I finally took the leap of faith to change my hair color, it turned out beautiful. Do yourself a favor and book an appointment today!

I really enjoy coming to the shop. Precious has put together a great atmosphere with a clean environment and a lot of knowledge about here. I can come in for any style and someone there knows how to do it. I would recommend this shop fir all hair types.

Jen did a good job on my hair but she wasn’t very personable. This was the first experience I’ve had where I had to stand for the hair cut.. (I sat for the wash/blow dry only) I’m not sure if my experience was due to the fact that I was using a Groupon but that’s what it felt like.. I still tipped off the full amount ($60) because I’m a good person and not because I had a good experience. After reading all of the amazing reviews about her I don’t feel like I experienced the same Jen that everyone else did, maybe it was an off day for her or maybe it was the Groupon..

Best haircut I have had in years! I have long, wavy hair and Jen got my layers so blended and perfect that my waves now pop and flow! I have seen MANY of her other clients' style photos and she clearly has an intuitive understanding of what will enhance your hair's natural lie and then she nails the style!

I went in and showed my stylist Jennifer a pic and she killed It . I have a split color. One side is blonde and one side is black. My blonde is so beautiful and compliments the black. I have gotten so many compliments. Not only that she cut my hair exactly how I told her I like It . She’s professional and listened to all my hair needs. Very pleased. And I definitely will be going back to her

I’d been looking for a place to get my hair done for a while, due to my past experience I have yet to be satisfied, in a Salon setting, which is why I had reservation of going to one., and thought I’d check this place out, after researching Hair Fetish online. There seemed to be a variety of skilled stylist there. Went in to inquired about the service/style I wanted, spoke to Jen, showed her the picture of the style according to a picture, Jen said yes, that can be done, but it’s going to cost, I asked how much, she said 200.00. The price wasn’t really shocking, because I’m from the East Coast, however I expected my hair to be done Exactly like the picture I showed Jen. Booked an appointment for the next day. Upon arriving I was greeted by Jen, who is truly a sweet young lady. I was a bit surprised when she said she’d be doing my hair. I told her I had no Ideal she would be my stylist, however It was ok because she said she could do the style I wanted. Jen was very gentle, and very light handed, which was ok. However I noticed she was not using a wide tooth comb. After cutting, washing, added something to keep my hair in place and put me under the dryer. I did not look at what she was doing because she assured me that she did my hair type before. So my hair was finished, I looked in the mirror, the only thing that was done right according to the picture, was the color. My hair was stiff from the hair spray, and the cut/style was not what I asked for. I couldn’t even get upset, because the style was ok, but not for me. It was a bit old fashioned for me, as well as It was not what I asked for. I paid Jen 200.00 cash, she took pictures of my hair, and I left. The next day, I woke up, my hair was stuck to my head, and very hard, I could not comb it out. I called the salon, but the voice mail was full so I couldn’t leave a message. When I finally got in touch with Jen, I told her I needed to shampoo my hair because it was stuck to my head, and also, there was several places at the to of my head where it was just split ends, or burned from the use of a flat iron and har spray. So I asked what kind of shampoo to use, she told me Redkin for color treated hair. I shampooed my hair, noticed that the right side had been totally burned out,. I’m writing this review because, if I pay 200.00 for a hair style that’s exactly what I expect. At this point, my hair has damage due to the use of hair spray and flat iron, and just a bad cut., so it will definitely have to get it cut to be able to have a descent style. Sorry, my experience was not worth what I paid.

I’m so excited to have found such a great salon and stylist! I receive compliments on my hair days after my appointments and my hair is growing and healthier than ever. Jen is focused not only on making me look and feel gorgeous but also creating a great experience. She’s so very kind, on time, provides great conversation and is quite professional, always letting me know what she’s putting in my hair or where we are in the process. It’s also nice to see how well liked and respected she is by her colleagues. I’ve heard other stylists ask her advice on achieving their client’s coloring and styling goals. Clearly this woman knows what she’s doing! I would highly recommend booking your next appointment with Jen ASAP

Jen is absolutely amazing! I went in for a color correction and came out feeling amazing! My hair feels and looks so much healthier, the color is so vibrant. I love the entire vibe of the salon! Everyone is so nice and professional. I wont go anywhere else

Jen was amazing!! She is so professional and kind! She listened to exactly what I wanted with my hair and my color came out amazing, better then I was expecting! And it looks so healthy and vibrant. Not only did she do an amazing job with my hair she also did my daughters hair, again she listened to exactly what she wanted and did just that. She also was so patient listening to her never ending stories lol. She is all around amazing and knows what she is doing and does it with passion and care. We will never go anywhere else!! Thank you for doing what you love and doing it beautifully!!

The Stylist Jen gave me a perfect haircut. I showed her a picture that i found not expecting much and she exceeded my expectations by 1000%. The wash and cut was very nice and the hot neck shave was amazing. I felt great getting my haircut here and will definitely be returning again and again!!! Highly recommend!
