Great braiding place! Love their work. Nice people are working there. Dana was making a hair with so much care. But very hard to make an appointment with them and organize the process. Because you have to buy the extensions by yourself. As for me it was first time doing braids I had to go around the city to find extensions first and then come for an appointment. In total it took me half of a day to finish my hair. But anyway, in the end I really love the result. ❤️

Two appointments , braider arrived more than 45 minutes late for each appointment. At my second appointment the same braider wanted to leave quickly (after being late) because some personal something came up that needed her attention. Not an emergency, just something she wanted to do. She therefore haphazardly braided my hair. Refused to refund my money. Didn’t have any time in the near future to re-do the braids correctly. Never went back. A very negative space.

I've been hesitant to get braids after a really bad experience where my braids were braided to tight around my hairline and caused a lot of damage. After a bit of I research, I decided to give the Braid Bar LA a try. Twy, the owner, was incredibly nice and really accommodating. I got medium-sized box braids that were slightly shorter than waist length. Start to finish, it only took 4 hrs. From now on, I will only go to the Braid Bar LA for my protective styles!

These entrepreneurs know how to run their ship. And the shop is so chiiiiill. The team was so professional, down to Earth, and individuals comfortable in their own beauty. I really enjoyed the play list. My stylists Jessica truly did my ish right though. Very thorough. Very patient. And open minded to my style. She worked with me perfectly and my hair came out super bomb. Check them out ya'll.
