I got a manicure that really took care of the dead skin while helping to teach me to heal the inflammation around my cuticles. I also love the Hammam packages for the winter time! And the massages are deep, helping to fix pain and problems that have lasted forever. Will be back &&& recommend to any woman looking for any treatment!

I had the Queen Cleopatra’s Hammam scrub service and my skin has never been softer. I feel like I have a whole new skin! I felt very comfortable and welcomed in this women’s only spa. The atmosphere was professional, clean, and personalized. I will be back!

I have been coming to this spa for waxes for 8 years. There truly is a "women supporting women" atmosphere, and their prices are so reasonable. I am very happy with their services and I love their new location!

Great service! This was my first time getting a facial and I was very happy with the results. They told me what they were using and what the purpose was. I have very sensitive skin and the products they used didn't give me any bad reactions. They also gave advice on some of the problem areas of my skin. The staff were amazing people and definitely added to my experience. They made feel welcomed right from the start.

Wonderful spa and customer service. I left a message for a short notice package for 3 ladies. They responded immediately, got us booked, and were very helpful in deciding the package. The massage, sauna, and henna were relaxing, rejuvenating, and enlightening. Thank you! Will be going back.

Best leg/foot massage I've had with my pedicure. Very quiet place. Not bad, I was very relaxed. However, some soothing music would be nice to add to the atmosphere. Some might feel a little awkward with the silence. I hope to return . Thank you :)

I absolutely LOVE this spa! Hana, Ertifa and Sarah are such amazing women and do such a great job with all of their services. I have been coming to this spa for 9 years and even after I moved an hour away, I still drive down to go here. They all make me feel so welcome, they are extremely caring and I really enjoy going here. My favorite is the sugar wax. Ertifa is so fast and so thorough! Love the results every time. Their pricing is great. I highly recommend!

Dead Sea spa is the only place I’ll go to now in SLC. Calm atmosphere, great service and professional. The staff there are very friendly and work hard to make you feel comfortable. Hana is the absolute best at threading eyebrows and has been the only person to touch my eyebrows for years now. I leave there happy with the results every time. Definitely a place worth visiting. Highly recommend the Brazilian sugaring service provided by Ertifa. I could tell right away she’s a master at her craft — quick, thorough, and confident. I’ve never been so satisfied with a sugaring and I’m so glad I discovered Dead Sea Spa. A 20% tip is added to your service as others mentioned. But this is clearly indicated at the register when you pay and I always tip for this service so I have no issue with it.

I did not like this place at all, I had a facial for the first time ever, nothing was explained to me about anything she would tell me every once in awhile what she was putting on my face. I broke out in what looked like a rash to me so I sent pictures to them on Monday, they told me it was purging, I looked it up and yes purging does happen but it does not itch. My face and neck itch like crazy. I honestly think I had an allergic reaction to something they put on my face. I don't care if it is all natural products are not you can still be allergic to natural products. I also had a pedicure which by far was the worst one I have ever had. She asked if I wanted my nails trimmed while I was still in the facial room, I said yes but just a little, she cut them extremely short and they were not even at all. She then cut me when she was filing my nails. The nail polish she used was old so it kept lumping, I took it off as soon as I got home that night as it was not pretty, and my toes were burning from all the cuts. I will never ever come back to this place again and I wouldn't recommend it to any one.

I don't have anything bad or good to say. I'll just share my experience. The salon is clean, with parking and I was greeted immediately. From what I remember, there are rooms with curtains not doors, so outside noise will be heard. I had henna, which was the most expensive henna I've ever had. I asked about my options prior to starting but was never told the cost or design details. As she drew, she talked and kept me engaged. No complaints because the conversation was interesting. As a result, I have a long, not intricate henna drawing and because of its size, I was charged the highest price. There is a 20% service charge on ALL services. It called a tip but tips are voluntary, this is not. While my henna is drying another employee and I are talking. As we are talking, another employee gives the hand across the throat sign indicating for her to stop talking so I will leave. I saw this and got up to go. I just paid $90 plus "tip" for mediocre henna and I can't sit in the EMPTY salon while it dries? Has any service provider wanted you to leave an empty salon, hours before closing with expensive and incomplete services AND a mandatory 20% "tip"? They have long term customers but this is my experience and I would not return. Update: there is one thing I HATE it's a liar. I was NOT told prices beforehand and I walked all the way to the back and saw rooms on both sides of the hall. The bathroom had a door. I sat in an open room where nails are done and the reflecology is in the hall leading to the rooms. Look at the photos they provided. This will confirm my statement.I could see who came and went in the salon. And "tip" was forced. She said my price plus 20%. When I pushed back it became 10%. You can see from other reviews there is a 20% "tip". Telling people how much to tip is tacky. You simple ask of they want to add a tip to the bill. Sometimes an owner's response is worse than the review. I did not give them a bad review i shared my experience, which is accurate, their response isn't.update again. The woman has sent me text messages about my review. I provided my number to make an appointment not to be harassed about my review. I've never seen anything like this.

I had the most wonderful experience recently at the Dead Sea Skin care and Day Spa. A group of us were on a work trip and were treated to a Spa Day. We were pampered with a manicure, pedicure, facial and hot stone massage while we were visiting . Everyone was amazing at the spa and we enjoyed our day. My favorite was a marvelous treatment I received from Hana. It was eye opening and rejuvenating along with an incredible release of stress. Hana spoke the truth to me and I am forever grateful for my beautiful day at the spa. Thank you!! Susie

I love this place! Ertifa is a miracle worker with sugaring! She is quick, a delight, and always maks me feel very comfortable. I am always very happy with my experience and results! Hana is continuously providing excellent communication and care. she always goes above and beyond to try to accommodate me and my hectic schedule. I have yet to experience the other services there yet I have Recommended this spa to a great deal of friends who have and loved it as well.

I received a gift certificate from my partner for Mother’s Day. I haven’t been to a spa since pre-COVID, and I hadn’t ever been to The Dead Sea Spa before. I am sure glad that he helped introduce me! If you're thinking about going... DO IT! I was lucky enough to come across Dead Sea Spa and visit the same day. I've been back religiously! Investing in yourself is so worth it, and I highly recommend doing it- I always leave feeling great! Everyone is very kind, friendly, and professional. Texting is super convenient, too! Lighting gives a soothing atmosphere and the walls/decor colors are gentle on the eyes, enhancing your relaxation experience. Having sensitive skin, sugaring is the way to go! I have experienced NO harsh perfumes or chemicals, allowing my sensitive skin to remain happy, and free from distress. My hair has grown back finer and fewer (yeah, seriously).

Ladies if you e ever considered doing a bikini or Brazilian, then you have to try Ertifah & her sugaring. I've been going to her for years. It is much better than waxing, lasts just as long & not as painful & Ertifah is a pro at how fast she is!! Reasonably priced, beautiful spa & decorations & they offer many services like threading, pedicures, etc. And even bonus they're next to crumble, so after you get done you can grab a cookie!!

My wife wasn’t sure what to expect from the “Signature Queen Cleopatra” package along with a mummy wrap. I do feel like the advertisement for “full day” is a little of a stretch. She had never had a spa day before and now that she has a bench mark we will know what to expect. Staff was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable during my purchasing of the package and follow up with her afterwards. Really not sure if we will be back but thank you for the experience

The spa is not worth the money, there is a forced 20pecent gratuity for all services for individuals not only groups, this is not listed on the website. Paid 525.00 for Nefertiti service and basic Pedi/Mani without any leg or arm massage. Kept breaking contact during the massage, very startling, and rubbing blood to the end of extremities instead of toward the heart. The staff are nice but services very lacking for the price.

There are some positives about this place: the staff are nice and the ambiance is cool. However, we left feeling taken advantage of. We planned on doing 5 simple massages and 6 basic pedicures. We even called over the phone and paid more than half before the appointment. At the time of the appointment, the owner kept coming to my mom and asking if she could add x, y, and z because people wanted/needed it. She wasn’t up front about the added prices of these additional services. The worst part was that she said my sister (birthday girl) would receive a “special” treatment for her birthday. Typically, when you say that, you mean you’re going to treat them. Not charge $1,000+ more for services that “she really needs because her skin is terrible” (we were told something along those lines). The owner asked if it were okay to do extra things for the birthday girl (like a full hydro facial treatment, eyebrow and face threading, and a bunch of other random stuff) but we didn’t realize that each of these things would be charged for. And the way she asked the birthday girl wasn’t, “do you want this?” Or anything like that. She basically said that she needed it and asked if she could do it. The final bill was $2,000+. What was supposed to be 5 massages and 6 pedicures (~$800) turned into a house payment. We probably should’ve been more direct in declining the extra treatments but we felt so pressured into doing them (and my mom felt like she had to if the birthday girl wanted them) that the whole experience was pretty sad. The owner called me and tried to explain why I was wrong in being upset about the extra services that we felt pressured into, which just made it worse because I didn’t feel like she even listened to my concerns. Overall, I would say to be very careful what you agree to and only come if you have a pretty brave personality.

This place is amazing! Hana is super sweet and funny and makes you feel wonderful! She is also an eyebrow whisperer. My brows are hard to work with, but she makes them look awesome! I was so relaxed I fell asleep while getting my lashes done. They really know what they're doing here and make you feel beautiful and confident. There's no place better!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

This was a very unique and fun facial to invest in! If you are looking for a natural and culturally informed way to do skincare, then this is your place. Not much else except salt, mud and rose water is used on your face along with massage and lymphatic drainage techniques. Hana was extremely accommodating, explained every part of the facial in detail to me, and was very astute to asking what kind of experience I was looking for (ex. If I wanted to relax she would tell me everything in advance so that I could nap during). She was even sweet enough to share her insights about my face and text instructions to me.

Today was my birthday and my smart husband got me his 7 month pregnant wife a spa day. 10 am to 3pm I was pampered. Honestly every service was amazing. Hanna and Sarah did fantastic job at getting me very relaxed so much so I got a little nap in. First time ever spa experience and was definitely worth the time and money.

When you walk in to The Dead Sea Spa, you literally enter into another world. Their atmosphere is so tranquil and their staff is incredibly helpful and professional. I have gotten facials, manicures, waxing, and threading done here and everyone does a tremendous job. Hana, the Reiki Master, does the best full body hot stone and Reiki healing. With just a half an hour, she did work that would be meant for two hours. I had years of trauma and new stresses that she helped heal. I was able to release a lot of emotions. Her technique is the best and her energy is extremely calming. You will leave feeling healed. The spa is incredibly clean as well so you can be rest assured you will have the best and most comfortable experience. I would recommend to anyone. ❤️❤️
