If you are looking for a hair master to bring your vision to life, you’ve found her! I had been struggling to find a hairstylist that I felt understood me and my hair. Shawna went above and beyond with my hair. I came to her with a vague idea of just wanting purple in my hair and she created a balayage of purples and pinks that blows me away every time. I have naturally dark hair and she knows how to lighten it safely and keeps expectations realistic. Shawna loves playing with fun colors and thinking outside of the box. She is a dream of a hairstylist and probably the best hairstylist I’ve had. You won’t regret booking with her!

I've been seeing Shawna for about a decade, so I feel that I can speak with authority as to how great she is. Not only is she brilliant at what she does, but she's so warm and approachable. That's so important for someone you're entrusting with your hair. Not only that, and this is where she really stands out against other stylists- she communicates VERY effectively about hair, giving the client words for things they might like/not like about their hair that they may not have come up with on their own. She's the only person in the world who understands my hair, my preferences about my hair (which she remembers because she LISTENS), and I wouldn't trust it to anyone else. And on top of this, she's just a lovely human being. Love her so much.

Shawna is extremely talented and gave me the best haircut of my life yesterday. This was my first time seeing Shawna. My sister has been seeing her for about a decade. I’ve got some hair trust issues and she managed to create a look that I have envisioned for myself for years but has always missed the mark. My vision became every part of her vision. She is a truly gifted artist, not to mention a super genuinely sweet human. I guess I found my new person!

Shawna is absolutely amazing! I've been seeing her for a little over 7 years now. When I first met her, my hair was a disaster. My previous stylist in California had done a number on my hair due to excessive bleach/color. My hair was literally breaking off. She did a color correction and literally saved my hair. Within a year, my hair was healthy, shiny and had gorgeous color. She is a true master at her trade, especially with color. As an added bonus, she truly cares about her clients and has the kindest soul. I always look forward to my visits with her. I highly recommend Shawna and The Dream Room Salon!

Shawna is amazing! She knows her stuff. I’ve been going to her for years. Prior to Covid I had box dyed red hair and she set a plan with me and the ultimate goal was blonde. I’m so happy she helped me achieve my natural hair color with no damage. Best part about the appointment is it’s like therapy for the hair and soul. She always makes my day!

Been going to Shawna for probably 7 years now. She saved a completely botched haircut and color my last stylist did. Before her I just assumed haircuts took a few days to get used to and “fall right”. But they’re actually something you can love from the moment you get it. She’s also found a way to make green hair look professional. I can’t recommend her enough.

Shawna is the best. Ever. EVER! Here’s why she’s great: If you show her a picture of something you’d like, she can help you obtain it while still being realistic about your hair. On that same note, she’s not going to push your hair into something that might damage it - like going from very dark to platinum blonde. Hair has limits and she knows that. She uses super awesome products and makes great recommendations. If you have any concerns about your hair type, she’ll gladly give you plenty of tips and suggestions. She’ll give you a haircut that will work with your lifestyle - if you’re busy and don’t have a ton of time to style your hair every day, she can help give you something that will look good without much effort. If you say you only want “a little bit” trimmed off, she won’t surprise you and cut off a bunch! She exceeds expectations every time. She’s the only hair stylist I’ve ever had who I trust completely! I usually just ask her to have fun with my hair and I’ve never once been disappointed. Shawna is also the sweetest person ever. Give her a visit, your hair will thank you.

I have been sitting in Shawn's chair for about 5 years and it is my favorite chair every time. I love Shawna! I had lots of bad and mediocre experiences before finding Shawna. She is very talented and takes great pride in what she does. Shawna has taken my style from short to long, rich brunette to shiny blonde, bangs to no bangs, and anything else I can dream up. I never get nervous about how my hair will look and feel. She always makes me look and feel fabulous! She is truly a jem!

I've been going to Shawna for years now. She always gives me a great, fun, low maintenance cut. I highly recommend her. I'm one of those people that will grow their hair out and not go in for a year sometimes, and she never pressures me about it. She cuts my hair when I want it done and it's fun to sit in her chair and chat while she works. This time I went in and got a few inches off and some fun layers.

Shawna is the best, hands down. She listens to what you want, educates you about your hair specifically, and does her magic. Her technique is amazing and you leave feeling super excited and happy about your hair. She’s also a great person who makes you feel like you’ve been friends for your whole life. I lost contact with her after she left her previous salon and have been looking for her ever since (5 years ago). She had only cut my hair once at that point but I instantly trusted her with my hair. My antics aside, Shawna is seriously the best of the best! She's an excellent stylist, an absolute professional, and a genuinely great person. She's passionate about her work and she cares about each and every client that sits in her chair! Shawna has been cutting my (wild) hair for 5 years now (OMG, has it really been 5 years?!) and I have loved every single cut! My hair is super thick and super fine and it can outgrow a cut in no time. Until I met Shawna, I'd never gone shorter than a long bob because (having had more than my fair share of poorly executed cuts) I was afraid it would be a disaster. (Imagine too-short bangs plus a cowlick!) Well, I now rock a banging pixie cut! And it's allll thanks to Shawna! If you need someone to do a really good job of cutting, coloring, or styling your hair, Shawna's your girl! And, more than likely, you'll also gain a friend in the process. I know I did!

I've been going to Shawna for 4 years and have never been disappointed! She took the time to get to know me and the needs of my hair. I can now go to her and say "the usual" and she knows exactly what to do! She's also willing to experiment with me and try new things, providing her expert advice on what will work with my specific hair type. I used to be the guy who would stop at those mall shops or the cheap $10 cuts and unfortunately... I rarely for a "great clip." Shawna was able to take my disheveled (albeit insanely and deliciously thick) head of hair and create something that I love! She took the time to figure out how my hair grows and how to make it look its best. Each time I see her, I feel like her interest in learning about my hair (and even my life) is genuine. To put it simply, Shawna consistently gives me my "dream hair"!
